Haejin's POV

 

" May i know which room is Mr yook SungJae in? " i asked the nurse

" Block B , Ward 26" she told me and directed me

" Ah. Thank you.. " I immediately walked quickly towards my destination with Kevin oppa.

I felt super anxious and my speed accelerates .

" Slow down! Every thing is going to be fine Haejin... " Kevin oppa told me

" I know.. But im worried oppa.. I don't want to lose him.. I don't want my kids to be fatherless. " I explained as we walked

" He won't leave with all the unfinished business ! Believe me , he must be overworking himself that caused him to be like this.. " he assured

I shrugged as we slowly stepped into his ward.

" Ha-Haejinnie? " I heard Eunkwang oppa called me

" op-ppa.. " I greeted..

5 pairs of eyes were burning me , they were all shocked with my sudden appearence. Except Peniel who already knew about it.

" I am here to see Sungjae oppa.. " I told them

They were in a state of shock that none spoke but just moved away to let me go near SungJae.

Peniel called Kevin oppa out for a talk.

I sat beside Sungjae and held his hands

* Oppa.. Please wake up.. What happened? I am really sorry. *

As i was talking to oppa , the others coughed and caught my attention.

" Why are u here? " Changseob oppa asked

" Why so cold? " i replied

" You practically left Sungjae.. i mean. ALL of us.. and now your here ?" he stated

" I think you should check on what exactly happened before pointing fingers against me saying it is all my fault... " I retorted

" yah! yah! keumanhae (stop) ! " Hyunsik oppa said. " haejin.. aren't you going to give oppa a hug? "

he spreaded out his arms , awaiting for me to hug him.

I walked over and hugged him tightly.. I miss his hugs

" I am sorry oppas... I didn't want to leavee.... It is just .... i have my difficulties and decided to leave. Please forgive me" I pleaded.

They softened as they saw me cry. I knew that when i cry , i would hit their soft spots.

" oppa forgives you ok? " they came over and hugged me

" I am sorry jinne... Where have you been to ? " changseob oppa hugged me and cried

" I have been away for awhile.. I am going to be back now... I miss all of you... "

I confessed...

 

They led me out to the cafe and we sat there to have our small little chat..

*where have Kevin oppa went?* i wondered

just then " OH! You guys were here!" Peniel and Kevin oppa came back

" where have you been? " i asked Kevin

" Ahh! i had a small talk with Peniel.. Clarified everything... " He said

" Ah.. Oppas.. THis is Ukiss' Kevin! " i introduced them to each other

" Is he? "

" Ani... he is my god brother .... He is Dongwoo oppa's god brother.. They are very good friends.. and slowly Kevin oppa became someone close to me.. Three of us were christians and we decided to make each other's god sibling.. He is like another oppa even without the same surname as dongwoo oppa and i. " i confessed

" So... that means.... You guys aren't married? " ilhoon oppa questioned

" of course silly! How can we be married when what we have between each other is only brother sister love? " I laughed

" Then sungjae told us about a little boy? " Minhyuk oppa asked

" Ah... When i left , i realised i was pregnant with another child.. Sungjae's child.. Sungjae did not allow me to explain it to him and he just left me just like that.. So he has misunderstood every thing about it.. "

" Can we see them ? " Eunkwang asked

" Of course! I'll bring them here tomorrow! " i smiled

 

we called that day off as we defeated to our beds that very night..

* I am going to bring my kids to tell sungjae about it.. let them know who their father is.... *

 

 

Next Day...

 

" Haejin! We are back at our hotel with Sungjae.. He has been discharged. YOu want to come over with the kids? "

" ok Peniel oppa. i'll be there in 30mins... " i told him

I rushed off to the kids' room and told them that we were going to see their appa today....

They were elated.. Especially Sungjin.. She has always wanted to see him...

As we were walking towards the dorm, i saw Sungjae.

" OPPA!" i called him

he turned around and saw me

" haejin.. " he spoke

" Call appa!! " I told my kids

" APPA! " Sungjin squealed and ran to him, hugging his legs.

"app-pp-paa" My little boy tried to mouthed the words out

" what are you talking about? " his eyes nearly boggled out

" Sungjin ah. Remember what omma told you? About your appa? This is your real appa . He is the one you have been searching for for such a long time.. " I said

"Haejin! Are you ok? " he carried her up..

" I know sungjin is my daughter.. But how is Sunghyun my son? I don't believe... " his tears threated to fall

" oppa.. When i left , i was carrying another child.. I didn't know... But when i found out , i decided to give birth to him since you've always wanted a son.. It's also god's gift.. I can't just abandon it.."

" I dont believe.... Dont lie! How can this be true! He isn't my son! Liar! "

" How can i be lying to you!? "

" Your with kevin hyung now! You don't love me anymore.. What is the use of telling me this? "

" i love you as always... I never did waver! Kevin oppa is my god brother ! "

" Liar! " with that , he put Sungjin down and ran away.

" SUNGJAE OPPA! " i chased after him along with my two kids....

As i ran , i saw Hyunsik oppa walking by. I passed my kids to him without giving him time for questions and i ran towards Sungjae... He wasn't far away just yet...

I was nearing already. Just a few more steps.. Faster Haejin!!!

I ran with all my might..

Just then i heard a loud HONK!

The next thing i knew, i saw myself rolling on the ground. Sungjae turned around and was froze to the ground before reacting to come towards me.

Before i drifted into my sleep , i heard

" haejin... I am sorry... "

" How dare you doubt me oppa... I always loved you.... Why did i even love you in the first place? " I went into darkness after i spoke and I heard Sungjae apologzing to me after what i said

 

 

SUNGJAE'S POV:

 

" CALL THE AMBULANCE! NOW!!! CALLL!" I asked the people around me to call the ambulance....

" WHAT JUST HAPPENED? " I heard hyunsik hyung.

 I looked up as i carried Haejin in my arms.

" hyung.. I've hurt haejin again... "

" OMMA!! " I heard Sungjin crying as she shook Haejin awake.

i told hyunsik hyung to call the other hyungs to go to the hospital when we were inside the ambulance.

* Please be alright Haejin.. Please! *

She was wheeled into the theatre to get her operation done..

" What happened? " I heard a guy rushed over

i turned around and saw Kevin hyung

" kevin hyung.. Your wife is inside ahving an operation.. She just met an accident " I told him casually

" WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER! I SWEAR I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO LAY MY HANDS ON YOU AFTER SOOOO LONG! AND FYI! SHE ISN'T MY WIFE! SHE IS MY GOD SISTER! " he shouted at me

" god sister? " i repeated... haejin was speaking the truth all the while!

I stepped backwards till i reached the wall and fell on my knees

" i am sorry haejin. I am sorry. " i cried as i hugged my knees.

What have i done.. Why didnt i trust her? Why did i do that?

She is the one i love , how can i have such little trust in her?

Kevin hyung came towards me and pat my shoulder

" Nothing is ever to late. When she wakes up, explain to her and apologize... She is a girl with a big heart , she will forgive you... " He said

" Hyung... I am sorry for causing such a problem.. I am sorry for bringing pain for her.. I am nothing but a pain in the .... " i cried

 

 

 

Soon , after 7 hours , the operation was over....

I stood up and an towards the doctor..

" Is she alright? " that was the first thing that came out of my mouth.

" She is safe now. But i am pretty such she will be having memory lost.. Be it temporary or permanent. We can only know it after she wakes up." he concluded

" Alright  thank you doctor."

We left off towards her ward... I felt petrified..

Afraid of what i am going to witness later..

How is she going to look like.. Is her condition bad? Will she remember me?

" Don't worry .. Just go in and see her alright? "

We slowly neared towards her ward , the members were standing by the door.. Waiting for me to open the door... They want me to be the first to see Haejin.

I lifted up my hands slowly...

I touched the door knob.. Getting ready to open it.

" HAEJIN!! HAEJIN!! " I heard people shouting..

I turned to my left and saw Infinite hyungs rushing towards us..

I stood in fear... Are they going to kill me?

" OPEN THE DOOR! " I heard Dongwoo hyung shouted

i stood in fear and slowly regained my senses and walked into the room... 

I stood in horror as the rest rushed in to look at Haejin....

Her state... I am sorry.........Haejin... I don't deserve to be with you ! I don't deserve your never ending love...
