Today is my birthday, and she bought me a brand new camera as a gift.

 

It wasn’t the latest of it’s kind, to be honest. It was old and was still usable. She loved all things vintage. At first, I told her to just buy it for herself if she really liked it, but she refused and bought it for me, since taking pictures was my hobby. I couldn’t say no to her.

 

It had been weeks since I had the camera, yet it was just laying on the coffee table. I’ve been longing, wanting to try it out together with her… And today, we tested the camera out. She was all set and ready for her picture to be taken.

 

3… 2… 1…

The photo came out and I took a peek. Something was odd. Behind her were two bright lights, or perhaps a bus looming right behind.
