GENTLE
Eternities
II. TAEK WOON
I have a date with her today.
I fished out for a certain black coat in my closet. As I dragged it out of the wardrobe, a smile escaped from my lips. Memories kept on appearing. Gently. I stood in front of the mirror to see if the piece of clothing perfects me. She always told me that black compliments my porcelain skin. Now I know why it was my favorite color.
Walking around town, I realized that there was something missing. I bought a bunch of Baby’s Breath for her - “It reminds me of you.” She said. I bet she would be happy.
Finally, I reached my destination. She greeted me with a smile. I smiled back, placing the little flowers in front of her as I leaned down and kissed the cold glass that separated us. I was right.
She was happy. She was smiling for eternity. Gently.
