It was late afternoon and Sulli just came back to her small studio apartment after helping out her mother with some work at the pension. Though there were more than enough room for her to stay with her mother but she really wanted some privacy to do her own thing; her own private sanctuary where she can be herself. Most of the time, she would be drawing or sketching; a hobby that actually had turned out to be a good source of income. A small local gallery showcased her work and every now and then, she will have buyers. It was more satisfying than to be working at a big company after all.
Though mostly the ones she gave the gallery were the sceneries of Jeju and its people, but the more private and intimate works were not for sale and she kept them here at her place. Walking towards an unfinished sketch, she traced along the rough sketch of a jaw line, the length of the neck and the width of a shoulder. A deep sigh of longing came out of her where her heart pines for the light lines that what supposed to be Minho’s face. She sat down on the stool and picked up a piece of charcoal and continued her work.
Her apartment was minimalistic in nature but each item of furniture has Sulli’s touch on them. The kitchenette has an attached L-shaped dining counter to it, which could accommodate two comfortably eating facing each other or sitting side by side.
