The Flight

“Is everybody here?” Secretary Kibum asked pushing his ever slipping Prada reading glasses back on the bridge of his nose. He was checking the namelist and making sure that everything and everyone is following the schedule he made.

“Yes!” answered everybody in unison like a group of college graduates going on a vacation rather than a group of creative professionals from one of the biggest company in Korea. The group even resembles one as the oldest of them was the Finance Junior Manager, Lee Jinki, who was only twenty eight and the youngest being Sulli. Due to their high spirit, it was difficult for them to contain their eagerness to get to Saipan as soon as possible.

“Good. Okay let’s check in our baggage. Mr. Kim Jonghyun, could you please assist our team member since you have done yours via the internet?” Kibum instructed the representative from the IT division.

Minho was silently standing at the back, looking at his team. Besides his secretary Kibum, there was Jinki from Finance, Jonghyun from IT, Taemin from Publicity, Uee from Marketing, Soojung from R&D and Sulli from Product Design. The other two ladies, Amber and Luna were research assistants. They will later be joined by Himchan and his manager, Victoria at the hotel. They will be flying straight from Singapore where Himchan and his group were having their last concert in their world tour.

His eyes darted back to Sulli who looked absolutely adorable in her short denim dress. It showed her endless long legs and flawless fair skin. It was a simple get up but to Minho, the sight of her made his heart thumped a bit louder. He recalled the last time he met her.

“Sulli! Wait!” said Minho catching her wrist.

She looked totally surprised by his action but she stopped and just smile.

“Yes, team leader” she said.

“Come on, Sulli. You don’t have to call me that. I would prefer if you would just call me oppa” he said in a lowered tone, frowning.

“But it would hardly be appropriate … Anyway, congratulations on your new post.”

Minho let go of her hand and put his hands in his trouser’s pocket.
