It was Friday and good thing Ill Woo reported already. Shin Hye and her boss was in a meeting the whole day as she wants to brief him with all the progress of their expansion projects.

Ill Woo demanded also this meeting knowing that Shin Hye will be out of the office without her knowledge.

“We will be able to start the construction of our Jeju Branch by  2nd quarter of this year. All the contracts were reviewed by Legal Team and it will be signed anytime soon” said Shin Hye

“Good job, Shin Hye. What will I do without you” said Ill Woo

“So you better give me a bonus, ok?” she joked

Ill Woo smiled and said “ I already did”

“I beg your pardon” said Shin hye

“Never mind” said Ill Woo

She was dismissed by 4 pm as their flight is scheduled at 8 pm. She really doesn’t have any idea what will happen for the next 7 days of her life.

She called Minho to check on him but his phone was off. She texted him twice, but no reply. She went to his secretary but she just said that he has urgent meeting today.

At 5 pm, she received a call from the receptionist.

“Ms. Park, if you could just go down the lobby, there’s an important person waiting for you. And he said that he doesn’t want to  wait”

“Is that so?” she replied, as she knows it could only be Minho.

“Tell that person to wait for me” and then she ended the call.

She took her purse and head towards the elevator and then much to her surprise, someone was waiting for her.

“Ms. Park, we are given strict instruction that you are to use this private elevator” and then when she went inside, she was smiling. “What is he up to?” she asked herself.

As she reached the lobby and the door opened, there was a red carpet, filled with petals of flowers. All the hotel guest were smiling.

“Oh my god, is he going to propose?” she then asked herself again

While walking, following the trail of the carpet, her face was flushed, too dumbfounded with what’s happening.

The red carpet ended as it reaches the port, where a black limousine is waiting for her. When it opened, Minho went down, he was wearing his usual office attire, his expensive suit but this time, he was holding a bouquet of flowers.

“What’s all this fuss, Mr. Lee?” she asked

“You are indeed romantic Ms. Park” he said

“I just don’t like surprises” she said

“Well, this is just the beginning. Brace yourself” said Minho as he pulled her closer to him and kissed her firmly on her lips.

“Yah, Oppa, everyone is looking at us. It’s embarrassing. And you are the owner of this hotel” said Shin Hye

He handed the bouquet to his driver and tilted Shin Hye and continue to kiss her.

“I just want everyone to know that I am so much in love with you” he said

“You are insane” said Shin Hye

“Yes, I am. I am crazily in love with you. Come on, I have so much plan for you” as he opened the car door and let her in. He took the flowers and put it on Shin Hye’s lap.

“These are beautiful , Oppa. Thank you. But what’s the occasion?” she asked

“It’s your birthday” said Minho

“My birthday is on Thursday next week” said Shin Hye

“Then it will be our countdown till Thursday” said Minho

“Where are we going?” she asked

“It’s a surprise” said Minho

Then he pulled her closer to him and wrap his arms around her “Just be patient. Wait and see” said Minho

She looked up at him and smiled at him , while Minho kissed her forehead.

After an hour, Shin Hye was not aware that she drifted off to sleep. Minho gently tap her forearms.

“Baby, were here” said Minho

Shin hye straightened and look around her.

“Oppa, we’re at the airport” she exclaimed

“Yes, I thought so too” said Min ho

“Yah, Oppa. Are we going somewhere?” she asked

“Yes, we are. It’s another surprise for you” said Minho

“But Oppa, I have work. Ill Woo just came back” said Shin Hye

“He knows. I told him you be taking your leave” said Minho

“And did he approved?” she asked

“No, but he doesn’t have any say on this. I own the company where he work. Come on, we better check in” said Minho

“Oppa, I don’t have clothes” said Shin Hye

“Yes you have. My personal shopper chose all the clothes for you and it’s all packed in one of those luggages” said Minho

She was beyond mad at him for manipulating this but she find it heart fluttering.

“Don’t you have schedule?” she asked

“My schedule right now is with you. We need to catch up with what we lost. And I need to catch up in making you feel how sorry I am for what I did in the past and if i need to do that everyday, I will never go tired of proving it to you” said Minho

She tiptoed and planted a kiss on his lips “ You don’t need to do much effort. I love you that’s why I gave us another chance” said Shin Hye

“Come on, we’ll be late” and he grab her hands and check in their luggage. 

They were seated first class. Minho took at seatbelt from her and he put it on for her.

He was holding her hand when the flight attendant appeared. She seems to be trying to get Minho’s attention.

“Would you care for a drink Sir” she asked haughtily

“Yes. Champagne will do” he said and then when she was about to leave, Minho called her back

“Aren’t you going to ask my girlfriend what she liked?” he asked

“I am sorry Sir. Mam, would you want some champagne too?” she asked

“Yes, please” Shin Hye answered

And then Minho gave her a disgruntled look.

“You are so mean to her” said Shin Hye

“Because she ignored you” said Minho

“Oppa, it’s obvious that she wants your attention. I don’t like it but what can I do. My boyfriend is so handsome” said Shin Hye

He took her chin and leaned closer to her.

“Don’t say things like that when we are more than 7 hours locked on this flight” said Minho as he quickly kissed her lips, his eyes lingering on hers.

The attendant appeared and her face was flushed. Too surprise to see them showing affection in public.

She handed the drinks to them and left.

Minho was reading a book during the flight while Shin hye was sleeping, her head cushioned on Minho’s shoulder.

He looked at her and closed the book he was reading. Nothing has changed all these years. Her face is still angelic even when she sleeps. He touched her  smooth cheeks. She opened her eyes and smiled at him.

“Are we close to Vienna?” she asked

“Just two hours to go” said Minho

“And why are you looking at me like that,  when I was so helpless?” she asked , teasing him

“Because you are so beautiful and I am so lucky” he said.

“You’re not so bad yourself, Oppa” she laughed

It was a long flight but both of them appreciated it. They looked like a couple having their honeymoon.

Minho took the camera from his bag and took photos of them inside the airplane. The attendants were smiling at them as they can’t seem to get enough of each other. Whispering on each other’s ear, giggling and openly flirting at each other, oblivious that other passengers were watching them as well.

It was almost 3am when they touchdown Vienna and as they disembark from the airplane,  Minho was holding her hand.

“So far, it was the most enjoyable flight I had in years” he said.

After getting their luggage, Shin Hye was surprised that there was also a limousine waiting for them.

“I wonder when your surprises will end” she asked as she snuggled closer to Minho.

“Well, I am just starting. The list maybe endless” he said

“You don’t have to do this , you know” she said

“I know, but I want to. I am creating new memories for us, remember” said Minho as he kissed her cheeks.

“Where are we staying?” she asked

“Now, that is not a surprise.  Hotel Sacher Wien” he said

She haven’t been in Vienna, that she doesn’t have the faintest idea about the hotel they were staying. She was just contended to be with Minho.

In less than an hour, they arrived at the Hotel  Sacher Wien. Minho went to the reception area to check in, leaving Shin Hye on the couch as she kept on being in awe. The lobby was over the top already. She wondered their suite will be more extravagant than this.

Minho held her hand as they went towards the elevator.

“We’ll be staying at La Traviata Suite” he said, his eyes gleaming with excitement

“Are we sharing same room?” she asked

“Of course” and then winks at her

Shin Hye blushed and looked behind her. She just hope the man behind them doesn’t understand their conversation.

The room was extravagant, just like what she anticipated.

The suite is bigger than her house. They suite has its own living room, the furniture , top of the line. When she opened the bathroom, there was a bathtub at the center , then filled with expensive toiletries.

When she moved back at the living room, Minho was holding two glasses filled with champagne and handed one to Shin Hye.

“I know it’s quite early and we need to sleep but I want to start this journey right. Welcome to Vienna! “ as he raised his glass, offering a toast to Shin Hye.

Shin Hye raised her glass and drank the champagne but she was only halfway when Minho took the glass from her and place in on the center table and cupped her face.

“I love you so much, baby” said Minho

“And you being like this makes me love you more” said Shin Hye

Then Minho suddenly scooped her in his arms and whispered in her ear

“Let’s check our bedroom” as Shin Hye hooked her hands around his neck and nod in agreement.

She woke up, Minho’s arms was wrapped around her, while her head was cushione
