Guardian Hongki walked into the Lee household with some boxes, he decided to move in today since Shin Hye was safe inside the Elder's home.  As soon as he walked in he heard laughter echoing inside the house and looked around to find the two older Lee brothers on the floor rolling around near a puddle of water laughing hysterically.  Hongki put down his boxes near the puddle of water and asked the brothers if someone pissed on the floor which caused them to laugh even harder.  He shook his head at them and walked away towards his room, on his way upstairs he almost bumped into a very wet Yong Hwa.  Yong Hwa smiled sheepishly at him as he flitted upstairs towards his room, Hongki shook his head at the youngest Lee thinking at least he won't be bored with the three young vampires around.  He thought about last night and was truly upset to see how bad he was injured, and was still amazed at how well the young vampire had healed.  He saw him on the couch last night when Elder Lee came out of the room, and was stunned to see him alive because where his  injures were located.  He had a poisonous bite to his neck from a vampire with dark blood and was also stabbed with a pure silver blade, not many vampires would live through that and especially one that young.  It just proves how strong their blood lineage was that he survived Choi Seunghyn's attack and healed from it just over night, the young vampire even looked stronger then ever.  Last night when Yong Hwa was healing Elder Lee had informed them that Seunghyn had made a declaration of war by biting Yong Hwa on the neck.  According to vampire law...a vampire biting another vampire on the neck is the ultimate disrespect to their clan and it was also the oldest way to declare war, and last night the Choi clan had declared war on the Lee clan.  After putting the boxes in his room he went back downstairs an sat with the two older Lee brothers laughing and enjoying the calm before the storm. 

INSIDE THE STUDY

Jong Hyun sat across from Shin Hye answering her questions about vampires as they waited for Yong Hwa to return from showering and changing.  It started off as curiosity, but now he can see the true interest in her eyes especially when it came to the Lee clan.  What surprised him was her acceptance in the whole topic, discussing it as if she was reminiscing everything she had just discovered.  He could tell she wanted to ask him something by the way she kept looking up at him, "What is it child, do not hold your tongue if it wishes to wag", he said as he chuckled softly.  Shin Hye smiled shyly at him and wanted to talk about her dreams with him, "Please don't think I'm strange or anything but I always dream about you.  Some dreams are very nice and full of laughter, while other dreams are sad and full tears...then there's the nightmares of me dying and the feeling of loss.  Mr. Lee I know you... when I see you my heart aches and I don't know how to explain it...I don't know if I am happy or sad, I just know that my heart aches at the sight of you.  Can you please help me, I know you know me I can see it when you look at me...I can feel the longing and the sadness when I'm around", she said in the verge of tears.  She sat there starring at him with her eyes full of tears threatening to fall, he knew it was time to discuss everything with her, she needed answers and had turned to him for them.  Jong Hyun slowly got up and sat beside her as he grabbed her hands holding them gently as he spoke soothingly to her, "Do not cry over this little one, because today I will try my best to give you answers.  First I need you to understand that you must open your mind, you just recently discovered there are vampires amongst humans so there are many things out there that we cannot explain but must accept because it's the truth", he said wisely.  She nodded her head accepting to open her mind because deep down she knows there's more to this world then meets the eye, she some how always knew that.  Jong Hyun can see her eyes and mind open, wanting desperately to find answers about herself.  "Shin Hye...dreams are actually windows to our soul...our soul never forgets our past lives, but holds on to it only sharing it with us through our dreams.  When you had dreams of me you were dreaming about your past life, a life that we had shared together.  We had a wonderful life together full of love and laughter, also a bond that was so precious to me that I still cherish it to this day.  Shin Hye you were my younger twin sister Hana in your past life that's why you dream of me and your heart aches when ever you see me", he explained carefully to her.  Shin Hye burst into tears after he explained it to her, she sobbed into her hands at first until Jong Hyun reached out to her comforting her.  She cried in his arms finally understanding why the sight of him makes her heart ache, her heart was crying because her soul had missed him and their bond they shared as twins.  "Even though you are no longer my sister little one, I am truly happy that you are still in my life and this time around you will be my daughter instead of my sister", he said trying to comfort her but his words actually made her cry even harder.  Yong Hwa walked into the study and saw Shin Hye crying in his father's arms, and also saw the sadness in his father's eyes.  He knew his father had told her about her past life they shared as siblings, he can feel the sadness yet relief they shared.  He walked over there and knelt down in front of them hugging them both in his arms, he didn't say a word because his actions spoke for him.  Shin Hye slowly quieted down as Jong Hyun got up and moved to the other couch so Yong Hwa could sit next to her and comfort her, he still needed to explain some more things to her.  "Shin Hye now that you are aware about your past life there are a few other things you should know as well.  You were gifted with Hana's gift of spiritual energy, you actually used it while defending yourself from Seunghyn last night.  You used your spiritual energy along with a fighting move my father had created and had taught to only my sister and I, it seems you also have her fighting skills as well.  Your powers seem to react on its own only when you feel threatened, so I would like to perform a sleep induced mind melt so we can connect you to your past life so you can learn how to use your powers correctly.  The other thing I need to discuss with you is about Choi Seunghyn, he was once obsessed with Hana and now his obsession is with you because I believe he already knew you and Hana shared the same soul.  In the past he would rather see her dead before he would see her with anyone else and that included her family..so we went to war with his clan trying to rescue my sister and avenge my father's death.  In the end he killed my beloved little sister before my very eyes, he escaped and went into hiding and last night he revealed himself for the first time in decades.  He came out of hiding to retrieve you and I think he was shocked to find you with my son who happens to be a prince in the clan that he despises, he became blinded by rage and attacked you both.  The Choi clan is from a different vampire race, they enjoy blood and choose to feed on it which caused alot of human deaths through out history.  Since they are evil and cursed with dark blood their true form reveals itself in battle that's why they resemble creatures because that's when their blood is the darkest and can actually kill if infected.  Last night when Yong Hwa fought him he tried to infect my son with a forbidden attack, and according to vampire law he had declared war on my clan by biting my son's neck.  He declared war the ancient way...a vampire biting another vampire on the neck symbolizes "to the death" which means one of our clans will not survive at the end of this war", Jong Hyun explained with fire in his eyes.  Yong Hwa starred at his father as his last words sunk in..he turned to look at Shin Hye as she sat there trembling from fear, " Is this because of me", she asked in a whisper.  Jong Hyun shook his head no, "This was bound to happen because our clan already made an oath to my father, and an oath to us is a sacred promise made with our blood.  The oath becomes a big part of who we are, living and burning inside us until it is released by achieving our promissory obligation.  So take heart little one and do not point the finger at yourself, he caused this by killing my father and sister, by attacking you and my son, and by declaring war on my clan.  He will regret the day he sank his fangs into my son, because of his actions he has sentenced himself and his clan to death...and we will not pity those who seek our blood", Jong Hyun said assertively.  He stood up and walked over to the window trying to calm his rising anger against the bastard that wants to destroy his clan.  He turned around and looked at the couple, "As of today I expect you to move into our house little one, I also want you to take a personal leave from your employer at the university.  I have already been informed by your Guardian that your apartment and classroom has already been marked by the Choi clan which means they have already ravaged both places.  You will stay with Yong Hwa in his room since you are his eternal life mate...which also reminds me you two will be wedded by the end of this week so that bastard will know that my son has already claimed you and once again you will be right back where you belong...with your clan", he said in his authoritative tone.  Shin Hye looked at the proud old vampire that was once her older brother and knew not to disobey him, so she turned to Yong Hwa and smiled sweetly.  "Guess we don't have to talk to your father about us anymore", she said with a twinkle in her eyes which made Yong Hwa laugh at how well she took his father's demands.
