“Mom! Wait! My soccer ball.” Myungsoo chased his ball when it rolled down to the other kid’s feet. He grabbed the ball and gave it to Myungsoo. He smiled when Myungsoo was practically begging for oxygen. Myungsoo was sure it wasn’t that far from where he first stood.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome. You look new here.”

“What do you know? You’re just a kid.”

“So do you.”

“Well I…”

“My name is Sungyeol.”

“I haven’t finished talking! Myungsoo. And yes I just moved in. My mom told me I could not talk to strangers though”

“I’m Sungyeol remember, you know my name. So we’re no longer strangers.”

“You’re such a a weird kid.”

“You are a kid too.”

“Yes true.” Myungsoo hesitated. The other kid was right though.

Sungyeol chuckled again.

“Can we be friends?” Myungsoo asked.

“What?”

“Be friends.”

“You told me I’m a weird kid.”

“That makes two of us then.”

“Okay.” Sung yeol smiled.

“Myung soo! Come quick! We need to go to the grocery store okay!” Myungsoo’s mom called.

“OKAAAAAY MOOOM” he replied. Screamed from the top of his lungs, “Where do you live???” he continued.

“Around the corner the one with the white fences.”

“That’s extremely near my apartment. So I guess I’ll be seeing you later! See you Sungyeol!” he said goodbye and waved. Sungyeol smiled. The first one he had for this whole tiring day for him.

"Sungyeol ah!" he heard his mom's voice and started running again, tried to find the best place to hide.

Please not again. I'm fine.
