Comeback Stage

Chapter 10

Hannah is nervous and anxious. What is that call with Siwon about last night? She just confirmed with her manager that though she is very busy, she can spare an hour or 2 with Siwon on Wednesday next week...but why will they meet out side WGM broabcast? Does he really want to introduce her to his nephew? His nephew, how young is he to not know that they only have a pretend marriage?

But there is another thing that occupies Hannah's mind...

The Mademoiselle comeback stage is today.

They have rehearsed this countless times...yet she still feels her legs shaking at the thought of performing the song for the first time on stage.

As Madame stayed in the waiting room, Hannah kept listening to the studio version of the song remembering the dance steps.

"Eonnie" Riz sat beside her. "Don't worry, everything will be fine...we do not have much dance on this one because it's ballad...we only have postiion shifts so don't overstress yourself all right?"

Riz is right. But still...Hannah took a deep breath.

"Do you ever get nervous? The four of you are all super talented. And you definitely perform...often better on stage than on practice." said Hannah

"I am a bit nervous now since this is our comeback stage...I am not sure how people will receive our performance...but I believe that management has done everything they could on promotions...and we have practiced thoroughly, so I think everything is going to be fine." said Riz

Riz is the leader...and though she is a bit younger than Hannah, she is definitely more matured.

"That's what I like about you Riz. You are always in control. I have never seen you stressed or out of your normal emotions. you are really suited to be the leader." said Hannah

"Don't say that in a time like this Eonnie, You will make me cry. And I hate it if my eyeliner suddenly smudge just before we perform." said Riz

Hannah chuckled.

"But honestly, Eonnie. I don't understand why you are still not confident of yourself. Yes there were times when your nervousness affected your performance...but you have already improved a lot...and you are great during practice. " said Riz

Hannah doesn't know either...she just can't control her nervousness...

"We are receiving good feedback so far about the WGM broadcast." said Siwon's manager. "WGM is indeed a genius idea. People are starting to like you again."

"That's cool. At least selling out my principle had some benefits." said Siwon

"Don't be cynical about it, I bet you're enjoying yourself. The last time I watched WGM, it seems you and Hannah had a good time in that aquarium." said Siwon's manager

"You watched it?" asked Siwon

"All the time, I anticipate it." said the manager

Siwon just rolled his  eyes.

"It isn't so bad, the girl is very nice and like-able." said the manager

"Yeah. She's a simple girl." said Siwon

"So have you sent her flowers or anything today?" asked the manager "Its her comeback stage."

"Why would I? it's not as if I am really her husband in real life to send her flowers. Besides, it won't be shown in WGM right?" asked Siwon

"What?! The whole Korea knows you are her husband until your stint in the show ends. Whether you are a real couple of not, act like a real one. She has a comeback stage today. I would feel bad if my husband does not give me even just a bouquet of flower as good luck." said the manager

"You are a guy, Hyung. You will never be a wife to anyone." said Siwon

"I was just saying that you can't underestiamte events like this. It hurts women to be neglected you know." said the manager

"I don't want her to expect that there could be something between us in real life." said Siwon

"Wow, you are so assuming. What if she doesn't expect anything? What if she doesn't like you?" asked the manager

Siwon raised his brows.

"All right, I get it...but still...WGM called to say that they will send camera men to Hannah's waiting room for her comebacak stage...if you don't send her good luck gift or something, it's bound to come out. You  have to act like a good husband you know.." said the manager

Siwon took his bag and stood to leave.

"Where are you going? We have a meeting in a few minutes?" asked the manager

"I need to be a good husband right?" said Siwon "I'll be a little late in the meeting, cover
