Underground, Kai was nearly all stone. Ariel was crying over him and comlaining that he just had to kiss her earlier. Now he was dying. Kai grumbled and wished he could flick her forehead.

"Babo." he mumbled. Ariel's head shot up and she glared at him. "How can you call me that?"

Kai did his best to chuckle. "Just kiss me Babo." She softened and lowered her head. As her lips met his, he felt the rest of him slipping away. The rest of his power...and his feelings went to Reena.

Suho too was struggling. Mihyun had him leaned against a wall and was patting his head with a washcloth. "Is there anything I can do?" JR kneeled next to them. It was his first time attempting to help an Alien. Mihyun tearfully shook her head.

Suho reached out and grasped JR's hand. "When I'm gone. Make sure she stays safe." JR nodded and Mihyun scowled. "Don't talk like that!" She snapped.

A large rock fell and sent dust flying. When it cleared they realized that one of the monsters had made it down there with them. Suho saw that Kai was stone now so it was up to him. He struggled to stand but JR pushed him down. "We can take care of ourselves." After hesitating a moment, Suho nodded and lowered himself to the ground.

JR stood and Ren, Baekho, Aron, and Minhyun came next to him. They each had their weapons. Together, they would protect their own kind.

But as they fought, it was easy to tell that they were no match, even with just the one monster. But, they also were bringing hope to the humans. Men were standing and finding whatever weapon they could to bring this creature down. It was a turning point for the humans, ever since this apoclypse started.

The creature still continued to knock them down. But in this moment, Suho learned how prideful humans because every time they got knocked down, they got right back up. Suho was proud.
