All Mixed Up

Chapter 32

Hannah walked like a zombie going to the celebration party of the drama that just ended. She was invited since she’s part of the cast…but Hannah is nowhere near a celebration spirit.

“Because I know you won’t let him go down like this…Because I know you’d do anything to help him.”

But how? How will I help him not to be hated by the people? How can I make it look like he wasn’t dating Boa during WGM if they will be announced to be together…

Hannah sat on a free chair.

“Hannah!” called the director. “Good thing you came. I heard from my other director friend that you were casted as the lead of a new drama.”

“Umm...yes.” said Hannah

“Very good. I think you’d do well. Use that to learn more…in no time you’d be a great actress.” Said the director

“Thank you…” said Hannah

Normally, those encouraging words would have lifted Hannah’s spirit…but this time…it didn’t.

Yoona entered the room. Hannah waved at her…but Yoona looked away as if she did not see her.

Why?

Oh, maybe she really just did not see me.

What will I do to help Siwon…

TOP entered the room, he greeted everyone and found Hannah.

“Hey.” Said TOP

“Hey.” Said Hannah

“I thought this is a celebration dinner…I didn’t know I’d come to a mourning service.” Said TOP

“Huh?” asked Hannah

“What’s the problem?” asked TOP

“Problem?” asked Hannah

“Yeah….Problem.” said TOP in english

Hannah shook her head.

“I know you don’t treat me as a friend yet….but when your face clearly shows a problem…there is a problem.” Said TOP

Hannah can’t contain the heaviness in her heart anymore…She has thought of how to help Siwon since earlier non-stop…her mind is going to blow anytime….yet she still can’t think of anything to help Siwon….

“I’ll just…go to the toilet.” Hannah stood up

But on her way to the toilet, TOP blocked her way.

“If it’s a really big problem…you can be amazed that I might be able to help you.” Said TOP

“I do not have a problem.” Said Hannah

“Liar.” Said TOP

Hannah closed her eyes as she leaned on the wall.

“I…” Hannah could not stop her tears anymore. “Just want to help him…”

“Him?” asked TOP

“Siwon Oppa… he’s going through a lot right now…But I can’t be beside him…” said Hannah “and he’s going to be into so much more if I don’t do something.” Said Hannah

“What do you mean?” asked TOP

“Siwon Oppa and Boa…are to be announced as dating…” said Hannah

“That’s not going to be good for Siwon…” said TOP “WGM just ended isn’t it? People will think he was dating Boa during WGM…He will be seen as a playboy and traitor.”

“That’s going to be too much. He just recovered from the military service controversy.” Said Hannah wiping her tears.

“You…really care for him, huh?” asked TOP “Do you…like him?”

Hannah looked at TOP. He has that cold look on his face…but his eyes tell her otherwise.

“I do” said Hannah “I like him…more than you can imagine.”

It was TOP’s turn to lean on the wall.

“Can I  tell you something I’ve been wanting to tell you recently?” asked TOP

“Hmm?” asked Hannah

“I kept hiding it back since I didn’t want to put you in a bad light…you were married…and even if that’s just a pretend thing…I still held back because I didn’t want to burden you….” Said TOP “But things turned out this way and I regret not saying it earlier.”

“What do you mean?” asked Hannah

“I like you Hannah.” Said TOP

Hannah suddenly felt like her brain did not function for a second.

“Say that again.” Said Hannah

“You are a very interesting person, Hannah. I’ve seen you once perform. It wasn’t your best…but I saw how much effort you’ve put…and then I learned you’re part of the drama…I already promised myself that I will get to know you once the shooting of the drama starts.” Said TOP

“You…are you serious?” asked Hannah

“Do I look like I’m joking?” asked TOP

“You have…a very bad timing on confessing.” Said Hannah

“Yeah…it’s a bad timing for a confession…But it’s the best timing to ask you my question.” Said TOP

“Your…question?” asked Hannah

“You said you want to help Siwon…” said TOP

Hannah nodded.

“Are you willing to take on hatred and bashing for him?” asked TOP

“I have been through a lot of that in the past…I can survive if it happens again.” Said Hannah

“Then…in that case…” TOP faced Hannah and pulled her close to him.

“Can you be my girlfriend?” asked TOP

Huh?

“What?” asked Hannah her eyes blinking in unbelief.

“If you become my girlfriend…we will announce it before SM announces the Siwon-Boa relationship…people will hate you…they will think you dated me while you were in WGM with Siwon…you will suffer for a day or 2 until SM makes their announcement. Once they are announced, the hatred will subside. People will make stories of what happened among the four of us. Why did Hannah suddenly end up with TOP? Why did Boa suddenly become Siwon’s girlfriend? Was everything in WGM acting?” said TOP

Hannah listened well…if she become TOP’s girlfriend…and it was announced ahead…she will carry the burden…but she will be able to help Siwon…

“I…can bear all of that.” Said Hannah “As long as I can help him.”

“You’re not making me happy when you tell me how much you can give for him.” Said TOP
