Tattered Vision

Siwon just finished talking with the doctor and was assured that President Choi was now stabilized and will be closely monitored.  With that taken care of, he needed to see Minho and asked some pertinent questions. He found his brother in the sitting room adjoining his father’s room, sitting still on the sofa with his body hunched over and head in his hands. Siwon sat down next to him and put a comforting hand on Minho’s back.

“The doctor says that he is going to be fine. He just received a big shock and that triggered his blood pressure. They’ll be monitoring him closely for a couple of days”

“That’s good to hear, hyung” Minho said turning to look at his elder brother.

“What happened back there, hyung? Why did father and you looked at Sulli like both of you’ve seen a ghost?”

Siwon sighed heavily and closed his eyes.

“Maybe we did, brother. Maybe we did …” he answered cryptically.

“You got to explain to me, hyung. Please …” Minho pleaded.

He was going crazy thinking about the day’s events. His father collapsing after what it seemed like he was trying to reach for his girlfriend, his brother looking pale and confused, his real identity has been exposed and the look on her face … yeah, the look on Sulli’s face. How is he going to explain himself to her?

“Do you remember how omma looks like?” Siwon asked suddenly after a long silence.

“Nope. I can’t remember. Father threw all her pictures out when she left, right? What that has to do with this?”

Fishing out his wallet, Siwon searched for a tattered piece of photo. He took it out carefully; afraid that he would tore it if he was too rough. He gave it to Minho.
