Kyuhyun sits in a corner of the bar, watching the guests enter the venue. Minho and Jonghyun were chatting beside him, while the other four trainees went to tune their instruments.

Butterflies were gathering in Kyuhyun’s stomach. It has been nine months since he sang in front of an audience at a singing competition. Furthermore, the guests today were all professionals in the music industry.

“Hyung hyung, is that the composer who came for our monthly evaluation?” Minho nudged Kyuhyun out of his daze.

Kyuhyun looked into the direction that Minho was pointing towards.

He could hardly recognize the composer.

The composer had dyed his hair blond, the long fringe coming down smoothly from the right side and covering his eyebrows. The dark eye bags and stubble were all gone from the fair face. His features were so defined that it looked chiseled and his lips were pursed into a slight pout. He was no longer in his baggy sports suit, but a dark blue collared dress shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. For the bottom half, he was dressed in sleek light-turquoise denims, emphasizing his round, filling .

Wai-tt. What? Why am I looking at his ?!

“He looks prettier than a girl, right?” Ryeowook’s voice came from behind Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun stood up with Minho and Jonghyun, and bowed to Ryeowook.

“Yeah… He looks so…pretty.” Kyuhyun couldn’t find any word to describe the composer. “Totally different from the last two times when I saw him.”

“Siwon hyung made it compulsory for everyone to come and Heechul hyung nagged at him since three days ago to dress up and make sure he looks fine. I didn’t expect his blond hair though.” Ryeowook walked towards the composer when he waved at him, leaving Kyuhyun staring at the composer.

“Aren’t you staring a bit too much, hyung?” Minho waved his hand in front of Kyuhyun’s face.

“Interested?” Jonghyun teased.

Kyuhyun turned to Jonghyun and slapped his arm.
“Ouch, hyung! I need to dance later, how can you injure me now?” Jonghyun acted as though his shoulder dislocated and Minho played along, patting him.

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes at them and looked for Sungmin again in the crowd. It was easy to find him with that bright blond hair.
Who is he? A genius composer and even with such good looks? How could the one he loved leave such an outstanding guy?

Kyuhyun was more intrigued than ever and strengthened his determination at discovering the secret behind the song.

As the show was starting soon, Ryeowook led Sungmin to one of their company’s tables, right beside the trainees’ table. He smiled at the trainees who stood to greet him and searched for Kyuhyun among the few trainees.

Where did that Kyuhyun brat go?

“Hyung, you seriously look stunning with that blond hair!” Zhoumi grinned at Sungmin, praising him.

“Thank you, Zhou Mi… Shindong picked the colour for me when I fell asleep at the salon and I was totally shocked after I woke up. It’s a bit too bright…” Sungmin’s voice faded.

“Nahh, you look perfect, Ming!” Yesung reassured him.

A slight pink painted Sungmin’s face as he blushed in shyness.
