2 Cats, 1 ManYongguk has two cats.
“AYE GET OFF.”
He’s not a cat lover and he hates it when people ask him why he’s got cats, and two at that.
“You scratch that curtain, I’m going to scratch your face.”
So he’s going to say it for the last time.
It was supposed to be just a normal day when he would sleep until twelve in the afternoon with only a pair of track pants on and wake up to look for milk in the fridge but that day obviously was not normal. There were knocks at the door at 10am which Yongguk notes with a very frustrated and annoyed grumble on his mouth as he goes to open the door. He wished he hadn’t opened the door.
Outside his apartment was his sister, standing there with a smile on her face until she proceeded to reprimand him about waking up late. “What’s this?” Yongguk grumbles, pointing to the large box in her arms, which led to a huge smile on her face. Grinning, she pushed the cardboard to Yongguk who shifted it slightly in his hands, noticing the weight inside the container. Seeing the disgruntled expression on Yongguk’s face, his sister went on to explain.
A few days ago, she saw ‘these two cute little things’ and decided to bring them home but who knows, her boyfriend was allergic! She didn’t want him to die of a swollen windpipe or anything of that sort, neither does she want to be irresponsible, so she said, “Yongguk, please take care of the cats, they’re yours now.”
There was nothing else Yongguk could say when his sister took off with a grin and a wave and that woman sure can run, he thought when she disappeared, leaving him standing at his doorstep, carrying a box, and only in his track pants.
So, that was the sad story of abandonment and dumped responsibility.
But Yongguk really doesn’t fancy cats. He’s not a cat-lover.
But then, there’s this thing about morals. So, Yongguk’s a er.
“Achoo!” He felt something tickling his nose, and lets out a loud sneeze. Now he’s completely awake from his little snooze. “What the hell do you want!”
“Before you actually yell at me, look at the clock.” Yongguk narrows his eyes at the half-cat giving him a sidelong glance from the other end of the couch, waving his long dark tail in front of his face teasingly with a subtle smirk on his face. One of the reasons why Yongguk doesn’t fancy cats is because they are arrogant and scheming little things. Yongguk scratches his head and sits up on the couch, taking a look at the clock hanging at the top of the wall before him.
“It’s 2pm already and you haven’t fed us. Tsk tsk.”
Yongguk glares at his pet cat, Himchan, when he comes closer to him, brushing that maroon tail on his neck like a duster with those gleaming eyes sparkling slyly. Yongguk grabs the long tail tickling him and squeezes hard, earning himself a smirk when the feline shrieks at him while trying to loosen his tightening fist.
“STOP, YOU’RE BREAKING IT!!”
“Teaches you not to diss your own master.”
“You’re my owner, not my master.”
“What’s the big difference?” Yongguk scowls at the semi-feline with the maroon cat-ears poking out of coffee-brown hair and loosens his grip around the tail, much to his cat’s relief.
“A master controls his pet. You don’t control me. You can’t.”
“Oh really.” Yongguk rolls his eyes at the ceiling as he makes his way into the kitche
