There are two types of virtues: strength and gain. A strength virtue is a characteristic that we possess already. A gain virtue is a characteristic that we as individuals need to work on. My strength virtues include committment, confidence, cooperation, courage, creativity, determination, detachment, flexibility and perseverance. My gain virtues vary from gentleness, patience, service and tact. After being introduced to such a topic, we were assigned to create a nametag, with our name and a strength or gain virtue attached. Virtues are gifts of character and something that we must sustain through the entirety of our lives in order to be content and emotionally successful.
