BEAR
Eternities
XVIII. SANG HYUK
I told my manager that I was tired of seeing the same faces every day. Not like I despised being an idol or anything. It wasn't like that. It's just that... I just wanted some free time. Some time for myself so that I could breath properly. All the work, stress, and pressure people demand me makes me suffocate. I'm fed up of hearing all of the people's expectations about me, especially now that I'm a person they look up to.
So, my manager gave me a solution.
"Sang Hyuk-ah." He patted my shoulder. I turned around, "What is it?"
"I'm going to give you a super-secret-special mission." He grinned ever so widely.
Hence, here I am, standing in the middle of a park holding a bunch of assorted-colored balloons in a bear suit. I sighed to myself and inspected my surroundings using the holes that were poked on the eyes of the bear suit. "What am I doing..." I mumbled as I remained rooted on the asphalt ground. Everyone stared at me with confused eyes; they were probably weirded out as to why a bear costume was standing there. Who wouldn't?
When I was about to leave my spot, I bumped onto someone I never knew of. I stumbled a little. "S-Sorry." She lowered her head and apologized. As soon as she lifted her head, her eyebrows cringed. "Don't I know you from somewhere?"
I raised an eyebrow. I realized that when we got collided, the costume's head fell, revealing my face.
"That depends; do you watch TV?"
My manager told me that this was the only way to meet new people, since I told him that I always see the same faces regularly. That wasn't what I actually meant but...
Yeah, I guess I did meet someone new.
300 words.
