"I don't want to." Baekhyun said, shaking his head

"Why not? It's just dancing at a club." Chanyeol said, frowning

"I don't like clubs." Baekhyun said, sighing

"But we work at one." Chanyeol said, rolling his eyes

"I don't want to go." Baekhyun answered, crossing his arms

"It's friday night! We need to do something besides practicing!" Chanyeol complained, stomping his feet

"I still don't want to go." Baekhyun snapped, rolling his eyes

"Then what should we do?" Chanyeol asked, glaring

"A movie and dinner?" Baekhyun suggested, his heart racing

"A date? It does sound nice." Chanyeol said, nodding his head

"Date?" Baekhyun asked, wide eyed

"I was just playing around. Besides, this is sort of like a date." Chanyeol said, laughing

"Yeah, our first date." Baekhyun said, his heart soaring

"But you're going to pay." Chanyeol said, smirking

"You're taller than me." Baekhyun argued, glaring

"And? You're the one who suggested it." Chanyeol argued back, smiling

"Fine. I'll pay." Baekhyun said, shaking his head

"Let's go then. Our first ever date." Chanyeol laughed, pulling Baekhyun along

Baekhyun stared at the front of the club, sighing as he headed back inside. He mentally kicked himself for forgetting his music sheets, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

Baekhyun headed towards the stage, forcing himself to hold back the tears that kept appearing, desperate to repair his broken heart. He pushed past the people before making it to the front. Baekhyun climbed the steps and stopped, his eyes wide.

He stared at you and Chanyeol, the way you were hugging each other, the way his eyes seemed to shine as he held you. Baekhyun stood there, heartbroken. He felt his tears drop as he watched you lean closer, your lips touching Chanyeol's.

'It can't be.'

'Not so soon.'

'Why couldn't it have been me?'

Baekhyun looked away when he saw Chanyeol lean closer, knowing what was going to happen. He turned around and ran out of the club, his whole world shattered. Baekhyun began to walk around aimlessly, his hopes and dreams thrown away like trash.

Just like he was.

He headed towards his apartment, tears overflowing as he stared at the front of it. Baekhyun began to laugh, his laughter slowly turning into sobs. He headed towards the main street and into the convenience store, buying several bottles of alcohol.

Baekhyun began to walk around, slowly drinking as he made it to a nearby park. He lied down on the bench, facing the sky as his tears fell. Baekhyun chuckled as he drank, his mind empty and heart shattered.

"Stupid, that's what you are. A complete ." Baekhyun whispered, shaking his head

To Baekhyun, Chanyeol was an untainable dream. He was the one chance of living a normal life, a way of escaping his past. Baekhyun couldn't stop the tears that fell, knowing what was happening.

All Baekhyun wanted was to be loved. All he wanted was to know someone cared about him. All he wanted was for someone to stay by his side. All he wanted was to hear those words.

'Na Ri has been there.'

"No. She wasn't. She was never there for me." Baekhyun whispered, sighing

Baekhyun understood this, he cared about you, he truly did. But something was missing. You were there but never with him. Years of waiting for you to be honest, years of hoping that you would realize his own pain.

You were selfish. You never took care of Baekhyun.

He had always taken care of you.

Baekhyun stood up and walked back onto the road, leaving behind several bottles of alcohol unfinished. He stared at the road, noticing the busy road, cars speeding past him. Baekhyun smiled as he stepped closer to the road, his eyes blank and empty.

'Betrayal. When your love is rejected by the person you love the most, when your betrayed by the person you're closest to. That's when you assess yourself. You will close your heart and hide away, hoping no one will find you.'

Baekhyun fell to the floor, staring at his shaking hands. He rested his head in his knees, his sobs shaking his entire body. Baekhyun looked up to see the cars passing by, leaving him behind.

"Please. Just this once. Please." Baekhyun sobbed, his tears flowing

He stood up and began to walk, pushing past the people who were staring at him. Wiping away his tears, he began to walk home, ignoring the pain in his chest.

'Just this once.'

'Just this once.'

'Someone end it.'

'Someone take this pain away.'

Baekhyun reached his apartment and opened the door, heading towards his room. His eyes landed on the picture frame, a picture of you and Baekhyun. He grabbed it and threw it at the wall, watching it shatter, the glass shards so tempting.

"Stupid. You're so stupid." Baekhyun whispered, falling down

Baekhyun lied down and closed his eyes, wiping away his tears as they fell. He began to sing, the only thing that kept him sane, the only thing that allowed him to cope. The only thing that allowed him to survive.
