A few days had passed and Himchan still hadn’t woken up. Reena hardly left his side. It was like no else existed but him. Lay had to force her to go eat or bath. Kris wasn’t around much and chose to fly around, to clear his head. Reena, on the other hand, wouldn’t explain anything to anybody. She was worried what her dreams had meant. And with Himchan not waking up, she was extremely worried.

“He’s not changing is he? Like, his anatomy is still the same?” Reena worriedly asked while Lay did a check up on him.

“There’s nothing unusual. That’s why I can’t figure out why he’s not waking up.” Lay shook his head. Reena bit her lip and absently nodded. Lay swallowed and looked down. “Reena. You need to decide which one you love.” He painfully looked away. He knew from the beginning that he had no place in her heart. He realized that after Kris had arrived.

“I…” Reena looked at the ground. She seemed so confused and didn’t know what to think.

“By being indecisive you’re hurting everyone.” He bluntly stated.

“I know.” She sighed and left the room.

Lay looked over at Himchan’s sleeping form. “I don’t know why she wanted you here. But I do know she’s hiding something from us.” He thoughtfully tilted his head to the side. “Why would she want to know if you’re physically changing?”

Reena walked around the caves. The humans moved to the sides of the walls to let her pass. They didn’t want to touch in case they turned crazed like the creatures above. Reena couldn’t blame them though. If her dreams were right…she was the cause of all of this.

“Reena!” She looked up and saw Ariel jumping at her, only to tightly embrace her.

“What is it?”

“Get back here!”

“Eep!” Ariel quickly hid behind Reena. Kai was coming towards them with long strides and a scowling face.

“Move Reena.” He growled.

Reena looked Kai up and down and chuckled. “Why are you all wet? And what’s with the soap?” She giggled and placed her hand on one of the many stacks of foam.

Kai snarled. “Ask her.” He accursedly pointed a finger at Ariel.

“It’s rude to point fingers!” She weakly yelled from behind Reena.

“Why you little-!”

“Kai.” Reena placed a hand on his chest. “Don’t be rude to a girl.”

“But!”

Ariel stuck her tongue out at him and his eyes widened in rage. She giggled and took off, followed closely by a raging Kai. Reena shook her head and turned around only to knock into someone else.

“Gosh! Watch it!” The person scowled and started picking up the bowls.

“Let me help.” Reena offered and was stacking her own set of bowls. She looked up and realized who it was she knocked into. “JR!”

He glanced up at her and rolled his eyes. “Just great. I can’t seem to properly avoid you even when I try. Give me the bowls.” He reached out but Reena held them away.

“I said I’ll help.” She smiled and he just kept a straight face.

“Whatever.” He waved his hand and Reena followed after him. It was silent as they walked and JR brought her to a place she had never been before. There were a lot of older people in this area and hardly any children. The only teenagers around were ones that were helping feed and change the elderly.

JR kept walking to the back until he reached a middle aged woman. He placed the bowls on the table in front of her and Reena did the same. “Who is this lovely lady?” She smiled at Reena.

“One of the aliens.” JR shrugged.

Reena held out her hand. “Nice to meet you, I’m Reena.”

“Minhwa.” She softly smiled.

“Take this to your grandfather.” Minhwa handed a bow
