The Lingering Scent In His Bedroom

Wow! Was the only thing he could say about his kiss with Sulli. Even right now, lying on his solitary bed, his mind kept replaying the scene over and over again and when he closed his eyes, he could smell the lingering scent of sweet blooming red roses. The innocent bouquet was crushed between them in the heat of their kiss. Minho smiled remembering how flushed his girlfriend looked when they finally stopped. Not that he wanted to stop particularly but he had to before the kiss went out of control; before he went out of control especially when she replied his kiss ever so generously.

His girlfriend … he is officially dating Sulli. His smile got wider though his eyes were still closed. After two agonizing months of trying to send her home or inviting her for lunch or dinner, he finally got a yes from her. He didn’t plan to confess but he somehow knew he might not get a second chance if he didn’t. After all, it was worth it. She liked him too. He knew he was grinning like a fool now but no one was there to see him. He continued grinning.

Now, he could comfortably admit to himself that he was silently stalking her. Yes, the ever capable Choi Minho, stalked Choi Sulli when he has free time and most of the time he made himself free. He was there watching her eat with the other girls at the cafeteria, of course he was eating with Key and the other guys too. Worrying about how little she was eating because she had to rush in order to complete her department’s work and at the same time, find enough time to work on their skincare project. He would stop at her floor before he went back home just to make sure that she was not in the office but more often than not, he would find her there. He then would go back to his office and call the security desk to ask for them to do extra rounds on her floor. He will only go back once she left her office.

Once tomorrow is done, he would take her out and tell her about himself. There should be no lies between them. He will make sure that she understood that he was only following his father’s wish and he never intended to fool anybody. She liked him as her colleague so he did not foresee any problem when he tells her about his real identity. He was quite sure about it and his heart felt a bit lighter at the thought of telling her the truth.

Goodnight my sweet Sulli. Minho willed himself to sleep and hoped that morning will come quickly.
