Krystal walked with Myungsoo as both of them arrived in school. While walking to her locker, she spotted a tall, cocky boy blocking it.

“Krystal Jung! I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” Minho said, mockingly.

“I’ll see you in class.” Myungsoo mumbled.

“Sure, later.” Krystal replied and turned to face the boy she hated.

“I didn’t know he talked.”

 “What do you want, Choi Minho?”

“The reason why you bailed on me? I cancelled all my plans for you and you think you can just come along and cancel our meeting too?” Psh, what plans? Didn’t you have fun flirting with me?

“Don’t feed me rubbish, frog. Shouldn’t you be happy that I cancelled our ‘meeting’?”

“W-well, I was happy! I just wanted to tell you that you can’t just make decisions by yourself.” He stuttered, slightly shocked by Krystal’s reply.

“Yeah. Thought so.”

“So do I have to meet you somewhere today?”

“Right. I did some research alone so I have most of the information already. We’ll meet up at the café down the road for discussion. Do you agree or do you want to pick a place?”

“S-sure, we’ll go with your plan.” Krystal smirked and walked off to her class.

Right after school, Minho set out to the café where he is going to meet Krystal at. I must go there early so she’ll feel guilty leaving me all by myself, ha! He chuckled at the plan he just formed in his mind as he walked past the glass windows to the door of the café. Ah, dammit. Krystal Jung sat at one of the back booths, reading from a magazine, with her headphones on. Just when I had a brilliant plan! He went in and approached the table she sat at.

“I didn’t know the mighty ice princess listens to music.” Krystal looked up. She was bobbing her head to the music she was playing on her iPod.

“What?” She said as she took out her headphones. Minho sighed.

“I didn’t know you listened to music. You seemed like you were enjoying it.”

“Is it a crime?” She rolled her eyes.

“For someone as cold as you, I wouldn’t think that you listened to music.”

“Well, I do. And surprisingly, I love music. So, about the assignment, I thought we could do it like this…”

“Um, excuse me, we’ll be closing in 10 minutes.” Minho shot up. He didn’t realise that he was sleeping. Moreover, in the café!

“Mister?”

“Yeah, yeah. Sorry.”

“And your girlfriend.” What girlfriend? I had no girlfriend. What is she talking abo- Right.

“Sure, we’ll be off.” Minho replied, as the waitress went off, clearly angry that they drooled on the table. He sighed.

“Yah! Wicked witch! Wake up! They’re closing!” Krystal stirred and opened one eye.

“What? Don’t disturb me. Let me sleep.”

“Oh hell no. Get up or you’ll be locked in.”

“Lock me in then.” Minho sighed. This girl.

“Get up!” He took hold of both her arms and tried to pull her up. Krystal finally stood up, sleepily. Minho grabbed her bag and dragged her out of the café, before he gets another comment from the waitress.

“Where do you live? And wake up for God’s sake!” Krystal told him and Minho walked her – and dragged her – back to her house.

Minho rang the bell and to his surprise, Jessica Jung answered the door. So she really is her sister…

“Oh my gosh, lemme take her out of your arms!” Jessica exclaimed. She tugged Krystal and wrapped Krystal’s arm around her shoulder as she supported her.

“I’m so sorry, my sister is like that when she’s sleepy. She hasn’t been able to get much sleep, doing the research and going to that horrible party a few blocks away. I wonder who held it.” Reminds me of Jonghyun’s… “Oh right, and you are?”

“Choi Minho. Krystal’s assignment partner.” He answered, stiffly.

“Ah, I’ve heard of you. Thank you so much for taking care of little Soojung. She’s a handful, isn’t she?” You got that right.

“It wasn’t a problem, really. I’ll get going now, goodnight.”

“Goodnight, Minho. Thank you again.”

Minho walked home silently. That was weird… Jessica was wearing the same dress as the girl at the party… And she mentioned a horrible party… Minho shook his head. I am definitely crazy right now. The girl with the voice and the girl at the party? God. I need a break!
