If That's What You Want
Description
It was a pact.
It was something they have no control over; they can't complain, they can't back out, all they can do is agree.
It was the decision that will blossom into something wonderful, beautiful and excruciatingly painful.
What would their fates be?

As the day comes to its end, two tightly-bonded childhood friends are spending their leisure time drinking a cup of exuberant tea in one of their rest house in Jeju. The Lee Family is known for being the richest, traditional family in Korea, and the two Lee’s are taking a break from all the eyes of the society.
“Dong Hyun-ah, do you remember our promise when we were little?” Hyuk Soo asked, as he placed his tea cup on the table gently, while waiting for his friend’s answer.
Dong Hyun, upon hearing his dear friend’s question had a smile on his face. “Of course. I might look old but my brain cells haven’t deteriorated a bit. My memory is as sharp as a samurai sword,” he joked.
Hyuk Soo smiled at his friend with amazement. With their old age, he is amused how his friend can still act so cocky even if they’re already 86 years old. He let out a chuckle, “Really? Would you mind telling it, then?”
“We swore to be a part of one family,” Dong Hyun answered and Hyuk Soo continued.
“And that is only possible with---”
“Marriage.” They said in unison.
“But our sons are already married and Shin Ji just had their first kid, Heechul. And my son just came home from his honey moon,” Hyuk Soo said.
“It’s easy. My son, Shin Jin and his wife, Min Hae are planning to have their second child 2-3 years from now, and I heard Jung Won and Na Min wanted to have their first child 2-3 years from now, too, so we’ll just let their off springs be married.”
“But we don’t even know what the genders will be. What if they turned out to be both girls? Or boys?” Hyuk Soo questioned his friend.
“Hyuk Soo-ah, our family has never been the type to be judgmental and we know that there are things we can’t control, like love, and it is a tradition to fulfill promises made so we need to do it, regardless of their gender, they need to be one in matrimony to seal our pact and be a part of a family,” Dong Hyun explained.
“Yes. Of course, you’re right. So, when do we tell them?”
“Tomorrow. We tell all of them before we return to our exhausting lives.”
