Chapter 27

Hannah leaned in for the kiss… as she pushed TOP to the wall. And when their lips met…Hannah closed her eyes…she’s the predator here…TOP is the prey…she made the kiss a bit harsh as instructed by the director…but not too harsh to make her look cheap…

The entire time…it was not TOP’s face that clouded her mind… Not even TOP’s role, Rick…

But it was Siwon’s face.

From now on, whenever you kiss someone…you will only think of me. Just as I…will only think of you.

Hannah felt TOP responding to her kiss…she felt his arms reaching for her elbows pulling her closer to him. Yet at that moment, it was Siwon’s hands in Hannah’s mind…Siwon pulling her to him…

And then suddenly TOP pushed her back a bit too harshly making Hannah almost loose her balance.

“No Yeun…no…For me…there’s only one person who can occupy my heart…” said TOP and then he turned his back on Hannah

“And that’s not you.” Said TOP as he walked away leaving Hannah alone…the sun is almost gone…and she fell to her knees weak…

“Cut!” shouted the director.

“That’s is great! Good job!” said the director. Hannah went on her way to see how the scene looked. But TOP stopped her.

“If I had a choice…I wouldn’t have stopped that kiss…I actually almost forgot we’re taking a scene.” Said TOP

Hannah looked away...Did she overdo it? How embarrassing can this get?!

“I’m so sorry-“ said Hannah

“Why would you? I was trying to compliment you.” Said TOP

“For the kiss?” asked Hannah

“Yeah…it was…one of the best I had.” Said TOP making Hannah’s eyes wide in surprise.

TOP chuckeld. “I know it wasn’t appropriate to say…but I just wanted to tell you anyway.”

And then TOP walked on.

“As expected, the 2 events that happened in yesterday’s filming of the drama hit the news like crazy. During the morning, news that you visited your wife in the filming made netizens surprised and excited. But that is just a minor reaction from how everyone responded to the second event.” Said Siwon’s manager.

The second event was written in different ways in the news. Some said Siwon went again in the late afternoon during the shoot, took Hannah away in the middle of a scene being taken and then disappeared for 10 minutes, almost making the director hysterical since he needed the sunset scene. Another article said it this way: Siwon escaped his interview to stop the Hannah-TOP kissing scene during the shoot.

“The netizens went all crazy after the articles were released. It was like a bomb that just exploded!” said the manager

“The drama is now on air right?” asked Siwon “How did it go?”

“What you did helped the drama a lot in terms of ratings. During its first few days on air, it beat all other shows. It has been the talk of the town…and instead of putting Yoona-Hannah-TOP scenes as flashback as originally planned, the director decided to put it in the first part of the show. That made the audience reaction wild with all the news coming out about TOP and Hannah.” Said the manager

Siwon is irritated…people are going wild with TOP Hannah interactions?! Hannah is his wife. All Korea knows that.

“ I heard, there are talks of extending Hannah’s role in the drama. They only planned to have the highschool part for 2 to 3 episodes…but it seems it will be longer due to the people’s reaction.” Said the manager

“No way.” Said Siwon. Hannah will work longer with that guy? No Way!

“Well…it’s beyond us Siwon. It’s Hannah’s management’s decision. As long as it won’t affect WGM, it doesn’t matter to us.” Said Siwon’s manager

“But it does!” Siwon almost said.

But the manager need not hear it to know what Siwon is thinking.

“Have you read the script I gave you?” asked the manager

“Umm..yeah…I went over it….I am just in the middle part though.” Said Siwon

“What can you say so far?” asked the manager

“It’s…actually interesting. The role they will give me is like a prince that became rejected by the kingdom and banished…but eventually proved that he was innocent of the crime against him. The script has a great potential to be a good drama.” Said Siwon

“And I heard it has a big budget too. They are planning to make it a big drama… something like Jumong.” Said the manager

Siwon nodded his head. “Yeah…I can imagine it…they also included stars like Song Hye Kyo…This will definitely be a large scale production.” Said Siwon

“As your manager, I think this will be a good comeback project for you as an actor. You will be the lead and we both know you need this kind of big break after everything that happened.” Said the manager. “If we don’t take this project now, we will lose a very big opportunity. Anyone who will take on this role will definitely become a big star after.”

Siwon had thought about this a couple of times in the past…but still…

“I don’t think I’m ready for this Hyung.” Said Siwon

“What?” asked the manager ”You don’t feel ready as an actor? Do you lack confidence now? You have been in lead roles for multiple dramas in the past. How can you lose confidence suddenly?”

“I just don’t think it’s the right time for me…I just came back…my image is just now becoming good again. I…will push this project back.” said Siwon as he stood to leave.

“This is the best time, Siwon.” Said the manager

“No Hyung, not now.” Said Siwon “Not yet.”

Siwon reached for the door knob.

“You’re not pushing it back to stay married right?” asked the manager jokingly.

But Siwon just went out of the room without a word.

“So…” the smile gone from the manager’s face.  “He is pushing it back for her then…” said the manager “This is going to be difficult.”
