Silent Angel II

2

Hyesu flipped her pages, and groaned out loud. Those words and quotes, it was simply hard to memorize with that Suho in her mind.

That awkward hug Suho did, and how he actually mistook Hyesu as his dead girlfriend, really made her feel creeped out and also it was like she was dreaming.

She shuddered at the thought of it.

How could an ex celebrity suddenly popped out with an underground relationship with a bodyguard. And confessed what he had done? She had no idea an ex celebrity's life would be like this.

"Hyesu! Wake up from your daze, school just ended, wanna grab something?" a girl flicked her forehead and asked. Hyesu looked up and kindly shook her head. "I'll go later."

She rested her chin in her palm, then looked at her textbook. All in Japanese words. She sighed and closed her book, then placing it in her school bag and walk out of the classroom.

After that day with that ex celebrity which she still had not remembered his name but only his face, her mind was just filled with questions and also Suho.

She hadn't met him for days after that awkward incident they had and she wondered how he was coping along with Hye Min's death.

She walked across the streets aimlessly, when a motorbike just drove past her. Only just inches away and she would be run down by that driver. She was being dragged backwards, which avoided the accident, and when she looked up, she saw Suho.

"It's you.." Hyesu murmured and Suho smiled warmly, nodding his head.

“Let’s grab something to eat, I’m hungry,” he said and she immediately nodded her head.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, digging in into her lunch and sighed contently. "Taking pictures," Suho shrugged, while Hyesu grew interested and also confused as she placed her bowl down and look up at him. "Why do I always see you with your camera? And why do you keep taking pictures?" Hyesu asked.

He smiled and chuckled. "I don't know. It just reminds me of Hye Min. I wanted to paint, but didn't have the materials and not really a good painter, so I just took up photography." He looked at his camera and touched every corner of it.

Hyesu grinned and nodded her head. "You're in luck then. I major in design and technology. I can maybe help you."

"Ah yes, I just found out that actually I don't really know a lot about you. Why don't you tell me about your family?" Suho asked, rubbing his hands together as blew hot air into his palms as he changed the subject.

Hyesu smiled softly and looked down. It's been a long time since she remembered about her parents. Suho could feel the tension in the air and he immediately apologized. "Sorry maybe I should ask that-"

"It's alright. Anyway I can easily dig up about your past using google and you won't be able to find mine on the Internet, and that's not really a fair deal. So I'll just tell you, anyway it's a matter of time. It can also be considered as remembering my past," Hyesu sighed. "It's been a long time since I looked back at my parents. If you didn't ask me, I could have actually forgotten about my parents," she joked.

She crossed her legs and looked out of the restaurant. Seeing snowflakes fall and landing on the icy cold ground that was covered in snow. That was her feelings.
"Actually, I can't remember much. But I know why my father names me Hyesu. Because it stands for longevity.” She smiled at the thought of it.

"Appa didn't want my life to be so short like his. Getting cancer and suffering throughout. And at the end? He left us. He had no idea how sad we were, no idea how omma suffered because of him, no idea..." her voice trailed off, and Suho softened. He suddenly remembered Hye Min. It was exactly the same feeling. Losing the person that took up almost his entire heart, and when she left, it was like having his heart to lose his functions and almost led to death.

"But that's all in the past. Just like how you can put Hye Min in the past."

"You're wrong," Suho said and Hyesu blinked. "You're wrong. I've never put away Hye Min. I lied. I can never do that," Suho said, his gaze fixed on his plate.

Hyesu looked at him concernly, and waved her hand in his face. "Hey.. You aright?"

Suho snapped out of his gaze and looked at her. "Yeah.. Yeah I'm fine. I'm fine." He forced out a smile and took a scoop of his food and swallowed it down. "Then what about your studies? You're a Korean right? Why are you studying in Japan?"

Hyesu rolled her eyes and shook her head in amusement. "This is called transfer student. I'm staying here for a year then going back to Korea. I guess after this coming holiday and I'll go back. What about you? When are you going back?" she asked.

He shrugged. "Going around to take photos of Japan."

Hyesu clasped her hands together and grinned. "Well you're in luck. The holiday's next week. I can bring you around Japan," she said, while Suho hesitated. "Relax. It's free of charge." She patted his shoulder and sent an assuring smile.

Suho smiled and nodded. "Alright then, if it's convenient for you."

"Then it's settled." She giggled.

Suho smiled back. He suddenly felt warmth overwhelming him. He felt Hye Min so close to him. He felt HyeSu was Hye Min, and Hyemin was HyeSu.
He felt everything was back like five years ago when HyeMin was still with him. But that was just his feelings. They weren't real, at all.

Hyesu’s determined and confident that within the holiday of hers, she is going to help Suho forget about the past and move on.

When Hyesu got back to the hostel, she sunk into her chair and sighed, then slightly smiled at the thought of touring around Japan.

To be honest she herself didn't explore Japan that well, and now she leads a mini tour with only one tourist, it's going to be fun for her.

She diverted her attention towards her drawing, when she smiled at her design. It was simplicity and purity overwhelming that design.

She drew it all by herself, and she was glad that the design was chosen to be made. Even though it was only produced in Korea and only had thirty products made, she felt contented and happy.
Never once had she made such a big accomplishment, and soon she is going to have a bigger accomplishment.

"Suho? Where are you? I still don't see you at the lobby," Hyesu asked as she called Suho while she stood outside in the lobby of the hotel, seeing tourists going in and out of the hotel while she waited for Suho to come down.
She wore a blue scarf that wrapped her neck warmly which fitted her leather jacket and Bermudas.

Suho came running down with his camera as he bowed and apologized, his eyebrows raised in apology.

They went to different spots in Osaka as after all, they couldn't tour the entire Japan within a day and Hyesu still isn't familiar with Japan.

"Remember this place? I've met you here for the first time in this park, and we actually got quite an awkward situation," she said as she blew hot air into her gloves and rub it, and she chuckled at the thought of it, while Suho smiled.

"I remembered this was the place where I thought I saw Hye Min.." Suho muttered and he softened. He missed Hye Min so much. He held onto so many memories of her, and everything was stored in his heart and the ring. He also thought, having Hyesu by his side, it seems like having Hye Min with him.

His only connection with Hye Min.

They sat down on the bench, admiring the sun as it slowly goes down, and hides behind the mountains. Hyesu laughed and she swung her legs back and forth. Suho couldn't help but imagine that was Hye Min he was spending time with. Her actions totally resembled the way Hye Min was with him.

Even though this was Japan, but no doubt had he watched the sunset together with Hye Min the other day on the hill, he couldn't help but softly smile.

"Do you know, sitting here in this bench is what I always do during the weekends. Having to watch the sunset can drive all of your problems away, and you can just relax," Hyesu said and smiled then rubbing her hands again.

"Cold isn't it?"

Hye Su grinned widely, as she took out a pair of earmuffs. "Ta Dan! I'm always prepared whenever I go out." She giggled and put it on, their watch the sunset. Suho shook his head in amusement. "You're quite prepared. Unlike Hye Min." Suho thought of her innocence and purity.

He took out his camera and started taking photographs of the sunset, his smiled growing wider when the shots were getting better.

Hye Su smiled and took out another pair of earmuffs, then put it on Suho. "Here you go."

Suho looked at her, blinking at her and smiled. "You even prepared an extra?"

Hye Su nodded her head proudly. "Of course! I must serve my one and only customer with care, then when they return they would definitely introduce some customers to me. I can earn some quick bucks. I'm quite tight on money lately."

Suho shook his head. "Well I don't really have any friends, only EXO.."

Hye Su glanced at him. "Ah yes, don't you miss EXO? After all you've been with them for years."

"Of course. I'm going visit them right after I go back to Korea. You wanna tag along? You can get some autographs from them, and sell it," Suho said, wiggling his eyebrows at her and she immediately nodded her head. "If there's any quick bucks I can earn, just tell me. I'll definitely be there."

"But you're still young and you have the scholarship. Why do you need to earn money?" Suho asked, concerned while Hye Su bit her lip. "Well, everyone has their own reasons, and I have mine too. Just too personal I can't disclose it," she replied and broke eye contact with Suho, concentrating on the sun that was slowly setting, and the sky turning red and orange.

From this angle, Suho couldn't make it out whether it was Hye Min or Hye Su. There was something that made Hye Min extraordinary, different from Hye Su, and also one thing that made Hye Su stand out from others, and also standing out from Hye Min.

She yawned. "Ah yes, if there's a chance, I can show you around my university before I return to Korea. And can also show you how stress I am with my work."

Suho softly smiled. Now that was something Hyemin wasn't like this.

She just realized, Suho hardly laughs. Though he smiles, but sometimes his smiles were being forced out, while laughs can’t be forced. Hyesu even uses her jokes to make Suho laugh and giggle, but it seems like it’s futile. The only medicine is Hye Min.

*Up till now, Suho just can’t let go, poor thing.* She sighed sadly.

She slowly drifted off to sleep, her head drooped down. Suho could then see, she was different from Hye Min. Stronger than Hye Min.
