"Hey, guys." Aerri greeted everyone on the table as she took a seat beside Sara. The tray that she brought with her was filled with a small bag of fries, 2 small plates of cakes, a bowl of yukgaejang, deep fried tofu, green beans stir fry, and a cold glass of coffee. Daesung's laugh erupted when he saw Aerri's tray of food.

"Hungry, Aerri? Yukgaejang with fries and cakes? For dinner? Really?" Daesung laughed.

"Yes, I'm hungry. I haven't eaten anything since this morning, so I basically grabbed anything that looks delicious." Aerri said as she chewed on some fries.

"That's the first time I've ever heard someone said green bean stir fry looked delicious." Sara chuckled.

"Well, basically anything would look delicious when you're as hungry as I am right now."

"If this is how you eat after half a day down there, I couldn't imagine how much you ate after you got back from your punishment. You couldn't eat anything down there, right? It that we could only eat food from the dorm." Bae said.

"Yeah. Thankfully Seunghyun managed to find me and gave me some food from the dorm."

Seunghyun glanced at Aerri who was busying herself with her bowl of yukgaejang. She hadn't look at him at all since the day she was punished more than 2 weeks ago. She never avoided him directly, since she would still join the others at the cafetaria even if he was on the same table. She also would still laugh at his jokes and join his conversation. But she kept avoiding any eye contact or any form of direct conversation with him. This time she wouldn't even look at him even though she mentioned his name.

Aerri also avoided the others' question about her punishment. Every time they asked her a question about her punishment, she'd give them short answers and changed the topic of the conversation quickly. She also lied to Sara when Sara asked her where she stayed the night during the punishment. Aerri only said that she found a decent place to sleep, and conveniently left out the info about Seunghyun’s apartment. Seunghyun was a bit relieved that Aerri didn't tell the others about his apartment. Sara, Daesung, and Bae didn't know anything about the place, and he didn't plan on telling them about it anytime soon.

"I thought you were going on a date with Bae?" Aerri asked Sara. See? She was changing the topic again.

"Yup! We're going now actually. Ready to go, Bae?" Sara asked Bae.

"Yes. Let's go." Bae said as he got up from the table.

"I got a late work too. I better get going now." Dae said, following Bae and Sara. "See you later, guys." he said to Aerri and Seunghyun while the others wave at them.

After the others left, the only thing that was left on their table was a straining awkwardness. This was the first time they were alone with each other since the punishment. Seunghyun's urge to apologize and his intention to avoid his familiarity with Aerri were still fighting inside his mind, like the devil and the angel shouting suggestions of what he should and shouldn't do. He was not sure which one was the devil and which one was the angel, though. For the last 2 weeks, Seunghyun had successfully avoided making a decision of what to do, cause he never had the chance to be alone with Aerri. But that moment in the crowded cafetaria, he realized that he should make a decision soon.

Seunghyun moved to the seat in front of Aerri, staring at the girl who was still keeping her eyes on the food in front of her. He watched her finish her yukgaejang, munch on her fried tofu and fries, and eat her cakes. She still didn't look at him at all even after the green beans stir fry was the only food she had left.

Seunghyun directed his stare at the small plate of green beans stir fry. Ever since Aerri put her tray of food on the table, that simple green beans stir fry caught his eye. Somehow he had a feeling that Aerri would hate them, just like he knew that Aerri would hate olives. He waited for her to take her first bite of the stir fry to see if he was right again.

"Why do I suddenly have a bad feeling about this?" Aerri muttered as she took a piece of green beans, and put it in . When her expression changed as soon as the first crunch of green beans can be heard, Seunghyun knew that his prediction were correct once more.

"Oh God." she mumbled as she grabbed her glass of cold coffee, body slightly bouncing in her seat and face cringing as she drank gulp after gulp of the coffee to put away that disgusting taste from . She looked hilarious that Seunghyun couldn't help but chuckle. The deep voice of his soft laughter surprised the girl, as she hadn't expected him to laugh because of her.

But then Seunghyun remembered the fact that he just correctly guessed another dish that Aerri hated. How the hell did he know that? He sighed heavily as his desperation emerged once more. He wanted to know why he felt so close to Aerri, why he knew things that he shouldn't have known, and why he felt so familiar with her. And to make things worse, the last 2 weeks were almost unbearable when he constantly have to fight the pull he felt to get closer to her, to talk to her, to make her laugh. Where did all of those feelings come from? He knew he hadn't spent enough time with her to feel so much like that.

When Aerri heard his chuckle, she couldn't help but feel a slight joy. Since the punishment, she didn't know how to act with him. She didn't dare to greet him first or to look him in the eyes, because she was afraid that the flutters she felt when she was with him would be back again. And she'd hate herself if she did feel that flutter again for no reason at all. Why would she feel that way for a guy that kept on trying to keep his distance with her?

At first, she was a bit upset at him for getting angry at her for no good reason. But after a few days, she turned curious. She wanted to know the reason of his sudden change of behavior. But she didn't know how to ask him, especially since she didn't want him to suddenly scold her again.

The joy she felt when she heard him chuckle disappeared in an instant when she heard Seunghyun's heavy sigh. The contrast of his 2 gestures, his chuckle and his sigh, couldn't be more obvious. And she knew right then that she couldn't stay mum about his attitude anymore. She should, at the very least, ask him about it.

"Seunghyun, is there something wrong?" she asked him, finally having the courage to look him in the eyes. When he did nothing but to look back at her silently, she added, "Did I do something that upset you? If I did, you're going to have to explain it to me, cause I don't understand what I've done wrong. Throughout the last 2 weeks I've went from angry and upset to you for suddenly yelling at me, to pure confusion cause I sincerely don't know what I did wrong."

To her desperation, Seunghyun still said nothing.

"I like being friends with you and the others. You guys made me feel less alone. So if you have any problems with me, please do tell me about it." she said again.

Seunghyun still didn't say anything. Not because he didn't want to, but simply because he didn't know what to say. Even if he told her about the familiarity he felt with her, and then what? But god damn it, how come he wanted to be with her so much?

So he stayed silent, pushing Aerri to ask him another question. "Or you just don't like me for no reason at all?" she said, starting to get really irritated by his silence. When she still got nothing from the boy in front of her, she shook her head and stood up from the table. "Bye, Seunghyun." There was no use of her staying there any longer.

Seunghyun still stay silent even when Aerri left the table. But though no words left his lips, his mind was in chaos as he cursed himself for his stupidity and cowardice. But even as Aerri walked quickly towards the door, he was still glued to his chair, as if he was unable to move.

Seconds after Aerri left the room, he finally grasped some courage and stood up from his chair to follow her. "Oh, it." he muttered as he decided to go with his heart, for once.

He left the room quickly, hoping to catch up with her. But short as she was, it seemed that Aerri was quite a fast walker. Not to mention that he was a bit tired after a whole day of work. So, Seunghyun only managed to see a glimpse of Aerri's figure at the top of the stairwell before she disappeared behind all the other Cupids and Reapers at the dorm. Once he ran up the stairwell, Seunghyun could see her making a turn on a corner. So he followed her again. But after he took the same turn, he lost her as he stood in front of a long hallway with at least a dozen doors on each sides of the hallway. How was he going to find out which room was hers?

He walked slowly to the end of the hallway, trying to find something as a clue that would tell him which one of the doors that would take him to Aerri. But all the doors looked the same. When he walked through the hall for the third time, he actually considered knocking on every single door to find her. It was either that or giving up again. But he didn't want to give up again, because he was afraid that his courage would leave him again whenever the next chance of apologizing arrived.

But then he heard it. A faint muffled sound of a guitar could be heard from behind one of the doors. After a bit of searching, he finally figured out the source of the sound. He stood in front of the ninth door on the right side of the hallway, listening to the guitar sound. He had to hold on to all the courage he could gather to not turn around and run away once more. The temptation was there, and the turmoil in his mind started again. But he quickly rise his hand and knock the door before he could change his mind.

The sound of the guitar stopped after he knocked on the door, a sign that he had found the correct room. Seconds later, Aerri opened the door. She looked surprised when she found him standing in front of her door.

"Hi, Aerri. Can I come in?" he asked her before she even greeted him. The risk of him suddenly running away was still there, so he'd just have to fight it and apologize to Aerri while he still have some strings of courage to grasp on.

"Sure.." she answered as she stepped aside to let him in her room. But as soon as he saw the room behind her, Seunghyun could felt a sinking feeling in his stomach.

Aerri's room was exactly the same as his room.

It's not just the layout of the furniture inside it that was the same. Every little thing in her room was the same as his. From the dark blue walls, the sunroof over the simple bed, the wood accent on the panel and on the furniture in the room, to the Clockwork Orange and some other movie posters on the wall. Even the empty wall with nothing hanging on it at one side of the room was the same as his.

"Seunghyun?" Aerri's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He was still standing in front of the door, feet glued to the floor as he looked around in her room. But he finally stepped inside the room and let Aerri closed the door behind him.

"Have a seat.. wherever.." she said as she awkwardly sat on the carpeted floor, her back leaning on her bed frame. Her guitar was back on her lap as she hugged it lovingly. But somehow Seunghyun couldn't take his eyes off the empty wall. He always felt the same way whenever he was in his own room. As if there was suppose to be something that made him feel comfortable on the w
