Humans are such liars.

 

I glanced at the clock, leaning on the bar with my cellphone in front of me - 11:00 pm. I've sent her dozens of messages, and she hadn't replied to a single one. I tried to call her, but she kept on hanging. It's been hours since she left without me knowing. I bet she's at the club again, that girl... She never learns.

 

"You don't have the right to tell me what to do!"

 

"Is it wrong to go out and have fun?"

 

"Geez, you keep telling me to not go there! You think I'm flirting with other guys!?"

 

I scratched my head in frustration. For the umpeeth time, I tried calling her. What a miracle! She answered. "Could you just stop it!?" My mind went blank and the call ended. Then, the ring came...

 

I always told myself that this relationship was a lie.
