Reena woke up a few hours later and still on the cot. Kris was fast asleep next to her, holding her hand. She softened and smiled. She was going to use her other hand to mess with his hair but she found a weight holding it.

When she looked she found Lay holding her other hand. He was leaning back in a chair with his arms and legs stretched out. Kris’ arms were folded underneath his head.

Reena removed her hands from both grips. Once free she got free of them, she grabbed a change of clothes that was next to her resting place. She then made her way to the waterfall.

It was completely quiet underground right now so she assumed everyone was asleep, the lights were even off. Reena had to move by the natural lights that were in the cave, lighting the way.

Suho once, while walking down the path with her told her that Baekhyun had trapped light within the rocks. That way people would always know which steps to take next, the light led their way.

Reena felt like she needed that light in a different area of her life. She was so confused on what her dream meant and why she needed to get the Exotics and Matorians together. It just didn’t make any sense.

She made it to the waterfall and looked around once before slipping out of her clothes. She dipped her toes in the warm water and smiled. Carefully, she stepped into the water and dunked her head, letting the water cascade down her body.

She made a sound of comfort and just floated in the water for awhile, looking up at the ceiling. The roots of the tree were growing their way through the ceiling and looked like they were making their way down to the water.

Around the roots were little spots of light, it looked like stars.

I’ll have to thank Baekhyun about this. It’s so beautiful.

Reena let her feet hit the bottom and she kneeled down to where her chin was covered in water.

That picture of the monster still hasn’t left her mind. She’s been dreaming about it constantly, though that witch never showed up again.

Everything was confusing to her. The whole thing. It just…Reena shook her head.

She didn’t know how to organize her thoughts.

“Reena?”

She gasped and covered herself, turning around.

“Lay? What are you doing here.”

Lay had an extremely red face and turned his back to Reena. “I got worried when I woke up without you there. I didn’t know you’d be…” He cleared his throat. “Get dressed.”

Reena didn’t have to be told twice. She ran up and quickly slipped into the fresh clothes, despite still being wet. “Ok.”
