The Battlefield
The Price of LoveJackson was kissing him.
Was this really happening? He wasn't dreaming, right? Of course, he wasn't. Jackson had his arms around his waist, while Mark had his hands around the other's neck.
It was happening.
And to top it all off, Mark was actually responding to the kiss.
Mark wasn'r experienced in these kind of things. Heck, he wasn't even sure what love was. But even with that said, he was sure of one thing. People who kiss should have intimate feelings for each other. The kiss was very intimate, but, what about their feelings? Did that mean Jackson liked him? He was the one who initiated the kiss. So, that had to mean something, right?
This was a new thing for Mark, kissing. He hasn't kissed anyone, besides his parents. So technically speaking, this was his first kiss happening right now.
Jackson Wang took his first kiss.
If he were to desrcibe it, the kiss was gentle, but firm. Jackson's lips felt so warm and so soft.
Though, Mark could tell Jackson was experienced. How many girls had these pair of lips kissed? Probably a lot.
Jackson pulled away, making Mark frown a bit. Why did he pull away? He could still feel the ghost of Jackson's lips on his. He opened his eyes, noticing the expression the other had. Why was Jackson frowning?
"Jackson-"
"Mark, I'm sorry." Mark was taken aback. Sorry?
"Why..."
"The kiss... I didn't mean to kiss you." You didn't? "It was a mistake."
Mistake? Jackson's words, they were honeyed poison. His words were apologetic, but they also felt like daggers, stabbing Mark's chest.
"Don't take it the wrong way, okay? Just.... just forget about it." How can I forget about something like this?
"Jackson-"
"I'm sorry, Mark. I'm really sorry." Jackson quickly walked away. Wait, come back, please.
But Mark couldn't even call out the other's name anymore.
The kiss, it was a mistake. It wasn't supposed to happen. Then why, why did Jackson kiss him in the first place? Was he feeling sorry for him?
Everything was going well. For a moment, Mark felt so sure, sure about everything. They had this connection, a spark. Jackson was the one who initiated the kiss. He started it.
Then why, why was it a mistake?
Stupid, Mark Tuan. Stupid. What was Mark even expecting from this? He made himself believe that Jackson did like him, well at least at that time, he did. But now, he did,'t know what to believe anymore.
His first kiss was with Jackson Wang, but the person who took it away, ran away. He left Mark hanging.
Because according to Jackson, it was a mistake.

Jinyoung's class just ended. He was actually expecting a text from Mark, but nothing of the sorts came. He tried calling him, but the redhead wasn't answering his calls.
So, he decided to go to the cafe', thinking the two were still talking. His Chemistry class lasted for three hours. They couldn't possibly still be talking, right?
He was a few blocks away, when he noticed there was no Jackson, or Mark sitting by the window. Where could have they gone? He was about to check elsewhere, when someone called his attention. That voice, Jinyoung was sure who that voicebl belonged to.
"Jinyoung"
"Min" He said. He still felt a bit uncomfortable around her. She left his best friend, hurting him in the process. So, he wasn't actually happy to see her.
"Hey, how are you?" She asked. Wow, besides her blonde hair, she hasn't changed, not one bit.
"I've been fin
