“Hey Jen.” Lalice droned as she stepped into the kitchen.

“Hey! I’ve warmed up some milk. Want some?” Jennie asked. After dinner she was chirpy and happy. However, Lalice was a bit under the weather that night.

“Sure, I need the toilet first.” She said as she dragged her feet to the kitchen toilet.

Jennie brought to glasses of warm milk and sat down with Lalice in the living room. She noticed Lalice had a sullen expression.

“What’s wrong?” Jennie asked.

Lalice sighed. “When are we going to debut, Jennie?”

“That is a question I ask myself every day.” Jennie responded as she sipped on her warm milk.

“We’ve been working so hard for so long and now we’re still trainees.” She whimpered.

“You’ve never really talked about this before, Lalice. What’s wrong?” Jennie asked and she took a gulp of the warm milk.

“You remember I told you one of my dance group member got into JYP?”

“Yeah… that BamBam guy. The one that looks like a kid.”

“Yeah… He is debuting next January.”

Jennie almost spit out her drink. “W-what?! That fast?”

Lalice hopelessly nodded and drank the milk.

“I really thought I’d debut before him. I’d thought we’d see each other at the broadcasting stations. I guess I was wrong.”
