XXV. SANG HYUK
My Sunday evenings always consist of either me slacking off and not doing any homework and instead would end up playing video games, or just, playing video games. I didn't intentionally set up this kind of schedule, promise! It just ended up being that way, and maybe that's how it's just meant to be, you know? Or maybe video games and I are just meant for each other. Today wasn't an exemption as well. I'm in front of the PC playing those visual novels - Where, unlike in reality, relationships would go smoothly by just choosing the right words between two or three options and left clicking them with the mouse button. Then, just sit back, relax, and maybe even grab some popcorn and watch things happen before you in 2D.
That's the pros of games. Primarily sim dating games. You won't have to deal with complicated relationships in real life, especially if you're not an expert in the field of "dating". Like I am.
"I'm finished!" I hurriedly brought the empty dishes to the sink and left them there. Mom was washing the dishes and she winced when I passed by her, "Already!?" "Mmm!" I nodded my head and rushed upstairs to continue where I left off. I'm just so excited to return to my game which was paused, so there's no time to waste!
When I opened the door, my eyes widened and I even had to take two steps back. I was shocked with what I saw in my room - It was a girl. Rather, it was the girl I was chasing after in the game! Wha... What just happened!? I was just gone for like twenty minutes and a girl from a video game appeared out of nowhere. She turned her head towards my confused self with this expression I couldn't quite comprehend. I didn't know if she was as surprised as me or amazed.
"Hyukkie-kun!!!" She exclaimed.
I guess I should've done my homework after all...?
