VII. HAK YEON
The streets are busy as usual.
It was the same everyday. This city is lifeless, and cold, like November air. The whole town is in monochrome. It’s always on the run… I tucked my hands in the pockets of my trench coat and walked aimlessly along the sidelines. My fortune cookie told me to meet someone new today. Hah. I sneered. What a joke.
There’s something missing with everyone in this town - A name. In this society, identity is meaningless.
Socializing was meaningless.
I sighed to myself and paused for a while. At the corner of my eye, I saw this girl. She had silky hair and porcelain skin. Beautiful. Frankly, she was the only one that had color in this world. I tried chasing her… To ask for a name.
How unfortunate. She will forever just be a memory.
I know. In this world, there are many sorrowful things.
