"I invited someone." Baekhyun said, looking at Chanyeol

"Really? Who? Your girlfriend?" Chanyeol asked, tuning his guitar

"A friend." Baekhyun said, smiling

"Really? Who is she?" Chanyeol asked, smirking

"How do you know it's a girl?" Baekhyun asked, wide eyed

"Instincts." Chanyeol replied, laughing

"She's a good friend of mine." Baekhyun answered, sitting next to Chanyeol

"Really? That's nice." Chanyeol said, nodding his head

"You'll like her." Baekhyun said, smiling wide

"Really? Why? You trying to set me up?" Chanyeol asked, chuckling

"No! I mean, she's not someone who likes those things." Baekhyun stammered, going red

"I'm just kidding. Besides, she's reserved." Chanyeol said, punching Baekhyun lightly on the shoulders

"Huh? Reserved?" Baekhyun asked, confused

"Yeah. She's yours, right?" Chanyeol asked, confused

Before Baekhyun could respond, they heard a someone walking inside. Chanyeol turned to look at a tall and pale girl. a drink in her hand. She smiled softly at Baekhyun, handing him a drink.

"Oppa!" She said

Chanyeol stared at her, noticing the soft smile, dark hair and shining eyes. His heart began to race as she turned to look at him, her eyes instantly dulling and hardening. Chanyeol resisted the urge to touch her, confused about the way he felt.

'It's her'

Chanyeol waited for her to introduce herself, watching as she got scolded by Baekhyun. Chanyeol couldn't help but smile at her soft voice, cold and stiff.

'Song Na Ri'

'Gongju-ah'

"Na Ri, wake up." Chanyeol whispered, shaking you lightly

"Oppa?" You asked, sitting up

"Yeah, you fell asleep. Are you okay?" Chanyeol asked, smiling softly

"Yeah, I want to go home." You said, nodding your head

"Are you sure? You can stay for a few more days." Chanyeol said, a worried expression on his face

"Yeah. I don't like hospitals all too much." You said, pouting

You watched as Chanyeol helped you out of your bed. He waited for you to change in the bathroom before you walked out. Chanyeol slipped his light sweater over you and waited for you to walk out. You quickly discharged and got your medication order. Chanyeol waited in the lobby while you dialed Baekhyun's number.

You felt tears prick your eyes as he rejected your call. You turned back to Chanyeol and wiped away your tears. Without a word, you slipped your hand into his, leaning on him.

"Are you okay?" Chanyeol asked, looking down at you

'No'

"Yeah, I'm just a bit tired." You said, sighing

"You should eat something first." Chanyeol said, slipping his arm around you

You turned to look at his arm wrapped around your waist. Chanyeol quickly let go and blushed, wincing in embarrassment. You grabbed his arm without thinking and wrapped it around yourself, leaning closer.

"Just stay like this." You whispered, tears in your eyes

"Okay." Chanyeol said, leaning closer

You watched as Chanyeol hailed a cab and waited for you to get inside. You stared in surprise as he leaned through the open window, a smile on his face.

"Where are you going?" You asked, confused

"I have something to do. I'll call you later." Chanyeol said, waving goodbye

You waved at him before you turned around. You heard Chanyeol run back and stared wide eyed as he leaned down through the window. You closed your eyes as he kissed you softly on the cheek, smiling at you before running away. You touched your cheek and smiled softly, your heart racing.

You soon arrived at home and you walked up the stairs, sighing as you entered your apartment. You walked to your room and closed the curtains, slipping into bed. You quickly fell asleep, ignoring your phone ringing.

Baekhyun stared at the piano, soju in his hand. He quickly took a large sip and threw the bottle on the ground, laughing as he heard the bottle smash. He grabbed another bottle and opened it, drinking it.

He leaned down towards the piano, resting his head. Baekhyun closed his eyes and began to cry, the pain in his heart too great to notice the tears staining his face.

Baekhyun stood up and stared at the room, noticing Chanyeol's guitar on stage. He stood up and stared at it before picking it up, weighing it as he began to swing it. Before Baekhyun could smash it, he stopped, chuckling to himself as he dropped it on the ground.

"Alright, let's have some fun." Baekhyun slurred

He walked back to the piano and began to play, his voice full of pain and sorrow. Baekhyun ignored the tears falling as he heard your voice in his head, the guilt too much.

The moonbeam that brims up in your eyes
This night that silently overflows with pain.

'I like Chanyeol.'

Baekhyun stopped playing and began to drink again, choking slightly from too much alcohol. He stood up and walked out of the club, heading home. Baekhyun's eyes widened as he stared at Chanyeol, who was waiting for him outside the building.

"What are you doing here?" Baekhyun asked, his breath smelling of soju

"You're drunk." Chanyeol said, his eyes narrowing

"And you are very smart." Baekhyun said, laughing

"Why didn't you visit Na Ri?" Chanyeol asked, his voice cold

"Na Ri. It's always Na Ri. After 6 years, I'm getting tired." Baekhyun said, closing his eyes

"What do you mean?" Chanyeol asked, confused

"She's not a baby anymore. Why should I have to take care of her?" Baekhyun asked, hiccuping

"Let's go home." Chanyeol said, grabbing Baekhyun

"Let go of me." Baekhyun said, pushing Chanyeol away

"Where are you going?" Chanyeol asked, following after Baekhyun

"Why do you even care? Go home to Na Ri!" Baekhyun snapped, taking another drink of soju

"Fine. Just go home. I'll call you later." Chanyeol said, shaking his head

"Do you like her?" Baekhyun asked, turning to look at Chanyeol

"Yeah. I like her." Chanyeol said, nodding his head

'It's over. Everything.'

"Why? Why do you like her so much?" Baekhyun asked, tears in his eyes

"I found myself wondering about her all the time and that curiosity turned into worrying, and all that worrying made me think about her all the time. Those thoughts of her made me miss her." Chanyeol said, looking away

'Betrayal.'

'It's over. I didn't have a chance.'

Baekhyun stared at Chanyeol before turning away. He began to walk away, towards his apartment. Baekhyun couldn't stop the tears that fell from his eyes or the way his heart was torn into pieces. He stood looking at your buildng before heading to his apartment.

Baekhyun climbed the stairs and through his door. He walked towards his room and closed the curtains, slipping into his bed. Baekhyun closed his eyes and began to sing, falling asleep quickly.
