We entering the Haedangwha Complex. Chaerin just give me 3 hours for me to shopping. She seems exshausted and not in mood maybe because of the kiss scene with Tae Soon yesterday. She didnt slept inside our room. This morning Matt told me he going to fetch Chaerin at her office. So, I guess she's sleeping at her office. I dont know if she mad or what so over. Neither one of us talking to each other.   "Give me 5 hours... 3 hours is not enough." I start protest. Chaerin throwing me her dead glance. "3 hours. We dont have much time. We need to going back to Sinuiju."    I scoffed as protest. I grab Matt wrist and drag him enetering the shopping complex. Harin follow us from behind while Chaerin just relax and walking slowly behind us. Me and Matt entering the cellphone shop,then entering The Times World shop,grab 2 watch and then grabbing my own things at some of the boutique. In this short of times I cant be choosy, I just take and pay anything that I want.   "20 minutes left" Her voice behind me. I hissed.   "Help me to find Triumph P.S I Love You."   Chaerin frowning. "U love me?" My blood running to my cheeks immediately.   "Ah...No.. Its a lingerie shop. Nevermind. I look for it by myself. Wait." Then I walk around the complex building rushingly. Luckily I found the shop. I grab a dozen of lingerie and pay it before running back to Chaerin who waiting for us outside the complex.   "What was on the top floor?"   "Food court and games." Chaerin answer with her cold voice.   "Lets go there."   Chaerin staring deeply into my eyes. "Its not neccessary. We dont have time."   "Please..." I plead. I was just so curious.   "Okay. Just 15 minutes. I ask Matt to bring ur things to the car." Then she talk with Matt with her y French tones. Matt nodded and heading away toward the car. We entering the complex again with Harin following us. As we stepping inside the court games I was surprise witnessing the scenario in front of us. By their face I can tell that Harin and Chaerin is uncomfortable.   Its really a food court but they made it look like a club or something. Ladies and gentleman flirting with each other while drinking alcohol. In short, its like a brothel than food court and alot of them is not a Korean,I guess they are Chinese because from their look they are different than Korean. Chaerin and Harin frozen,looking towards the same direction. I shift my head looking at the same direction,then I saw a pretty and y girl flirting with a young guy.    The guy grab her and the girl just chuckling happily. The guy kissing her neck and the girl willingly angel her neck giving the guy to access her neck more.   I look to Chaerin. Her face changed as same as Harin. Whats wrong with them? I look again to the girl,then I remember. Oh! That girl! The girl inside the frame with Chaerin at Paris. My curiousity towards the girl become more eager. Who is her? What is their relationship? Then the girl look up at us and shock as she saw Chaerin and Harin. She is really beautiful in real!   The guy look at us too and asking something to her. But she didnt answer. She just ducking her head dragging the guy trying to escape from the place. The guy suddenly yelling at her and slap her face when the girl didnt answer him. I cluntch my teeth. This is rude, man! How dare u slap a weak girl! I was about to walk toward them when Chaerin grab my hand.   "Lets go." Her cold voice greeting my ear drum.   "U know her,right?"    Chaerin didnt answer. She letting go my hand. I look at the couple again. She crying while shouting Chaerin name when the guy dragged her. Then someone pulled me roughly and hug me from behind. Chaerin turn her body quickly. Harin run toward Chaerin and hiding behind her back. The smell of alcohol from his breath making me disgusted. I try to release myself but he is just too strong.   "Let her go!" Chaerin shouting but the guy just laughing like a devil. He took out his knife and point it to Chaerin speak something in Chinese while giving his hand sign asking her to leave but Chaerin just frozen there with her red and mad face. The guy my neck. I try to hurt him with my elbow but he press the knife on my neck. Chaerin shout again. She took something from her waist and point the pistol towards us. Pistol?! All this while I never know that she have a pistol with her. The guy didnt even scare, instead he laugh then his man stood up. Around 20 of them. Okay. Now I can really sense a dangerous. Chaerin hand her phone to Harin asking her to call someone. Maybe Matt.   She speak to the guy with their languages. This girl is really something. She even know how to speak Chinese. They discuss about something. The guy answer her then Chaerin face become more intense with madness. She walking towards us slowly while pointing her pistol. The guy notice it making him shout to Chaerin and pressing the knife a bit deep to my neck, Chaerin stop immediately. I gasp. Suffocated. They yelling to each other until finally Chaerin pulled the triger and shot toward our direction. I close my eyes as I can see a Death Angel waving to me. No! No! Chaerin is not that crazy to shot me!   Then I felt the guy grip on me lossen. I took the opportunity and giving him a back kick. I run towards Chaerin. The guy got shot on his left arm. Chaerin is such a good shooter! His man trying to attack us but Chaerin threatened them by shooting the air making the crowded running away from the food court.   Matt come and Chaerin yelling something to him. He grab Harin wrist and they run away. One of the man trying to take the chances to attacking her but end with groaning on floor while bleeding by Chaerin fast act. He got shot on his stomach.   "Are u ready?" She ask me, breathless. I'm confused. "Ready for what?"   "Run. I cant fight them. There are so many of them." She answer but her eyes still guarding those mans.   "I dont have other choice Chaerin." With that, Chaerin release another shot to nowhere. "Run!!" She shout and grabbing my hand. She hold my hand really tight. So tight until I felt my palm is hurt. We running out from the place as fast as we could. The guy chasing us from behind. But unfortunately, I bumped with someone making my hand slipped away from Chaerin strong grip and I fell on the floor. I'm getting breathless when the guy is getting close. Noticing she has missed me, Chaerin running back to me and grab my hand.   "Come on! Fast!" She yelled. I get up with my remaining strength. I look at my back and saw one of the guy throwing a knife toward Chaerin.   "Chaerin!!" I shout her name loudly. Chaerin seems understand,she avoiding the knife fast. Fuh! But the knife manage to slice her lovely left cheek a bit. I feel it again inside me. The same pain on my cheek when I saw her bleeding. Its make me weak. I only realize when Chaerin carrying me and running out from the complex. The same time Matt is already waiting inside the car ready to speed away. Chaerin open the door and throw me inside the car and she get inside and close the door quickly. Matt speed the car fast.   She release a breathless sigh. Relieved.   "Are..u okay?" I asked stuttered. I wipe the blood on her cheek with my thumb.   "Yeah. It just a small wound. Dont worry." She answer and wipe the remaining blood with her hand. I look at the blood on my thumb and then I it.   "Hey! What are u doing?!" Chaerin shocked.   "Its ur blood. A precious blood of urs. I cant waste it." Chaerin seems speechless with my answer,she look away. We fetch Mama Lin at hotel. Once she inside the car and saw Chaerin wound,her expression changed immediately.   "What happen to ur face?" Her mother voice  come. I was about to answer her then Chaerin cut me off.   "Dont worry Mom. Just a small wound. I'm just careless. I tripped and yeah..I got this wound." I widened my eyes.    She's lying!   "Aigoo Lee Chaerin. Next time please be careful. I dont want something bad happen to u. U know it well." Mama Lin sounds frustrated. She is just phobia. She is afraid to face another dead. I know it too. I look at Chaerin with my guilty face. This wont happen if I didnt insist to go to the top floor. Mama Lin wiped Chaerin bloood with a small towel while Chaerin is sleeping.   That night after dinner, I start the interview session with Harin about what happened at the shopping complex. Chaerin is nowhere to found. She just send us in front of the house and then she gone with her motorbike. Seems like something really distrubing her mind and thats make me more curious.   "Harin, who is that girl at the complex?" I slowly ask when we inside my room,afraid if Mama Lin heard our conversation.   "She is...." Harin hesitate. Maybe she afraid if I ask Chaerin about it.   "Just tell me Harin. I promise I wont tell Chaerin."   Harin nodded slowly. "That girl is my cousin. She is a half Chinese and half Korean. She close with Chaerin unnie before because they study together at France for 1 year and a half. Before her Dad died, he asking something from Dad." Harin paused again making me impatient.   "Asking what?"   "His Dad asking for Chaerin unnie. I mean he wants Chaerin to be his daughter in law. Eun Joo making up story. She said Chaerin unnie has touched her during their stay at France. All the Lee descent mocking us because of that. Chaerin unnie keep denying but Eun Joo is a good actress.
