You held your breath as you carefully stuck your head out from your hiding place behind one of the thick trees. You could hear the footsteps come closer, and as soon as you saw the silhouette, you drew back and tried not to move. Unwillingly your breath quickened as the footsteps stopped on the other side of the thick trunk. You quickly raised your hand and placed it in front if your mouth, but it didn’t still your heart. Your heart started to beat faster and faster, all the way to the point where you feared that he would hear your heartbeats. As the footsteps started to disappear, you let out the air you had held inside of you, but you still waited a little longer before looking.

The forest was empty. Nothing but a few birds and squirrels in the trees, except from that; nothing. You let out a sigh of relief, and a smile started to form on your face. You hadn’t been found. He had been so close that you could hear his heavy breath, but he hadn’t found you. You were just about to turn back, when a hand landed in front of your mouth, and someone pulled you backwards.

You tried to scream, and tried to get out of the tight grip you were in, but the other person was too strong. As your back hit the other person’s chest and a head was placed next to yours, you stopped moving.

“Found you.” A male voice whispered. “And by the way you’re not very good at this game.”

You rolled your eyes and carefully elbowed him; the only response you got was a laugh.

“Well just look around you then! There aren’t exactly many good hiding places here.” You said with another sigh, in which you earned another laugh and a peck on your cheek.

“Well at least look at the bright side of it. You were the last one to be found. Even though you at hiding.”

“Luhan you idiot!” You called and tried to punch his shoulder, which you missed as he moved away. As he just started to laugh, you rolled your eyes and started to walk, not even bothering to see if he followed. You didn’t even walk for a minute before you felt him intertwine his fingers with yours. You couldn’t help but smile as you felt his hand in yours.

The others had already gathered at the meeting place, ready for the next round. You were playing a twist of Hide and Seek. The rules were simple; everyone gathered at a meeting place. Then you would mix a stock of cards, one card for each player. Then you would all take one card each and close your eyes. One would start to run and ten seconds later the next person would run, and so it would continue. The second last person would tap the last persons shoulder and then run. When the last person was about to run, he would have to call out that he would start to run, then after ten seconds, everyone would flip their cards, and the one who got the card with the black spot would be the one to look for the others. And when everyone had been found and gathered at the meeting place the next round would begin.

As the rules said you picked a card and closed your eyes, when your turn came, you opened your eyes and started to run. You didn’t bother to turn around before you ran, so you just ran straight forward, and into the forest. You didn’t look back, and just kept running in search of a hiding place. You found something that resembled a cave, and a smile spread on your face as you ran over. You crept inside and had just settled when someone tapped your shoulder. You turned your head and looked into the face of Luhan. 

“My hiding place.” He said and smiled as he used his head to point towards the exit. “Find your own.”

“Idiot.” You said, though you couldn’t help but smile a little as he pecked your lips and replied. “Love you too.”

You came out, and just then you heard Suho call out, which meant that all of you would flip your cards in ten seconds. You then looked around quickly before you started to run again. You knew that you would have to hide really fast, as the one who got the black spot would soon start to look for the others.

Luckily you found a big pile of rocks that had rolled down the hill above, and now just laid there in a big pile. You smiled and ran over before you hid yourself on the backside of it. One of the scariest parts about this game was that you didn’t know where the others were, who the seeker was, and therefore not which direction he came from. You would just have to hope that he came from the other side of the pile, and not the side you were on. As you settled down, you reached ten in your head and flipped the card. The card was completely blank and you let out a sigh of relief.

You really hated to be the seeker; it was so much more fun to hide, then to seek. And usually when you when you were the seeker, it seemed like everyone had found extra hard places to hide, and it really annoyed you. As you didn’t have to worry about it, you slumped down with your back against the rocks, and started to play with your card.

You didn’t know how much time had passed as you suddenly heard footsteps on the other side of the boulder. You held the card tightly between your fingers as well as you tried not to make your breath too audible. The footsteps stopped, and you could barely hear the sound of sniffing. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, before the feeling of shock hit you.

“We’re coming for you”

The words from your dream echoed inside of your head. It had been five days since you woke up from that dream, you had been so worried the first two days, but after that, you had started to forget about it, and now you silently cursed yourself for forgetting something like that. You shut your eyes tightly and took a deep breath before counting to ten, and opening them again. The sound was gone, and it seemed like you were alone once again.

You counted to ten once again, and as there were still no sounds, you looked around on the other side of the rocks. To your relief there was nothing there. You let out a sigh of relief and stood up before you walked to the other side of the pile and towards the cave where you had last seen Luhan. You didn’t like to admit it for yourself, but were feeling slightly scared and just wanted to be close to someone, and as you didn’t know where the others were, you just hoped that Luhan didn’t get the black spot and were still in the cave.

You crawled in and smiled when you saw the silhouette of the boy. “Luhan” You whispered as you crawled over to him.

“Please don’t tell me you’re this rounds seeker?” He replied, as he crawled to meet you.

“Of course not. I would have come much sooner if I were.” You chuckled. “I just didn’t want to be alone.”

He nodded and patted on the ground beside him, but as you were about to sit down, he pulled you up on his lap. You smiled and placed your hands around his neck as you pecked his lips before laying your head on his shoulder. Luhan placed his arms around you in a hug as you sat there and waited for someone to find you. It was silent, as none of you wanted to make a lot of sound in case you would be found, but it wasn’t awkward, actually you really enjoyed it.

You both sat there in the comfy silence, as you heard footsteps outside the cave. As someone blocked the light, Luhan shifted over so that his body covered you from the eyes of the person looking inside the cave.

“Luhan! Finally I found you. You have no idea how long I searched for you.” Baekhyun said as he looked inside the cave with a smile on his face. “Now get out of there and go back to the others while I find Avry.” He said before he disappeared.

“I’ll be right out!” Luhan called before turning around to you with a grin on his face. “I won’t tell him you’re here,” he whispered “I don’t think he’ll find you, but good luck.”

You nodded your head and smiled as he leaned in and kissed you, before he turned around and crawled out.

“What took you so long?” You could hear Baekhyun ask.

“My shoe got stuck on some roots” You could hear Luhan lie, before the sound of their footsteps disappeared. And so you were left alone again, and as time passed by, you started to get bored. You looked around at the roots and stones around you, but that quickly turned boring.  You thought about going outside and maybe find another hiding place, and just as you had decided to do so, you heard footsteps from outside. You went quiet, and halfway hoped that you would be found, since it started to become boring to just sit inside a small cave without anything to do. You therefor smiled a little when you heard a voice.

"Avry" 

You heard a voice call your name, and so you figured that you had been found.

“I’ll be right out.” You said, as you started to crawl out. “Have you found all the others yet?”

You didn’t get any answer, and as you crept out the opening, there was no sign of Baekhyun anywhere.

“Baek?” You asked as you looked for him. “What? But I could swear I heard someone.” Sounds from behind made you turn around and look behind you. You expected to see Baekhyun, but it wasn’t him who stood on top of the entrance. It was the wolf. It looked at you with its big yellow eyes, as it had done every time you had met.

“I can see that you’re wearing the necklace, that’s good. I’ve come to get you. We’ll be leaving right at this moment.” The words floated in the air around you, though the wolf hadn’t moved its mouth an inch.

“N-No wait.” You said as you clutched the necklace around your neck. “This can’t be real. I can’t just leave now! What about my family? My friends? My friends still think that I’m playing hide and seek, I can’t just disappear like that! They’ll get worried, and and… They don’t even know about the dream! They’ll never understand if I just disappear!”

The wolf didn’t seem to care about the words that came out of your mouth as you desperately tried to make it understand that you needed more time.

“At least let me go and explain it to them.” You said, but as the animal before you just looked at you, you realized that no matter what you said, you wouldn’t be given any other choice but to follow after where it went.

“Make the most out of the days to come, because when you leave it will be too late, and the things that were left unsaid will stay unsaid and regretted” The wolf repeated the words it had said to you in your dream as it took a step closer, and in that moment you made up your mind.

“I’m not ready” You simply said, before you turned around and ran. You ran as fast as you could; Hoping to get close enough to the others to give them a message before you were taken away for God knows how long. You could hear the wolf chase after you as you ran, but you couldn’t care less about that now. The only thing on your mind was to tell the others about the dream, and say goodbye before it was too late.

You didn’t realize that the route you were running headed too far to the left before it was too late. You stumbled over some rocks and tripped. You fell to the ground, the high speed making you roll over the ground, before you flew of the edge of the hill and towards the ground a few meters further down. And as you fell towards the ground, you screamed.

I'm sorry this update took so long, but I just have so much schoolwork right now that i didn't have time to write. I'll give you guys another update as soon as I can, okey?

And just to let you guys know, the wolf will be revealed in the next chapter or the chapter after that.
