Sejin stepped out of the condo unit she was designing and made her way towards the elevator. She gathered her hair in a tight bun as she arrived at the lobby.

Then her phone began to ring.

“Lunch?” A deep voice said in a light tone. She smiled.

“Where?” She asked.

“Restaurant.”

“Seriously, Samsung?”

Kai chuckled from the other line.

“I’ll pick you up, where are you?”

“It’s fine-”

“Where?” Kai pressed.

Sejin groaned and told him the address.

Sejin made a face at the Audi R8 that pulled in front of her, she opened the door and slipped in the car.

“Where to?” She asked.

“Since you had Chinese yesterday, what about Japanese today?”

She nodded, Kai smiled and stepped on the gas.

“Was yesterday some sort of a prenup meal?” He smirked.

“Don’t start with me, Kim Jongin.”

Kai chuckled.

“Should we invite Lay with us?” He said out of courtesy.

“No, I don’t even know where he is right now.” She shrugged. Kai hid his smiled and nodded.

Lay flexed his neck as he stepped out of the meeting room, he made his way towards his office while checking his phone. He was about to call Sejin when he pushed the doors open and found Heejin inside. He blinked.

“You’re here.” He smiled at her and placed his phone back in his pocket.

“You were about to call me?” Heejin smiled and stood up to hug him.

“Oh…Yeah.” He fibbed and nodded at her. Lay let her go and sat down.

“What brings you here?” He asked.

“It’s been a while since we went out together, should we go out for lunch?”

“So, how’s life going for you, LG?” Kai asked he took a bite from his sushi.

“Honestly, I don’t know.”

“Are and Lay on good terms now? You said you had some sort of-”

“I guess, we kind of are. He got annoyed at me for always pushing him to his girlfriend.” She replied and took a long sip from her juice.

“It doesn’t bother you? Seeing them together?”

Sejin choked lightly.

“Why—would it bother me?”

Kai shook his head at her and passed her a napkin.

“What if people see them again? Then it would be the talk of the town.”

“Well, life is about taking risks.” She smiled. Kai looked at her thoughtfully.

“Yes, maybe you’re right.” He smiled back.
