Tao tensed up. His eyes shot to the door and widen and he dug his nails into Xuimin the sight of the figure, standing with his arms folded at the door. Tao dug his nails into Xuimin’s back and prepared himself for the hell that was about to be let loose. 

Oh. .

Xuimin let go of Tao and turned to face the figure.

“What is it, Chen.” He said coldly.

Chen’s eyes narrowed. “Yes, Xuimin. What is it?”.

Xuimin raised his eyebrows at the question. “I don’t understand.”

“No. Neither do I.”

“CHEN!”

“WHAT?!”

“What the hell do you want?!” Xuimin asked him harshly.

“I want to know why you are in here alone with Tao, confessing that you love him when you said you’d be studying?!”

Tao gulped and looked awkwardly at his hands. Xuimin scoffed.

“I am studying duck-brain!” He said gesturing towards the pile of books on the desk. “Then Tao wanted to have a private and personal talk.”

Tao blushed. He told himself off for cocking up. Again.

“But that doesn’t explain why you love him! I thought you loved me!”

Xuimin groaned.

“You really are stupid Chen, aren’t you? I love Tao, he’s my donsang and I-”

“BUT I’M YOUR DONGSANG TOO!”

“ALL OF YOU ARE MY BLEEDING DONGSANGS, CHEN!”

Chen fell silent.

“But as I was saying,” Xuimin continued. “I love Tao, he’s my donsang just like the rest of you guys and I care for him so much. It hurts me to see him unhappy and I would do anything to make him feel better.”

Xuimin paused and put a hand on Tao’s shoulder. Xuimin’s kind words had made Tao’s eyes water and he furiously tried to blink them back. But to Chen, this was a stab in the chest.

“So what does that mean?”

“That I love Tao.”

“So you don’t love me?”

Anger was boiling in Chen’s veins and he couldn’t help but shout at his lover. Xuimin’s eyes widened in shock.

“You what?!”

“I KNEW IT!”

“What?!”

“YOU NEVER LOVED ME!”

“CHEN!”

“WHAT NOW?!”

Xuimin jumped up from his seat and grabbed the back of Chen’s neck. He pulled the younger harshly to him and kissed him fiercely. Xuimin didn’t let go and ran his fingers through Chen’s clean hair. Chen was reluctant at first, but when Xuimin bit his lower lip he couldn’t help but moan. Kissing him back, the make-out began to get hotter and the couple completely forgot about the poor boy in the room.

Tao was still sitting on the bed, too shocked to speak and on the verge of having a mental breakdown. Watching the couple kiss, he was reminded of what happened earlier that morning and it wasn’t good. It’s not like he was homophobic or against the relationship; he just didn’t want to be in the room when they did it. Tao had to get out of there. And fast.

He started by clearing his throat. They didn’t hear.

He tried coughing. Chen moaned louder.

“Xuimin?” Tao asked.

The older didn’t reply. Tao was thinking of another way to get their attention, without it being awkward. But as soon as Chen slipped his hands down the back of Xuimin’s pants, Tao’s instincts took over.

“OH MY GOD! PLEASE LET ME GO!!”

Just then, the door was brutally kicked open.

“What an Earth is going on in here guys?!”

The couple pushed each other away and tried to smooth out their clothing.  Tao was grateful for his rescuer, but his plan failed. This was the most awkward situation he had ever been in.

“This isn’t what it looks like…” Xuimin began explaining.

Kris stood at the door; arms folded and eyes ablaze. His eyebrows were knitted together and he tapped his foot impatiently.

“Well?”

Xuimin looked guiltily at Chen, mentally debating how to start. Kris scowled at Chen.

“I knew you’d have something to do with this.”

“HEY! It’s not my fault!”

“Then who’s is it?!”

 “THEIRS!” Chen exclaimed, pointing at Tao and Xuimin.

Xuimin held his hands up defensively. “Hey, I was just comforting Tao here before this Troll butted it!”

Chen childishly stuck his tongue out and Xuimin pinched him in return. Kris’s face softened and he looked worriedly towards Tao.

“Is everything alright Tao?”

But before the panda maknae could reply, Xuimin stopped him.

“What Tao and I discussed is confidential. No questions please.”

Kris shot a menacing look at Xuimin. “But I am your leader.”

“But this doesn’t involve you.”

Kris sighed. “Then I guess Chen arrived and you decided to put on a show to cheer him up then?”

All three mouths in room dropped open in shock. Kris smirked.

“I guess I was right then…”

Chen was the first to break. “HEY! I just heard Xuimin tell Tao that he loves him and I just had to make sure that he loves me and only me!”

“So you did that by having in front of Tao?!”

“NO! OH MY GOD KRIS WE ONLY KISSED!”

Kris tutted. Oh how he loves winding up this jealous Troll.

“Fine, fine. So you then forgot about Tao.”

Xuimin bit his lip and nodded. He looked apologetically towards Tao, who responded with a small forgiving smile.

“And that’s who I heard screaming?” Kris asked, his thick eyebrows raised questioningly.  

Tao piped up. “It was me. Sorry Leader.”

Kris smiled at the boy. “Don’t worry Tao; I would have screamed too if I was in your shoes.”

Tao could help but laugh as Xuimin blushed bright red at Kris comment. Chen just scowled.

“Anyway,” Kris said, quickly changing the subject before Chen could lash out at him. “I got an email from the manger that I need to tell you guys about.”

“What is it?”

Kris shook his head. “I want to tell you guys together, so there’ll be no misunderstandings.”

They all nodded in agreement and followed Kris out the room to find Lay and Luhan.

“Is it bad news?”

“Depends.”

I am SO sorry guys - I can't belive I posted this TT-TT

I wanted to update the next day after I posted the previous chapter cause of all the lovely comments <3

But being the stupid b*tch I am, I did something stupid and ended up in hospital - so it's my fault, I'M SORRY :'(
