Mino waited for the sliding doors to open with bated breath. What he did not expect was for Taehyun to be the first out the door. As soon as he saw Mino, he abandoned his luggage and came running towards him, hurtling himself in the air into Mino’s arms. When their lips met, for the first time in so long, Mino thought he heard the sound of people clapping. He ignored it, chalking up to his romantic comedy dreams and concentrated on welcoming Taehyun with his whole body, mouth, tongue, teeth and all.

“You’re really back!” Mino couldn’t believe it. He was holding Taehyun in his arms again. He felt solid, real. Not an apparition, obviously.

Taehyun was smiling at him through weepy eyes. “Did you doubt me?” he asked, pulling him in for another kiss. Mino couldn’t let go of his lover’s body, he needed this too much. It had been far too long.

“I would always be worried,” Mino replied, after they broke for air. “I could never take anything about you for granted.”

“My world,” Taehyun said, looking at him like he was the only thing that mattered in existence.

“My universe,” Mino replied, looking just as smitten and refusing to be outdone, because that was what Taehyun was. They both laughed out loud, realising how cheesy they sounded, It didn’t matter though, because they were there now, together, and Mino only needed to take out the square velvet box in his pocket to seal their fates together forever.
