Dream Confession

Chapter 18

Hannah opened her eyes to an odd place.

“Where am I?” asked Hannah

Hannah looked around… “This place…” it looks like a hospital.

The door opened and Hannah could not believe it…Siwon is entering the room…ahhh this must be a dream…

“You’re awake? That’s good. You should drink water.” Said Siwon

Siwon poured water on a cup and helped Hannah up to drink.

“You need to finish that up. I heard you rarely drink water…so part of the reason you fainted is dehydration.” Said Siwon

This dream is so surreal…Siwon is taking care of her…

Siwon adjusted the temperature in the room and Hannah’s bed.

“Do you want to lay down?” asked Siwon

Hannah shook her head.

“The WGM camera men are outside. I told them to just wait there since you’re still sleeping…I didn’t want them to keep filming us like this.” Said Siwon

Even in dreams…WGM is still around.

“How are you feeling?” asked Siwon

“A bit weak…still feeling sore all over…” said Hannah in a croaky voice.

“The doctor said you’re overfatigued. You shouldn’t have pushed yourself too much.” Said Siwon “I think it was partly my fault for pushing you too hard.”

Hannah shook her head.

“You helped me a lot in my performances Oppa…So it’s not your fault.” Said Hannah

Hannah looked intently at Siwon…she wants to remember this dream…the concern in Siwon’s eyes…she wants to not forget…

“I heard this is not the first time you fainted?” asked Siwon

“Yeah…I fainted once 8 months ago...” said Hannah

Tsk! If she knows she can get really sick if she gets overworked, she should have paid more attention!

Siwon is irritated.

“You can’t overwork like this anymore in the future. This should be the last time you’ll faint. When you feel tired…rest…do not practice like there’s no tomorrow.” Said Siwon

Hannah knows Siwon is nagging her…but it sounded like music to her ears.

Siwon took a deep breath.

“You…it isn’t because of what happened last night, is it?” asked Siwon “I mean…you did not feel sick because of what I told you…right?” asked Siwon

Ahhh…even in dreams…what happened will still be brought up…

“I felt…really hurt…” said Hannah. She can be honest to her dream, right?

“I felt like…I just wanted to help him right? I love my Dad so much…if I can just hug him right now, I will…but here he is…his Dad is just a call away…but he still choose to ignore him…I was really sad for you and your Dad…that I wanted to help…though I already knew you might hate me after. “ said Hannah

“I know it’s none of my business…I told your mom we’re not that close for me to influence you to reconcile with your Dad…but still…when I saw how sad your Mom was…when I think of my own Dad…I just can’t help but try…” said Hannah her eyes a bit too moist.

“I told my Dad that I bet you miss your Dad…he told me he thinks your Dad misses you more…” said Hannah “I just took a gamble…I…I knew you’d hate me for that.”

Siwon felt a tugging in his chest…it felt a bit painful as it slowly penetrated deeper.

“What I said…yesterday…I was harsh.” Said Siwon

“Yeah…you were…you were really harsh.” Said Hannah

Siwon is surprised at Hannah’s new found honesty.

“I stood there…on the spot you left me…for like an hour…just there…I couldn’t move…I just felt hurt…It was like my chest was being axed the entire time.” said Hannah tears slowly flowing from her eyes as she recalled the moment.

Siwon closed his eyes. Yeah…the pain in his own chest is real…upon hearing Hannah’s words…it felt like he is slowly feeling the same pain.

Siwon opened his eyes as he held Hannah’s hand in his.

“Hannah…why do you get hurt over me like this?” asked Siwon “I didn’t mean to hurt you like that…but still…it ended up that way.”

“Because I like you…because I love you.” Said Hannah

Siwon felt frozen.

“They said…the one that can make you the happiest is the one that can hurt you the most…the more you love a person…the more that person can hurt you…that is why some people are afraid of falling in love…because then they are exposing themselves to pain…” said Hannah

“I…don’t understand.” Said Siwon

“Ever since I was in my home country…ever since I wasn’t an idol yet…I have already seen you…liked you like a dedicated fan…  And then I became an idol and there wasn’t ever a time when I would not wish to meet you personally…for 2 years…it never happened…And when it did…I just could not believe that you are before my eyes…” said Hannah “I guess that instance I saw you personally…that’s the time I fell in love.”

Siwon was out of words…what is…Hannah saying?

Siwon tightened his hold on Hannah’s hand and touched her forehead with his other hand.

“Your fever is down…so you should be feeling all right….right?” asked Siwon

Hannah nodded.

So why is she speaking like a drunk person?

Siwon released Hannah’s forehead.

“You’re saying the truth, are you?” asked Siwon

Hannah nodded.

Siwon suddenly felt himself weak… he sat down to the chair still not releasing Hannah’s hand.
