***Cha-gi’s POV***

I went out of my office when I heard my employees creating some noise, as if there was something going on. Then I saw all of them huddling around the table inside the meeting room, I started wondering what was it about when I saw all of my agents holding a plate of food.

“What’s happening?” I asked

“Noona! Come on, eat with us!”

“Jun Hee??” why was Sandeul’s driver here? “What are you doing here? where is~”

“Annyeong, pretty!”

I squealed in shock when I heard Sandeul’s voice right behind me. I took a step forward before turning to him. He was also holding a plate on his left hand.

“Why are you here!?” I asked

“I just thought of treating you for lunch because of what you did yesterday. So I brought some homemade food here in your office.”

“How did you know where our company is?”

“I asked Jaehyo-Hyung.” He said, and offered me a piece of crab stick “This tastes good.”

“Boss! It does really taste good” said my agent

“Definitely. Sandeul-hyung is the best in cooking.” Jun hee said full of pride

I looked at food and back to him “You cooked all of this?” I took a sit

“Aniyo! Just the rice...” he pulled the chair beside me and sat there

“believe me noona!” said Jun Hee with food in his mouth “Sandeul-hyung has been preparing this since yesterday. He cooked everything.”

“I thought you were sick yesterday” I turned to him raising my eyebrow

“Yes I was!” he went to the table and picked up a piece of Kimchi. He offered it to me again “Don’t worry, I just needed a little rest yesterday~” I know he was trying to hide that he had migraine yesterday, what he didn’t know is that I already knew why he was not in the mood.

“Is that why you were able to cook all of this”  I said with a smirk on my lips

“Ne~ come on, let’s eat. Don’t you like the food I prepared?” he said then took a deep breath and frowned “What do you want? Just say it, I’ll cook it for you” he said like a kid

I smiled at him and took a plate for myself, I felt so relieved now that Sandeul had finally recovered at the same time I feel so great that he cooked these food for me, I joined the little party he put up in my office.

“here, Cha-gi, Ahhhh~~” he said, he was sticking out a spoon full of food “I’ll help you eat.”

I slapped his hand away “What are you doing?” I felt so embarrassed ‘cause everyone’s watching.

“Wae?” he frowned again “is this what I get for cooking for you?”

“Yah! stop playing like a nice guy Sandeul, you know how much you hated me since the first time we met.” I said

“you were the one who hated me..” he replied.

“ok. Ok.” I said then rolled my eyes and looked away

“Cha-gi~ah~~”

“Sandeul...”

“See, you took care of me yesterday and I wanted to pay for your kindness” he said, and I felt something touch my heart

“If only I didn’t know what kind of a guy you are I would have fallen for that” I said, still enjoying the food that he made for me

“It’s true.” He said

“I’m not asking for anything in exchange Sandeul..” I said emotionless

“Cha-gi, I’m just trying to show how grateful I am when you helped me yesterday” he offered me a spoonful of rice and beef bulgogi “say, ahhh~”

“Why don’t you eat on your own” I said, trying to sound irritated

“I prefer to feed you.. you’re so skinny, you need to eat a little more.” He said starting to mock me again

“I’m not skinny. This is what you call ‘fit’!” I protested

“That’s skinny.. here, spicy chicken buldak, eat this” he still insisted

“Sandeul..” I said, irritated. He started laughing

“You know what Cha-gi, by the way you react.. it shows that you’re not really used to being treated like this by a man.”

“it’s none of your business, Mr. Nice smile” I said then gave him a smile

“You have a grain of rice... right here” he brushed the side of my lips with his thumb “I didn’t know Ms. Perfect also has a flaw” I didn’t expect that. He was so close I could almost breathe in his spicy masculine scent. Then he grinned at me. My heart went thumping uncontrollably, so before I lose my mind I stood up.

“Cha-gi.. where are you going?” he said

“I need to go to the toilet. I need to poop!” I exclaimed

I saw Sandeul turn his expression into a grimace, in disgust I guess. And all of my agents went snarling “Boss! Can’t you see we’re eating here?”

“And so? I really need to poo~~”

Then Sandeul stood up and reached to cover my mouth “Yeah we know. You don’t have to repeat it.”

I immediately removed his hand from covering my mouth “AISH! The heck!”

“You’re really pretty when you’re angry, Cha-gi~~” he said while smiling

Everyone started teasing us. “Stop it.” I said

“Is it true Boss? You’re really dating Sandeul?” my secretary curiously asked

“MWOYO?”

“Uhhm.. Don’t mind her Cha-gi, she doesn’t know what she’s saying.” Sandeul said

“Wait a minute!” I turned to my secretary “What did you just say? Where did you get that rumor?” I don’t really have to ask her, ‘cause what I saw in her desk was already a proof, I saw a newspaper and in the front page was a picture of me and Sandeul when we were walking out of the building. I started reading the Caption: Lee Sandeul’s mysterious girl reappear and their relationship is confirmed. Our beloved Deullie is now officially taken.

I turned to Sandeul. He has a spoon in his mouth as if waiting for my verdict. “Reappeared? Am I some kind of a ghost?”

He removed the spoon from his mouth “you’re not angry?” he said

“later. I will be. Follow me” I went straight to my private room. Then my agents started teasing us again

“Hwaiting Sandeul! Hwaiting!!”

When the door was finally shut close, I turned to him and started talking “I’m not going to ask anything about the scandal. But I want you to answer me straight.. you came here for something am I right?”

“uhm.. a bit.”

I folded my arm in front of my chest “I’m waiting”

He started talking to explain his purpose of being there “I was just thinking of consoling you. I know you’ll get angry once you read the news. I’m sorry. I can’t control what the media would write in the news papers.” He said

I’m kinda angry at what I just saw in the newspaper right now, I wanted to be angry at him, but I just can’t. When I heard his ‘Sorry’.. it seems like all the grudge I have for him went away. 

 “Will you be... I mean.. will you act as my girlfriend?” he asked shyly, for a minute there I thought he was going to ask me to be his girldfriend for real. but he did not.

I wanted to scratch his face with my finger nails. I feel so stupid for hoping that he’d ask me to be his girlfriend, he just wanted me to pretend to be his girlfriend. “Is that it? Is that your wise plan?”

“well, that’s all I can come up with..” he said as he shrugged his shoulders

“Sandeul.. I can’t afford~~”

“Cha-gi, you can scream you know.”

“Mwo?”

Then he went to me placed his hands on my shoulder and started shaking me “let out all the hate in your heart. Don’t keep it to yourself. It’s bad for your health.” He kept shaking me “Shout, slap me, punch me on my face, or kick me. Let it out Cha-gi” he said

“there’s nothing to let out, Sandeul, I’m not angry. But I have an axe just underneath my table, take your hands off me If you don’t want me to take that out for you” he gave me a forced grin and removed his hand from holding my shoulders “Fix yourself!” but instead he stayed there standing just in front of me, he touched my head and fixed my long hair, then I gave him a pitch dark stare

***Sandeul’s POV***

Being here in front of her is like a dream. I’ve always wanted to be this close to her, and tell her how much I’m starting to fall for her.. her stare makes me want to kiss those cute pair of eyes.. I raised my hand and touched her hair

“I asked you to fix yourself, not to fix my hair” she said

“I don’t really have to. You’re already pretty.” I said, then I saw her face turn red. I’ll never get tired praising her.

“let’s go back to our first problem, can we?” she said. I smiled when she started to change the topic, she always does that whenever I try to praise her

I started walking back until I was leaning against her mahogany desk. I crossed my arms and watched her carefully; I can see how she’s irritated with my stare. “I never thought that we’d come to this, Cha-gi” I said “I thought we’d be enemies until the end. But I like this better. I can now see the real you.”

“Don’t change the topic, Sandeul, I did not ask you to come here to praise my beauty.” she said sounding so irritated

I started chuckling “You’re right. Okay, let’s talk about this problem of ours.”

“What's the plan then?”she asked me, I’m guessing this girlfriend-boyfriend scheme is a great idea.. I could date her although it’s just for a show.

“I was thinking of just playing with the issue for a while. The more we resist the media men, the more they would come and bother us. We’d admit to them that we are dating, then if they fall for it we could play a ‘little breakup’ and nobody would ever notice.” I took a deep breath, when I saw her skin turn pale “do you need water?”

“yes, please..” she said, then I  stood up to get her some water from the water dispenser just near her desk. I handed it to her, and she immediately took a sip

“are you alright?” I ask, a little concerned because I know I shocked her with my plans, I should have said it little by little

“what about my job as your bodyguard?” she asked

“if we pull this off clean, I’ll forget all of those things that had happened between us” I said, but she remained silent

“Ne..” she presented her hands to me to give me a hand shake “deal.”

***Cha-gi’s POV***

He’ll forget everything what had happened between us when all of this is over. My heart felt weak when I heard his words. But I have no rights to confess, I’m only his bodyguard.. although I’m starting to like him, he definitely doesn’t like me.. I stuck my hand out to him to give him a handshake. He took it and gave me a grip, a firm one. I raised my head to him, we stared at each other for a while. My heart went thumping faster. It even went faster when he gripped my hand tighter. I reacted immediately to it and pulled my hand from his grip.

“mianhae.. I didn’t mean to” he said to apologize

“it’s fine..”

“So.. uhm. Your job as my bodyguard is done, you’re my girlfriend now.”

“Mwo?”

“I mean, pretend girlfriend”

“owhh..but.”

“what’s the but??”

“I don’t know how to be a girldfriend to a guy...” I said then he started to laugh.
