Moonlit Night
The Undercover PrinceMoonlit Night
The pathway was dimly lit but the full moon above was doing a good job helping Sulli to see her way. She was excited earlier to find out about the private beach that belonged to the hotel and had even declined to join the others on their night exploration of the town. Wearing her newly bought turquoise flower-printed sarong and a simple white-sleeveless top; she carefully made her way through the path and towards the sounds of lapping waves.
The beach was dotted with mini bonfires set by the hotel and she thought the scene was very charming. There was nobody around so she has the whole beach to herself it seemed. She took off her designer flops and started walking on the beach barefooted. She wanted to feel the tiny grain of sands underneath her feet and as her feet sunk into them, she savored the feeling; closing her eyes, satisfaction written on her face. She has always wanted to do this, but never had the time. Her entire life was focused in making things better for her little family. She seldom stopped and smelled the roses but she always looked at life positively and tried her best in everything she does. That was how her mom taught her to see life. So, the simple act of walking on the beach was a luxury that she couldn’t afford in the past and for that she silently thanked her team leader.
Her team leader, she sighed heavily. The smoldering y man that made her blush with only a single touch. Why did she have to think of him now? Maybe the only time to think of him was now. She was alone and she has time on her hand. She walked on, getting nearer to the water’s edge, soft white waves lapping and nipping playfully at her toes.
“Why didn’t you come down for tea?” Minho asked as he sat in front of her during dinner.
“Ahh! I slept right through. Sorry. Did I miss anything?” Sulli asked, concerned.
“Nope … You didn’t miss anything but … you were definitely missed” said Minho in an off-handed manner.
Sulli didn’t know how to react to his reply but she could feel her heart was fluttering. Did he miss her? She smiled.
Minho smiled back.
How could such a simple reply like that made her heart flutter? He could have meant the whole team had missed her but her silly heart chose to believe that Minho actually missed her. It was more romantic and it nourishes her growing feelings towards the man.
“The kids are going out to town. Are you going?” asked Minho.
“No”
“Why? It will be fun for you and the guys to get some relaxing time before tomorrow’s sessions”
“I … I had something else in mind. I think it’s more relaxing then an outing. You?”
