“WHAT TEAM?!?!?!”

“WILDCATS!!!!”

Kai laughed to himself as he and Baekhyun stood in one of the lesser populated areas about the campus, tossing a basket ball between them seeing as they had nothing better to do.

Baekhyun grinned as he span and bounced the ball over to Kai, who caught it easily. He began to bounce it, moving forward as he did, making over-the-top foot movements, “Get your head in the game, Byun Baek!”

“Is that all you got, Kkamjong? Huh? Bring it!” Baekhyun chuckled at the playful glare Kai shot him over the not so liked nickname.

Kai grinned after a moment, getting slightly too cocky, and trying to do an elaborate move which resulting in the ball flying off and him tripping forward, taking Baekhyun down to the floor with him, where he landed atop of the elder, their lips crashing together just as Kai’s hands fell either side of Baekhyun’s head.

There was a brief pause as they stayed, lips locked, eyes wide, before they pulled apart and ‘ew-ed’ almost melodramatically. They got up from the floor, dusting themselves off before meeting one another’s eyes and breaking into laughter.

“That... aha, was.... seriously.... ew!!” Baekhyun giggled, “and you lost the ball... you !”

Kai’s eyes were shut tight in his fit of laughter, “Like I wanted your Chanyeol infected mouth near mine!? No thanks! And it wasn’t my fault, I tripped!” he chuckled.

“If you hadn’t been trying to show off, we’d have been fine!” Baekhyun laughed in return, slapping Kai on the back in a friendly gesture.

The two of them giggled relaxed, as they walked over to the grassy area, in which the ball had come to a standstill. They sat side-by-side, Kai holding the ball in his lap as they recovered from their bout of giggles.

“So, now that that’s done,” Baekhyun laughed, nudging Kai with his elbow as Kai said;

“And I hope it never happens again, for both our sakes”

“Yeah yeah, anyway, are you going to tell me what happened yesterday with you and Kyungsoo?” Baekhyun asked, glancing up at Kai.

Kai shrugged with a sift sigh, “Well, not a lot” he said softly, biting back a smile.

“Oh something totally happened! Tell me everything!!” Baekhyun grinned, clutching onto Kai’s upper arm in anticipation.

Kai couldn’t help but laugh, placing a hand over Baekhyun’s as he did, “Okay yeah, we talked a lot. There was a lot of yelling too, and some kissing in between. It was like, argue, kiss, talk, argue, kiss some more. But we had it all out, you know? We got all our cards and laid them on the table, plain as day. Once we’d screamed every profanity we could think of, at each other, and face a little, we worked it out and I asked him if he still loves me, he told me he did and I said I loved him back and we kissed again, but it was different that before, you know?

 “It was like, everything finally just... clicked and well, I asked him if he’d be my boyfriend” Kai smiled shyly, “so he looked at me all shy, biting his lip and everything and nodded. So I told him to say it, and he said ‘I’ll be your boyfriend’ and then he just hugged me... and yeah...”

Baekhyun couldn’t contain his delighted squeal as he pulled Kai into a tight hug, which the latter returned with the same vigour.

“I’m so happy for you Jongin” Baekhyun said softly as they pulled back from one another, lifting his hand to ruffle the younger’s hair slightly.

“Thanks hyung, but I don’t think I could have done it if it weren’t for you. I know I could have talked to any of you about these things, but I don’t know, you just seem to understand a little more, somehow... Ah,” he chuckled nervously as he ran a hand though his hair, “I sound so cheesy when I talk like this”

“Yeah you do” Baekhyun smiled, earning himself a shove from Kai, who then reached for Baekhyun’s hand and linked their fingers together.

It was a nice moment in which they could both relax, and not worry about anything else. A lot of people thought their close friendship was quite unusual due to the stark contrast in their personalities, but that’s what seemed to make it really work.

There was the soft sound of footsteps running away from near where they are, but they paid it little attention as they started to chat about anything and everything.

Kris tittered about, shifting his weight from foot to foot in his nervousness as he waited for Chanyeol to return home. He didn’t know what he was going to do, but he had to tell Chanyeol, right? He deserved to know if his boyfriend was a cheating bastard!

He’d seen it all with his own two eyes. The kiss, the laughing, the casual touches, the hand holding, that couldn’t be just innocent friendly playfulness. No, not even Xiumin and Luhan were that close.

He wondered for a moment, if Chanyeol would believe him, after everything that had happened between them lately. He hoped it wouldn’t just end it a fight again. He was only trying to do right by his best friend.

At the moment, he looked up as the sound of the door opening snapped him from his reverie.

Chanyeol walked into the room, his usual happy grin in place, “Hey Krease” he beamed, walking over and clapping Kris on the back before flopping down on his bed.

“Hey Yeol” Kris smiled, though his voice was morose, causing Chanyeol’s grin to fade slowly into a confused frown.

“What’s wrong?” Chanyeol asked softly, “You seem upset”

Kris sighed, moving around to sit on the edge of his own bed, “I have to tell you something, but you’re not going to like it” he said after a long silence.

“You’re not going to break up with me are you?!” Chanyeol gasped, bringing a hand to his heart in mock-hurt.

“Yeol, this is serious” Kris huffed, only to be ignored through Chanyeol’s giggles.

“Okay, okay” Chanyeol chuckled as he finally calmed somewhat, “What’s up, bro?”

Kris looked over Chanyeol for a moment, contemplating if telling him would actually be a good idea or not..

He didn’t know. He knew that Chanyeol loved Baekhyun with his everything, and yet he didn’t know if he could say the same on behalf of Baekhyun. Before he’d seen the incident with Kai, he would have agreed wholeheartedly that Chanyeol was the only person Baekhyun saw, but now... things weren’t as clear as Kris thought.

Still, he couldn’t just hurt his best friend like that, could he?

No, maybe he should talk to Baekhyun first, make sure this was what it looked like... he wasn’t about to lose his best friend again.

“I just wanted to say I’m glad we’re not fighting anymore...” Kris smiled, albeit a little forcefully, “I really missed you when you were mad at me”

Chanyeol beamed once again and got to his feet, he moved across the room towards Kris and dived at him, taking Kris back in a tight hug that had them both laying on the bed laughing, Chanyeol atop of Kris.

Kris laughed as he wrapped his arms tightly around Chanyeol’s waist.

“I love you lots and lots like jelly tots, hyung!” Chanyeol giggled.

Kris rolled his eyes, but smiled none the less, “Yeah, I love you too Yeol, I love you too”

They stayed like that for a while before Kris smirked and shoved Chanyeol off of him, grinning evilly as the latter fell to the floor with a loud thump.

“YAH” Chanyeol huffed from his position on the floor, whilst Kris laughed and got to his feet.

“Got to go run some errends, I’ll be back later” Kris grinned, fleeing the room, narrowly escaping the kick Chanyeol directed at him in the process.

Sehun rolled his eyes and he watched Luhan and Sulli dance around the room with one another. The two of them had really come a long way lately.

“I’m not gonna stop! Not gonna stop ‘til I get my shot!” Luhan giggled as he and Sulli held hands and skipped in a small circle around the room.

“That’s who I am, that is my plan, we’ll end up on top!” Sulli sang next before the two of them joined in together, all the while not paying attention to Sehun as he got out his phone and recorded them for future blackmailing purposes.

Sehun smiled to himself as he heard the door open. He looked over to see Chen and Xiumin walk in, both of them quirking an eyebrow at Sehun, who just shrugged in return and patted the space beside him.

Chen smiled as he walked over and plonked himself down beside Sehun, placing down a few books beside him.

“Ready to roll?” Chen asked, nudging Sehun with his elbow.

Sehun sighed, “Ready as I’ll ever be” he glanced up at Xiumin and smiled, “Hey hyung, sorry for sticking you with those two, but I really needed Chen’s help”

“It’s fine, we’ll just gossip about you two” Xiumin winked before turning to Luhan and Sulli, “Hey gurls~” he giggled running over to them and joining in with what they were doing – which by then happened to be lounging on Luhan’s bed whispering and giggling to each other.

Chen and Sehun exchanged a small glance before deciding it was better to not know. Sehun moved back slightly so that Chen could open the books between them as they both pulled out their notes and pens.

“Right, so it’s this bit here that I’m stuck on” Sehun frowned, pointing to a part of the text.

“Ah, right, worry not, Pet. This happens to be something I’m particularly good at” Chen beamed, before going on to explain what Sehun needed to know in more detail.

“And then you just need to do that part about how Mary Seacole should have gotten more credit than she did, and compare it with what you wrote about Florence Nightingale” Chen finished, jotting down a few notes for Sehun to work from.

“Thanks hyung, this really helped a lot!” Sehun smiled, giving Chen a cheeky kiss on the cheek, making the elder laugh.

“I saw that Oh Sehun!” Xiumin called from the other side of the room, just behind him Luhan shot a glare at Sehun, “Don’t do it again, or else!”

“Or else what?” Sehun countered, making Chen laugh even more.

Xiumin glared playfully, “You don’t want to find out, believe me” he said ominously before turning back to carry on chatting with Luhan and Sulli.

Sehun chuckled lightly before turning back to Chen, “I’ll finish this bit off later tonight, can I keep the notes?”

“Yeah” Chen yawned, “You wanna go get a beer whilst the girls natter and braid each other’s hair?” he asked, nodding towards the other three in the room, who chattered on obliviously.

“Yeah, let’s go” Sehun laughed slightly, grabbing his jacket and getting up, “Lu, I’m just popping out with Chen for a bit, I’ll be back later, okay?”

“Alright, have fun Sehunnie” Luhan smiled, waving at the younger.

Xiumin looked up questioningly at Chen, who just shrugged. Xiumin looked back to Sehun, “Make sure you keep your hands to yourself, Oh!”

Sehun chuckled again, “Don’t worry hyung, my heart belongs to another~” he smirked, sending a wink over to the three on the bed before ducking out of the room with Chen in tow.

The two of them walked side by side down the hall, nudging each other now and again as they made their way out of the building.

“So tell me, oh stupid one, who does your heart belong to if not me?!” Chen said, wrapping an arm around Sehun’s waist as they walked, his voice light and clearly amused.

Sehun chuckled as he threw an arm over Chen’s shoulders, “That’s for me to know and you not to” he smirked, “Besides, who said it’s not Xiuminnie hyung?”

“You bite your tongue, Oh Sehun!” Chen gasped dramatically, then grinned, “Besides, we all know it’s Luhan”

“So what if it is?” Sehun challenged, raising an eyebrow at Chen as they walked into the pub and up to the bar, ordering a pint each.

Chen rolled his eyes as they paid for the drinks and walked over to a small table near the back, “So you’re not denying it anymore then?”

“Denying what?”

“That you like Luhan”

“When did I say that?”

“I’ll slap you”

“Is that a promise” Sehun smirked, taking a swig of his pint.

Chen glared at him for a moment before laughing, “I like you, Sehunnie. You’re funny when you get past the fast you look like a serial killer”

“Yah!”

“But seriously, you’re not a bad kid. You know, when you’re not too busy ogling Luhan and actually hang out with the rest of us” Chen said, only half seriously.

Sehun scoffed, “Coming from you? Who practically had a shrine of Minseok hyung?” Sehun countered, then they both took a long swig of beer.

Chen shrugged lightly before downing the rest of his beer and glancing over at the TV which was showing Sports News. It was the football results at that point, so Chen just rolled his eyes and turned back to Sehun, “I didn’t have a shrine, ball-sack. I was exactly how I am now before we started dating”

“Except ually frustrated with a sore right hand” Sehun added teasingly, though he thought it was half true.

“Dickhead” Chen laughed, taking Sehun’s drink out of his hand and taking a sip before handing it back.

Sehun rolled his eyes and finished it off, only to look up at Chen with mischievous eyes, “Takes one to know one”

“Oh please” Chen scoffed, though he couldn’t hide his grin.

Sehun smirked, “You can beg all you want ChenChen, but it’s never going to happen. You’re not my type”

The two of them stared each other down for a moment before breaking into a fit of giggles.

The next round was ordered and the banter started again, only this time, they had a basket of spicy chicken wings.

“... And then, we kissed! And it was so... romantic and perfect, and god, his lips were so~ soft!” Sulli giggled as Luhan and Xiumin listened to her eagerly.

“Is he a good kisser?!” Luhan winked.

Xiumin rolled his eyes and shoved Luhan aside, “How long did it last?”

“Was there tongue?!” Luhan piped up again, snickering.

Xiumin shoved him harder, “How gentle was he?”

“Did he cop a feel?”

Luhan was shoved by Xiumin again, harder once again, and let out a squawk of pain.

“Did he hold you like he never wanted to let go?” Xiumin said, his eyes twinkling.

“Did he grab the booty?!” Luhan chuckled, holding his aching side and flinching away from Xiumin as he did.

“Gees, Okay, yes he’s a good kisser. It lasted a little while, I don’t know. No, he didn’t cop a feel! Yes, he held me like how you see guys hold their girl in the movies!! And for Gimli’s sake, no Luhan, he did not grab my !” Sulli rolled her eyes at Luhan before turning back to smile sweetly at Xiumin, “Oppa, what was it like when Chen told you how he felt?”

“Ahahaha! Oh my god! He ran away the first time they kissed and just left Chen hanging! It was too funny!” Luhan laughed, wiping away a stray tear and holding his tummy as he tried to get the giggles to subside.

“” Xiumin muttered under his breath before looking at Sulli again, “Well... He was for starters, so it wasn’t exactly how I pictured it... Then he said all these things and the he, well, screamed at me that he loved me and I... um...”

“HE FAINTED!!!” Luhan said, close to pissing himself with laughter, “He actually ing fainted!”

“SHUT THE UP, !” Xiumin screamed and shoved Luhan off the bed, making him land on the floor with a loud thud!

“Anyways, as I was saying” Xiumin smiled, turning back to Sulli once again, “Then I woke up and asked him if he meant it and stuff and then we kissed and he asked if that meant I was his and so yeah, here we are”

“You know, that’s weirdly cute” Sulli giggled, “Just like you two. He’s weird, you’re cute. It works out well”

“Weirdly cute? Yeah sure, if by that you mean ed up” Luhan huffed, getting up from the floor.

Xiumin him, “For the love of Ping-Pong, what is up with you!?”

Luhan pouted, folding his arms across his chest, “I miss Sehunnie... And because of you he’s gone off drinking with Chen and that stupid Troll is going to steal him away!” he huffed, “Don’t think I didn’t see how your boyfriend was all over him!”

Sulli and Xiumin gaped at the deer.

This wasn’t happening... It couldn’t have been...

“Dude, when did you becoming a clingy girlfriend?” Xiumin asked, his voice caught between incredulousness and curiosity.

Luhan looked up, slightly startled, “Oh my god” he said, eyes wide, “When the hell did this happen?!”

Sulli couldn’t help but chuckle, “Looks like our little Luhannie is in love” she teased.

“Luhan and Sehun, sitting in a car–” Xiumin sang brightly.

 “– Are you really doing this? – ” Luhan deadpanned, only to be ignored by Xiumin as he continued.

“– Are they ?! YES THEY ARE~~~!!” he giggled, Sulli joining in quickly after.

Sulli grinned as she looked over at Xiumin, “Oh Sehunnie, shall I list the ways in which I love you?!” She said dramatically, taking a hold of Xiumin’s hands.

“Oh Lulu, you’re the only one I see, you’re the wick to my candle, the stars in my sky! You’re all I could have hoped for! I’m the luckiest guy in the world!” Xiumin said smoothly, pulling Sulli closer to him by her hands and hugging her.

“No, Sehun-ah! No, I’m the luckiest, because I have you! Hold me and never let me go!” Sulli exaggerated.

“OH LUHAN!”

“OH SEHUNNIE!”

Luhan watched them, bemused, as they continued to act out their little ‘love scene’. It was ridiculous, he and Sehun were nothing like that. Sure, they could be cutesy, but never to that extent. It was sickening! Sickening, Luhan thought woefully, though he had to admit, he did kind of wish Sehun was there holding him at that moment. But that was nothing to do with what Xiumin and Sulli were saying! Not one little bit!

Okay... Maybe a little.
