After a few days since Sulli’s and Key’s date, Kris hasn’t been chasing Sulli. Instead, Kris has been preparing on how he is going to win Sulli’s heart one last time. Amber is on her way to meet up with Henry. By chance, Amber bumps into Kris who was pacing back and forth on whether his decision would be right. Kris looks completely out of place in this family neighborhood and is drawing attention. They are both surprise seeing each other after that one awkward moment they had days before.

Looking at Kris, Amber saw how different he looks from any other days. He is dress more formal than his usual casual choice of clothes with his white collar shirt and black suit. In his hands he held a bouquet of red roses of roughly two dozen roses beautifully wrapped and decorated with a pink ribbon. Amber is dress in her usual boyish clothes.

“You look good today, but are you sure about this?” Amber asks knowing exactly what Kris is thinking about doing.

Kris looks at Amber with confidence. “I’m sure. If she rejects me this last time then I’ll make myself scarce.”

“Okay but I can’t guarantee you anything.”

“I know. Thank you for allowing me to have this opportunity anyways.”

“Good luck.” Amber said as she gives Kris a pat on the back which he responds back with a nod and a slight smile on his face.

“Wait. Can you call her for me? I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to meet her today.”

“Alright.” Amber said then she texts Sulli: “Come to the park near the cake shop. Meet at the water fountain.” Looking at Kris, Amber said, “It’s all up to you now. Go to the park near the cake shop. In the park, stand by the water fountain.”

“Cake shop, water fountain, okay, alright. Thanks again.”

“Wait, why don’t I go with you? I’m heading to the cake shop anyways.”

“Sure, I don’t mine.”

Henry was already at the cake shop waiting for Amber. “She asks me to come and meet her here, why isn’t she here. Amber’s never late.” Henry turns to Donghae, “Do you know why Amber asks me to meet her here today?”

“I don’t know. Maybe to ask you about her love trouble.” Donghae reply.

“Love trouble, Amber.” Henry said feeling surprise at that thought. “I can’t think of Amber having love problem.”

“How can you be so sure? Are you that trouble at the thought of it?”

“Forget I asked anything.” Henry said in a calm tone as he feels frustrated at the thought of Donghae words.

Finally arrive at the cake shop Amber said, “Here’s my stop. Good luck Kris.”

Kris is moved with Amber’s Kindness and gave Amber a deep bow and in a loud tone he said, “Thank you Amber. I’ll never forget your kindness.”

Just as Kris finished talking, Henry opens the door and grabs Amber by the arm pulling her beside him. To Henry’s surprise Kris didn’t respond to his glare, instead he walks off in the opposite direction. “What’s his problem?”

“I would ask about you right now.” Amber said shaking off Henry’s grip on her wrist.

“What was he doing?” Henry’s eyes show a slight sadness in them. What was I doing? What am I afraid of?

Amber looks at Kris with eyes of pity. “To take his last shot to make Sulli fall for him. I don’t think I’ll be able to see him after this anymore.”

Henry couldn’t help but feel more trouble with the way Amber is currently looking at Kris. Is Amber in love with him?

From inside the cake shop Donghae yells, “Are you coming in or not?”

Both Henry and Amber said in harmony, “Coming.” They look at each other and laugh.

“Donghae, the usual.” Amber said.

“Same for me, the ususal.” Henry said.

Amber sat down with a sugar coated donut and Henry with a chocolate coated vanilla cake. They sat across each other.

“Ah delicious.” Amber said with a large smile beaming from her face as she took a bite. The sugar glaze smudges on her cheek after each bite.

“You eat so much like a kid.” Henry said as he wipes the sugar glaze off her face with his bare hands. Without realizing it, Henry ate the sugar glaze off of his finger. She looks cute today, I wonder why. She isn’t dress any different than any other day.

“You two look like an old married couple.” Donghae said surprising Henry while Amber remains unaffected.

Amber angrily said, “What are you trying to say? Henry is my friend.” Looking at Henry for support Amber calls out his name. “Henry.”

Henry couldn’t stop his heartbeat from rising and he couldn’t face Amber at the moment. Doing his best to hide his expression he hid his head while saying, “You’re right Amber, you’re right.”

“See.” Amber said proudly.

“Amber.” Henry said with hesitation.

“Yeah.”

“Why did you ask me to come meet you today? Is something wrong?”

“No nothing at all.” Amber said hesitantly.

“I see. You call me out of the blue to come meet you and this is what I get.”

“Can you at least face me when you talk to me?” Amber said as she was getting angry.

“Will you tell me the truth?”

“I’ve been feeling uneasy lately.”

“About…?”

“I… I can’t say it.” Amber said as her face turns red.

“About Kris is it?”

Amber face turns white as she struggles to say, “No.” Do I like Kris?

“Come on let’s go play some table tennis. Maybe then your head will cool down then.” Henry said when he realizes he is only stressing Amber out. “Don’t worry. I’m only joking.”

Amber laughs hesitantly.

“Don’t act like that.” Henry said to Amber. She turns to Donghae. “Donghae, thanks for the cake.”

Both Amber and Henry left to head out to play table tennis.

Kris stood alone for fifteen minutes and no Sulli in sight. It’s a good idea Amber told me to wait here. There are not a lot of people staring at me and not a lot of people around either.

Sulli finally arrive to the park fifteen minutes later after Amber had texted her. “Where is Amber?” When she looks around she saw Kris in formal clothes, white shirt in a dark suit. Sulli is surprise how handsome Kris looks. One look and Sulli knew, Amber texted her to meet Kris.

When Kris saw Sulli, he was so happy she show up he was about to run to her. Then Kris remembers that Sulli doesn’t think of him in that manner so he resisted running and hugging Sulli. He walks up to Sulli with a bouquet of red roses held behind his back.

“Sulli.” Kris said nervously. “I would like to give you a gift.” He reveals the flowers he hid behind his back and held it in front of himself. “These are for you.”

A bright smile grew on Sulli’s face as she reaches out to touch the flowers. “I’m sorry.” She pushes the flowers away as her smile turns sour. “I can’t accept these flowers. I’m not in love with you and our personality is completely the opposite. I want to fall in love with a guy who has similar interests as I do. Even if I fall for you, we would only break up sooner or later.”

“Thank you for considering my feelings.” Kris said with a smile to cover the sadness in his heart. “I am happy to have met you. I am happy you didn’t use me. I am happy you consider not breaking my heart.”

Sulli could see the sadness in Kris’s heart. “I’m happy to have known I have someone love me as much if not more than my sister. I guess this is good bye for good.”

“Yes. Good bye.” Kris said with an unfading smile, doing his best to hide everything in his heart. He turns away from Sulli and walks slowly away with the bouquet still in hand.

“Kris.” Sulli couldn’t help but pity Kris. I know why Amber told him he could try to make me fall for him. He looks so pitiful, like a lost puppy. I wonder if this is how she fell for him and not know about it. Both of them seem so alike.

Kris fell into the water fountain and is now soaking wet from head to toe. He got up drench in water and continues walking with the flowers still in his hand. All Sulli could do is watch. If Sulli were to help him Kris, he wouldn’t be able to let her go, making him think he still have a chance with Sulli despite what she had told him. So Sulli did nothing but walk away.

When Amber came home she was refresh and without of worries. “I’m home Amber announce. Hi umma, when did you get home?”

“We already ate. Did you eat yet?” Amber’s mom said.

“Yeah I ate with my friends. Where’s Sulli?”

“Sulli is in bed. Did something happen earlier in the day?”

“No I’m sure it’s nothing.”

Amber went to the room she shared with Sulli. There Sulli is snuggles up in her blanket. From that sight alone Amber knew Sulli is feeling depress about something and that something might have to do with Kris. The thought of Kris makes Amber’s heart ache. Why am I thinking about him now? He and I have nothing to do with each other.

The sounds of footsteps make Sulli yell out without knowing who it was. “Umma, leave me alone. I don’t want to talk to anyone right now.”

“Not even your beloved unni.” Amber said in a loving voice as she sits beside Sulli.

“Unni!” Sulli said trying to confirm her suspicions. When she opens her blanket to check who it was, it was Amber. At the site of Amber Sulli quickly hugs her as tears stream down her face. “Unni. Unni I feel…” She hiccups as she struggles to let out words from . “I, I…”

“Slow down Sulli. Don’t rush yourself. I’ll be here with you as long as you want.” Amber rubs Sulli back to calm her down.

“I feel like I’m a bad person for breaking his heart.”

“That wasn’t your fault.”

“But I...”

“No Sulli. You did your best and you did well. No matter what, when you reject someone love for you they will more than likely get their heart broken. It is better that you broke his heart now than to string him along.”

“String him along?” Sulli said curiously as she prop herself up to sit properly.

“You know, give him the expectations that you would fall for him even when you will never fall for him.”

“In other words, using him.”

“I knew my little Sulli have a good heart. Sorry I have to put you through all of this.”

“I learn to have more patience. When I rejected him, I almost fell for him.” Sulli pause for a moment then said, “When he’s sad, he have eyes like a lost puppy.”

“Really?” Amber said feeling a bit sad.

“Do you have his number?”

“Yeah, why? Do you want him back after he left?”

“If you like him, go get him.”

“What made you think I’ll miss him?”

“You always ask about him.”

“Do I?”

“You two really are alike. Refusing to give up even when it will cost you your heart.” Sulli covers her head and went to sleep after a good cry.

“Sulli, what do you mean? Are you saying I like him? That I love him.” Amber started to yell refusing to accept Sulli’s judgment. “Sulli!” Still Sulli refuses to budge and Amber gave up soon after. In a dejected voice Amber says, “How am I going to fall asleep tonight?”

From the Author: I really want to write another Krisber story with Keyber, and maybe a Dongber. I'll keep up with two stories for now and wait until later before starting a new story. I like to build up the story so planning ahead is a must for me. Otherwise I can't write.

I wonder how Amber will look in Chad Future's music video. Will she sing or rap? There are so many good things coming up this year. Go f(x)!!!
