Chapter 7

Siwon went straight to the WGM interview.

“How was your day today?” asked the staff

“It was great. I had fun.” said Siwon

“Good. But before we go on on the events today, your wife mentioned something earlier. Something about your first meeting before WGM." "Do you remember her before WGM?” asked the staff

“Hmm...umm...yes...is it the variety show she guested on?” asked Siwon

“Yes.” said the staff

“Donghae was guesting in that show and I went there to visit him. I just got out of military service then.” said Siwon

“What was your first impression of her? Did it change when you met her agian in WGM?” asked the staff

Hmm...honestly...does he have to answer this question truthfully? Should he test the waters? How honest can he be in this show?

“She’s pretty...but there are a lot of other pretty ladies around Korea...so I wouldn’t really remember her if it’s just her face. But then I  think that day she was really nervous. So she was ...let me just say...not her best in terms of her performance. I think she was bashed  greatly for that.” said Siwon

“So you check the net about her? At that time, how did you feel that she was bashed?” asked the staff

“Oh...honestly, I was curious about her since that day. So I kind of wanted to know if that performance will be broadcasted. And it was.  During that time...we’re almost like strangers except for her telling us that she’s from Mademoiselle. As an artist who was also greatly  bashed the past months without being given voice to speak up, I felt her situation was pitiful. It’s like an artist’s sympathy over another artist.” said Siwon

The staff nodded.

“But now that you are married...if that happens again...will you still feel the same?” asked the staff

“I don’t know...I can’t imagine...I just know that she is a person who is trying her best...and she will improve...I will help her.” As soon as Siwon said those words, he wanted to take them back...why is he often on this habit of saying he’ll help Hannah. He said he’ll  help her overcome her nervousness...it’s frustrating why he would just blurt it out like that when He doesn’t mean to spend his time  taking care of someone else when he’s already too busy with his own life.

Siwon went to his manager’s office. He sat on the sofa and closed his eyes as he leaned his head back.

“Tired?” asked the manager

“Yeah...I did a photoshoot earlier today before meeting with Hannah.” said Siwon “It’s tiring.”

“Tiring? A devoted husband should not be tired of meeting his wife. He should even feel that his time spent with his wife is always scarce.” said the manager

“Stop it Hyung. You know the real deal. I always want the day to finish when I am taping WGM. I hate all the pretense.” said Siwon

“I heard your wife doesn’t look like she’s pretending. I heard she’s trying her best.” said the manager.

“Hyung...” Siwon slowly opened his eyes. “Someone like her...is not suited for that show.”

“Huh? What do you mean?” asked the manager

“That show is all pretense...I think that girl is too pure for that show.” said Siwon

“Pure...Hmm...” the manager is smiling...so the girl’s image to Siwon is pure...interesting.

“What if she’s a good actress?” asked the manager

“She can’t even sing a tune in front fo the public...she gets nervous when she talks to me...do you think she can even think of acting?”  asked Siwon

Siwon looked at the television, it’s a music channel playing a Shinee music video.

“Shinee doing good?” asked Siwon

“Yes...they just finished the comeback stage.” said the manager.

“This video is unique.” said Siwon

“Yeah, it’s a new concept for them. The choreography is also harder than usual. We got a US choreographer for that.” said the manager

“It’s cool. I feel bad that my comeback song is a ballad.” said Siwon “I don’t get to have a US choreographed dance.”

The Shinee MV ended and a new MV started. It’s a music video where a y woman is waiting inside a luxurious house.

“There are days like this...days when nothing matters but the ticking of the clock...nothing but each tik tok...each second...each minute  that passes by without you...” sang the y woman while walking by the pool.

Another girl appeared also a bit y but this time the girl looks cute rather than y. She’s sitting by the sofa, looking by the door.

“There are days like this...days when my eyes is blocked by darkness...and all I see is that light by the door...hoping that once it opens...it would be you...”

Sang the girl

“But then I...wait and wait this longing screaming out...” sang a girl by the window looking outside. Her hair is pinkish. “No matter how many times I call your  name”

“No matter how many times I ask you to come...there’s just an empty space." sang a girl sitting by the root of the tree...Also looking smoking hot...her hair purplish blue...
