Like I have predicted, Misaki already knew what happened. My pathetic acting ability has become the most hilarious thing during English subject and I’m currently dreading to see Toushiro. Misaki wasn’t even helping; whenever that topic comes up she’ll end up laughing at me.

            “Oh c’mon Tehru-chan. It’s not too bad.” Misaki laughed.

            “No, it’s tragic.” I sighed.

            “People will eventually forget about it.” Misaki said offering me a creampuff.

            “I hope so.”

            “I don’t think that’s the main reason you’re depressed.” she guessed.

            I raised my eyebrow at her. “And what would be the main reason?”

            “I think you’re more depressed thinking about what Toushiro feel.” she said in a confident tone.

            I winced. She hit a nerve. “Why would I care about what he feels?”

            She looked at me for a long time. “Tehru-chan you’re really a bad liar.”

            “He will be really mad at me.” I said giving up the pretense.

            “Why would he?”

            “I just smack him in front of everyone.” I pointed out.

            “It’s not on purpose right?” she asked and I shook my head vigorously. “Then he will not be mad.”

            “How can you be so sure?” I asked.

            “I think Toushiro-kun is really kind.” Misaki said brushing her hands together.

            “He is.” I agreed absentmindedly.

            That day is been a blur because of our upcoming activities. We will be having a charity work for an orphanage and a medical rotation in our school. Our seminars were loaded and I’m finding it hard to concentrate on other things.

            “Ne Tehru-chan, I can’t come with you today.” Misaki announced.

            “Why?” I asked puzzled.

            “We have a practice today.” she said.

            “Oh right.” I said momentarily distracted because I saw Toushiro.

            Misaki looked back and saw Toushiro. To my surprise she called him and I restrained myself from dragging Misaki away.

             “Konnichiwa Toushiro-kun.” Misaki beamed while I pretend to fix my bag.

             “Hello.” Toushiro replied on his musical voice.

             “I’m having trouble with Tehru.” Misaki told Toushiro and I wanted to sink on the floor.

             “Why?” Toushiro said in a completely different tone. A tone I recognized but wouldn’t imagine hearing from him, concern.

              “She’s afraid that you’re angry at her.” Misaki reported.

              I closed my eyes hard and pretended to fix my bag when I heard Toushiro reply. “I’m not mad at her, why would I?”

              I looked up at this and I instantly met his eyes. “You’re not?”

              He shook his head clearly amused by this. “Though an explanation why you hit me will be fine.”

              “I’m just nervous.” I struggled to reply. “I’m a bad actress.”

              “Like I thought.” he replied and Misaki laughed.

              I scowled at them. “Whatever.”

              I said my goodbye to Misaki while Toushiro went in the architecture department. I smiled at myself, relieved he’s not mad at me. I saw Haku standing in the school gates and I approached him.

               “Haku, what are you doing here?” I asked.

               “Tehru-chan, I’m waiting for you.” he said smiling.

               I frowned. “Why?”

               “I uh need to ask you something.” he answered nervously.

               “What is it?” I asked.

               “Do you have anthing to do tomorrow after school?” he asked expectantly.

               I thought for awhile. “No, I have nothing to do tomorrow. Why?”

               He held up two tickets, movie tickets to be exact. “I’m wondering if I can ask you to go with me on a movie.”

               “That will be fun, I’ll call Misaki.” I said eagerly and I took out my phone.

               “Uh actually there are only two tickets. For you and me.” he smiled awkwardly.

                I stopped myself from dialing Misaki’s number and looked at him. “You mean we’re going out to the movies?”

                 He nodded. “Just the two of us.”

                 “Uh I don’t know, it will be much fun if Misaki could come.” I told him. I don’t want to think how Misaki would react to this.

                  “I promise she can come next time. It’s just that this is the last two tickects.” he explained.

                  “Maybe next time then.” I answered. I’m not about to go with Haku in a movie alone, Misaki will be very sad.

                  “Oh alright.” he said his shoulders slumping a little.

                  “I’m sorry.” I said.

                  He waved his hand. “It’s okay. I guess it will be a lot fun if Misaki could come.”

                  I left him there feeling a little bad and guilty at the same time. I turned down a friends offer and I hope Misaki wouldn’t know that Haku invited me out. She will be really upset.
