1 Month Later

"Dad! Dad! That's not how you do it!"

Jihae reached over and tried to untie the knot on her dad's fishing line.

"See, watch me."

Jihae threw her hook into the water.

Her dad grumbled under his breath and tried copying Jihae.

"You know, i used to be so good at fishing."

Jihae laughed. "Oh really? I HIGHLY doubt that."

"You don't believe me? Let's see who'll catch a fish first. Then we'll see who's laughing."

Jihae grinned. "Is that a challange i hear? Okay, whoever catches a fish first buys the other person dinner."

Jihae's dad chuckled. "You're on."

Jihae realised she had no bait left and had to go and get more.

"i'll be right back. Don't start without me okay?"

Jihae quickly got up and ran to the nearby shop.

While she was running, she saw someone standing on the edge of a cliff, looking out into the water.

"Hey.. That's not safe."

Jihae ran towards the figure and started calling out.

"Sir! It's not safe! You shouldn't stand there!"

The figure slowly turned around and looked back at her.

Jihae couldn't see properly because of all the wind and continued to run towards the person.

"Excuse me! Please, come away from the edge! it's dangerous!"

As she got closer, the figure started to become more clear.

As it got more clear, her pace started to slow down until she completely stopped.

"Jihae..."

Jihae couldn't take her eyes away from the person.

"What.. are you doing here?"

The person looked at Jihae straight in the eyes.

"I've come to get you back."

Jihae slowly took a step back from the sudden shock.

"Why are you here..?"

Jihae kept talking steps back away from the person.

Am i seeing things?

The person ran up the Jihae and grabbed onto her wrist.

"I'm not letting you go. I'm not going to make the same mistake."

Have i finally gone crazy?

Jihae slowly lifted her hand and touched his cheek.

"It.. feels real."

The person smiled.

"I AM real.."

Jihae dropped her hand and frowned.

"Why are you here? Why-"

The person quickly pulled Jihae into a hug before she could say anything.

"Saranghae."

Jihae stood there in shock and couldn't respond.

" I can't stop thinking about you. Everday. Every second. of my life."

Jihae still didn't know how to respond.

"I know i've done so many things to you and caused you so much pain. And i'm sorry. I should of stayed in Korea instead of leaving to America. From the first moment i saw you, i knew i couldn't leave you alone. I think.. i can never leave you alone."

The person slowly pulled away from the hug and looked at Jihae.

"So can we.. start again?"

"I.. Ah.. You.."

He smiled and slowly hugged Jihae again.

"Hi, i'm Jinki."

Jihae couldn't stop her tears from coming out and hugged Jinki back.

"I'm Jihae."
