Sungjae POV;

 

I opened my eyes.. adjusting it to the beam of lights flashing into my eyes. 

I stared at the perfect woman i love right infront of me.. The woman whom i never ever want to forget

I looked around me.. It seems like it was the night time... 

Well at least i think it was.

I moved my hands and touched the face i missed so much

She moved.

" I'm tired stop touching me.. " she grumbled

" Haejin... Your in a position that'll make your body pain when you wake up. "

" I know oppa.. let me sleep..." she shifted

" But this is really an awkward position for you...... Let me see your face... I miss you sooo much... " i greasily said

" I miss you too oppa.. " there she is again.... she must be dreaming...

I mentally counted

 

' 5...............4................3..........2.........1.........'

 

" YOOK SUNGJAE ! " She exclaimed staring at me in shock..

I shivered at the sudden outburst

" yo-your a-awake!! " her eyes were as big as a fishball

i stiffled a laughter and held her hand

" im still a patient my dear.. please dont scream?? " i smiled

"Now , would you do the honour and get me a glass of water? Sleeping so long makes me sooo dry.. " i gestured

" oppa..." was the only thing she said before passing me a glass of water and fed me.

She stared at me as if she was in disbelief.

I pinched her cheeks

" UGH! what was that for... ??" she asked

" Your questioning yourself whether this is true or not.. And i'm proving it to you that it is true... " 

" oppa..... " she hugged me tightly

" pain.... " i groaned as she accidentally pressed the bruise area.

" Sorry!! " she backed off... " i'll go call the doctor and our family now " 

" wait!! my kiss!!! " i asked for it but she ran out already.

This girl!!! 

 

Suddenly a bunch of noisy people came running into my room. 

" OMG MY SON!" I heard my mom and dad exclaimed as they ran in.

" Appa... Omma... " I smiled

my mom wouldn't stop kissing me 

" Omma... Haejin will get jealous... " i laughed

She punched me instead

" OUR MAKNAEE! " i heard my hyungs enthusiatically cheered

"HYUNG! I MISSED U!" i cried

" We missed you more !!! " they held my hand tightly.

I stared at the beautiful scene infront of me.

The ones i love are all around me

I thank god.. He gave me this chance to come back

I earned this chance..

The sufferings i had up that was worth it... 

As the doctor was inspecting me, i heard a faint call

" Sungjae... " i opened my eyes and darted it to where the sound came from

' Daddy god.. ' i spoke with my eyes.

" that's right my son! make full use of this chance! be a better person! I know you miss your family so much!! Here they are now. Remember what i've said to you after the ending of your three strenuous mission!" he spoke

I stared at him with gratitude

' thank you god! Thank you grandma.! Thank you for trusting in me ' As i said it to him , he slowly disappeared.

And they were.. My family... They stood infront of me

" Oppa.... " Haejin came forward.

" yeah?? " i asked

she carried the two kids up

" Call appa! " she motioned them

" Apppa! " they cooed

My kids.. My only son and daughter...

I stared at them and smiled

" My kids... " i said.

They sat on my bed.. each holding onto one of my hand

" Let's not ruin this family reunion... " Eunkwang hyung laughed and pulled everybody out.

" Oppa..... I missed you so much... " Haejin lunged forward and kissed me... INFRONT OF OUR KIDS!

" yah! your teaching bad things to our kids...! " i scolded her

" Nope!! they are learning good things... they are learning that i love you.. " She laughed

I saw her pluck out her phone..

" what are you doing? " 

" Oppa... let's make a video and post it on instagram for your fans ... " she said something foreign to me

" Inst-what? " i asked

" You have a lot to catch up my dear husband.! just say something to your fans!! I'll start!!"

 

 

She faced the camera to herself and put on a 'fake' sad face,

" To all Melodies........." she let a tear stroll down her face

" I've got a news to share...." she paused the video and turned it to both of us.

" OUR SUNGJAE IS AWAKEE!! " she exclaimed and hugged me

i stared at her in horror!

" say smth to your fans!! faster! "

" to all my fans! Im back!!!! Thank you for being such amazing and caring fans worrying for me.. Now your worries can stop!!! " i smiled 

Just then the video stopped capturing

" WOW! OUR TIMING WAS GOOOD! " she smiled

" what is that about.." i asked

" you see.. we can post pictures and videos on this app.. called instagram.. and fans all over the world can see it.. " she smiled " this is the fastest way to get the news out and for people to believe in us... "

" oh!! your such a smart girl!!! " 

" Smile hubby!!! " i pulled our kids in for the family shot as she posted it on twitter.. tweeting in korean , chinese and english.... 

" My girl is soo smart!  " i hugged her

" Glad you know that now.. I learnt a lot while you were in your lalaland! " she smiled

" oppa.... " she called

" yes?? " i looked at her

" Nothing.. i just missed calling you and hearing your response... " she hugged me

" Omma.. Im tired...... " we heard Sungjin said..

" Aww come daddy take you to your sleep!! " i hugged her in my arms and pat her to sleep

I stared at my wife...

My wife who carrying our son , patting him to sleep.

' i love my family so much. '

I stared at my wife.

The one who makes me complete.

I stared at my wife.

" Thank you for being here with me" i spoke 

 

She glanced over at me, " your welcome... I'll stay by you forever " 

" Isn't this like a fairy tale? We have a happy ending now! " i asked

" Not yet... We need to get you fully recovered and i'll bring you to somewhere... Somewhere that you'll love and that is called happy ending! " she smiled

" I wanna get well soon and get to that place!!!! " i exclaimed

" SHHH! KIDS ARE SLEEPING! " 

i pat the empty space beside me

" why? "

" sleep with me tonight.. i miss having you by my side... "

" sungjae.... " she leaned forward into my embrace.. i hugged her tightly..

" Haejin uh.. " 

" mmhm?? " 

" what god said was true... Your someone that is the key to my life... without you.... i'm nothing "

" God?? what do you mean? "

" When i was in coma.... I was apparently in heaven...... It was......a journey i made with god to come back here. "

" you mean.....you met god? "

" he gave me the chance to come back.. "

" how? "

" your prayers helped babe... " i stopped " I saw grandma... she wants to see us have a happy ending... "

" oppa... Fill me up with whatever happened....... " she commanded

" is that a request or a command? " i laughed

" Command i suppose? " she laughed " I met grandma tooo.. in my sleep.. she kept reminding me to not stop praying for you... " 

" really?? wow! grandma what was grandma wearing in your dream? " i questioned

" red... " she replied

*its the truth*

" wow! i saw her in red too...." *why am i doubting her... ugh!!!* i exclaimed

" Oppa.... your doubting me aren't you? "

" you can read minds? " i raised my voice

" Nope.. but as your wife... how can i not know you? Oppa... have you forgotten my contacts with such spiritual things? " she reminded me

" Ohhh yeah.... i forgot... " i hid in embarrassement

 

" Stupid boy... sleep now!! We can get you discharged tomorrow if you rest well tonight... " she reminded me

" Dont leave me ok? Sleep with me" She hugged me tighter as i said it

" I wont.. So sleep ! Nights my dear husband" She cooed before pecking my lips....

" I love you Yook Hae Jin! "

It has been a month since i've last posted... People questioned my mia... well i am back...

It is because i happened to start freaking out about my results that weren't optimal...

I'm still failing in my science and i left 39 days before my nationals...

Im freaking out now >< I'll still try my best to update since i'm finally out from my writer's block...

 

Im sorry for the long wait and i am very thankful that all of you stood beside me and waited for me

 

NONE OF YOU LEFT!! I WAS SOO TOUCHED WHEN I SAW THAT MY SUBSCRIBERS DID NOT DECREASED BUT INSTEAD INCREASED! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

 

I HOPE MY ENDING WON'T DISAPPOINT ALL OF YOU...^^
