Sunny and Jessica went their separate ways. Since that morning, they had not talked to each other but their love for each other remained. 

Sunny became a doctor and was married to Soo Young, a lesbian artist who frequently held artshows within their area. They had since adopted 3 children. 

Jessica on the other hand never married nor entertained any other man or woman. She kicked her drinking and smoking habit and became a gay literature writer, promoting equality and tolerance as well as hope for the LGBT community. 

Sunny and Jessica's love was a fleeting one, alas. One that was brought about by a sudden overwhelmness of each other. However, during the short time that their love lasted, it was the sweetest for the both of them, one that would always stay with them for the rest of their lives. They may not have ended up with each other, but they were essential in each other's growth. Now, despite their distance and success, they always had each other in their hearts and this was more important than any kind of communication.
