It was the night of the party and Yena and Jihae were over at Yena's house.

Jihae was sitting down on Yena's bed watching her get ready.

"Never knew Jonghyun would ask you." Jihae laughed lightly.

"Me too.. It was kinda weird. And forced." Yena grumbled.

Yena grabbed her earings and and started putting them on.

"And you, hurry up and change! We only have an hour."

Jihae got up and walked over to her shopping bag.

Jihae pulled out her dress and just stared at it.

"Seriously?" Jihae looked at Yena through the reflection of the mirror.

"What?" Yena innocently looked at her. "It's cuteee~"

Jihae rolled her eyes and laughed.

Jihae quickly changed into the dress and turned around to look at Yena.

"So.. How does it look?"

Yena spun around and grinned.

"Lovely."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

Yena got up and walked over to Jihae.

She fixed the dress up abit and added a gold bracelet to her wrist.

"Now it's perfect." Yena smiled and squished Jihae's cheek.

"Time to makeup!" Yena sang and pulled Jihae towards the mirror.

"Woah, make up? Nu-uh." Jihae flung her hands onto her face so that Yena couldn't do anything.

Yena pulled Jihae's hands away. "Don't be like that."

"Do i have to?"

"Well duh, this is for a formal occasion."

Jihae frowned and sighed.

"Well what if you did it for .. JINKI." Yena grinned evily.

Jihae's eyes grew wide open but quickly changed her face expression.

"I don't know what your talking about."

"You know EXACTLY what i'm talking about."

"Are you gonna do the make up or not?" Jihae glared at Yena.

"I'm on it!" Yena quickly grabbed her eyeliner.

Jihae and Yena got out of the car and walked towards the huge hall.

Everyone was dressed nicely and some even overdressed.

Everytime Yena spotted a hot guy, she would grab onto Jihae and start squealing like a fangirl.

"Oh my. I never knew HE would look so good in a suit." Yena practically started drooling.

"Yena, you're embarrasing yourself." Jihae looked bored and walked towards the staircase.

Yena glared at her and followed her.

When Jihae and Yena reached the top of the stairs, someone called out to her.

Jihae turned around and saw Minho, Jonghyun and Kibum coming up the stairs.

Jihae broke into a grin.

When Jonghyun saw Yena, he couldn't help but continue staring.

But Yena wasn't looking at Jonghyun.

"Minho! You look great!"

Minho smiled and patted Yena on the back.

"You too, Yena."

Jonghyun glared at them both and pushed Minho aside.

"Back off a little." Jonghyun whispered under his breath.

Minho smiled innocently and walked inside.

Kibum came up to Jihae and smiled.

"Good thing i made Yena choose that dress, you look nice."

"What do you mean, you made Yena choose it?"

"She couldn't decide on which one, so i chose it for you. Aren't i awesome?"

Jihae laughed.

"Yeah, whatever."

"Anyway! Let's go inside, it's freezing out here!" Kibum placed Jihae's hand on his arm and they both walked in.

As soon as they were inside, all they could hear was loud music and everyone chatting loudly.

They spotted their table and went to sit down.

"Where's Jinki?" Yena asked while looking around.

"He went to go pick his partner up."

Jihae stopped moving and slowly looked at her hands.

Yena glanced over at Jihae with a worried look on her face.

Kibum saw what happened and couldn't help but feel curious.

"Jihae, come outside with me for a second. I need to ask you something."

Kibum got up and grabbed onto Jihae's wrist.

Once they were outside they walked over to where people weren't around.

"Is everything okay?"

Jihae leaned against the wall.

"Of course, why wouldn't it be?"

Kibum shrugged.

"I dunno, your face seems to be, you know, like this." Kibum pulled a sad face and started making fun of Jihae.

Jihae couldn't help but laugh.

"I don't look like that."

Kibum nodded. "Oh yes you do."

Kibum slowly walked over to Jihae and stood next to her.

"I know you like Jinki."

Jihae sighed and shook her head.

"Kibum-ah, i don't think of Jinki that way."

"You don't?"

Jihae hesitated abit before answering.

"I .. don't"

Kibum was quite for awhile but soon started laughing.

"Dude, you don't need to lie to me. I KNOW."

This time Jihae didn't say anything.

"I know that the others don't see it but i do."

Kibum looked over at Jihae and smiled.

Jihae smiled back. "Let's go back inside."

When Jihae and Kibum reached the table, they saw Jinki sitting down.

Jihae couldn't help but smile when she realised his partner was next to him.

Sojung. (Chapter 20)

Jihae's smile instantly went away and she quietly sat down.

Kibum met eyes with Yena and they both looked over at Jinki and Sojung.

Suddenly the music started to die down and the MC walked on stage.

"Welcome everyone! I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as i am!"

Everyone laughed at the MC's sarcasm.

"The food will be coming out now so .. HAPPY EATING!"
