"Jihae! Hurry up and come eat breakfast!" Her mum called out from the kitchen.

Jihae sighed and slowly tried getting up but suddenly felt a pain in her stomach.

She winced and grabbed onto her stomach.

".. not again." Jihae muttered under her breath.

Her mum suddenly walked in and saw Jihae in pain.

"Sweetie? Is something wrong?" Her mum rushed over to her side.

Jihae slowly looked up at her mum but didn't say anything.

Mum..?

Her pain started to grow bigger.

Slowly her mum started to disappear.

Mum?

MUM!

Jihae tried screaming out to her but nothing would come out of .

Her vision started to go blurry then went blank.

Bzzt . Bzzt . Bzzt .

Jihae opened her eyes and saw her phone vibrating.

She doesn't remember much after falling asleep in the car ride.

She looked around her room, feeling tired and lazy.

Jihae grumbled and picked up her phone.

"What?"

"That's not a nice way to greet your friend early in the morning."

"Hi Yena."

"That's more like it. Anyway, where are you? Schools about to start."

Jihae quickly looked at the time.

8:00am

I'm dead.

"I'm on my way."

Jihae shut her phone and was about to get out of bed when suddenly she could feel pain in her stomach.

Not again.

Jihae grabbed onto her stomach and slowly laid back down.

She tried getting up again but it was no use.

Maybe falling asleep will make it better..

Jihae closed her eyes and tried falling asleep.

"Where's Jihae?" Taemin asked for the 5th time.

Yena shrugged her shoulders.

"You should know where your bestfriend is."

Yena glared at Taemin.

"I'm not her personal stalker, you know. I can't know where she is every single second of her life."

"True that." This time Taemin shrugged his shoulders.

Yena texted Jihae again since she wasn't replying.

Yena started feeling abit worried since Jihae replies to all her texts, even if it was just, OK.

"Maybe she's sick."

Taemin looked at Yena.

"Sick? Are you sure? Does porridge help when your sick?" Taemin whispered.

"Why are you asking so many questions!" Yena whispered back.

They were suddenly cut off by the teacher and decided to keep quiet during the rest of the lesson.

After school finished, Taemin decided to go visit Jihae's home, since she lived all by herself.

Yena and Taemin were walking to the train station and were soon joined by Kibum & Jonghyun.

"How come you're catching our train today?" Kibum asked.

"I'm going to visit Jihae."

"Jihae?"

Taemin nodded and flipped open his phone.

He texted Jihae, telling her that he was coming over.

But no reply.

"Maybe she really is sick." Taemin muttered to himself.

Taemin slowly stopped walking.

"You guys go ahead. I needa buy something."

Taemin took off the other direction before the others could say anything and ran for the korean groceries.

"Porridge.. porridge.. Where is it?"

Taemin carefully looked around the shelves.

"Ah! Found it!"

He grabbed the most expensive ready-to-make packet of porridge and quickly bought it.

He barely caught the train and ran all the way to Jihae's apartment.

He realised he didn't have a key for her door and knocked really loudly on her door.

No one came to open it.

Taemin wouldn't give up and kept knocking on the door.

Finally it slowly opened and Jihae's dead face appeared.

"What are you doing here.." Jihae barely said.

"I'm.. here to take care of you." Taemin hesitated at first but pushed himself to go inside.

Taemin slowly took Jihae back to bed.

"Just sleep while i make porridge for you okay?"

Jihae slowly nodded and fell asleep again.

Taemin calmly looked at her and smiled.

He went back to the kitchen and studied the instructions on the packet.

His smile started to disappear.

"Well... I'm screwed."

Taemin stretched his arms and sighed with relief.

"Finally."

Taemin smiled at his well made porridge.

He moved the bowl onto a tray and quietly walked over to Jihae's room.

He opened the door and saw Jihae sound asleep.

He placed the tray onto her table and walked over to Jihae.

She was sweating like crazy.

Taemin quickly went into the bathroom and wetted a small towel with water and ran back to Jihae's room.

He lightly dabbed the towel on her forehead and saw that she started sweating less.

"Maybe i needa change her clothes." Taemin looked around for a different top.

He soon realised that he was the only one in the room.

He stopped looking and started turning bright red.

"Stop it, Taemin Lee." Taemin shook his head and ignored his thoughts.

He looked back at Jihae and remembered the time when he first saw her sleeping.

"She's not drooling this time." Taemin slightly chuckled to himself.

He continued dabbing the towel on her forehead.

I just realised.. Why am i doing all this?

Hmmm

Why else, stupid?

Taemin watched her breathe slowly.

Maybe cause i'm madly in love with her.
