Sehun’s POV

Ever since the whole trainee secret incident, I realized I gotta be more sensitive.

 So, today I will ask Heeyoung to go to lunch. Not just because, she’s distant from Jaehwa and Hana but, because I wanna be friend, first.

I was walking down the hall , thanks to my height I could look for Heeyoungs small and delicate frame, through the crowd of teenagers. I spotted her about to walk through the school doors. “Heeyoung noona~” I yelled. Luckily, she turned her attention to me. I made my way towards her, She smiled. My heart sang

 “Oh ,Sehun-ah. I just said your whole name” She giggled cutely. I smiled back “Uh, I was wondering if you want to uhh- eat lunch with me and my hyungs” I stuttered and rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. “Aww, thanks. I was just about to eat alone, But I don’t want to intrude” She replied. “No don’t worry about it. My hyungs say it’s fine, plus it’ll be fun having a new friend around” I emphasized the word friend. “Uh, yeah. Let’s go~” She skipped towards the cafeteria, I smiled and followed her.

 We lined up to get our food. I took my tray and Heeyoung followed. I pilled food onto my tray and Heeyoung did too. She looked at me and nodded when, I we arrived at the cashier. “Sehun, I’ll pay” Before I could protest, she handed out bills and a couple coins. “You didn’t have to, I was supposed to be a gentlemen here” I chuckled. Then we proceeded to our usual table.

 “Look who we’ve got here?” Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow

 “Woah, our maknae’s got game” Jongin said, and gave me a high five

 “Hyungs be nice, Okay. This is Kim Heeyoung, she’s in most of our classes. She’s my e-erm, friend” I explained with a stutter

 I took a seat and Heeyoung took a seat in front of me

 “So these are my hyungs, Jong-“

  “Maknae, we can introduce ourselves, Annyeong I’m Jongin, or  Kai”

 “Hey I’m Joonmyun but you can call me Suho” He gave her a charming smile

 “ Hello I’m Kyungsoo, or D.O. But I prefer Kyungsoo”

 “You know me right Heeyoung-ah” Baekhyun waved

 “Hey , Come on you gotta know me” Chanyeol whined and he pulled on her sleeve, like a child. Heeyoung giggled and eye smiled at him.

During the hour of lunch their  table seemed to be the liveliest. Heeyoung made everyone laugh and vice versa. Everyone dug into their food like they have been starving for ages. Even Heeyoung. Untill Suho asked “How’s your fiends, Hana and Jaehwa.. I believe” He asked with a questioning tone of voice

 “Uh, they’re good. We don’t talk much anymore but, I guess we’re still friends. They sometimes put me down, and give me negative comments. But, it’s nothing, I’m a strong girl” She looked down with despair written on her face, but was covered with a soft smile

While she was talking Hana and Jaehwa walk behind Heeyoung, only to pass by her.

 Heeyoung quickly cheered and everyone was back to their playful selves and continued to dig in. “Hey we should all hangout later” Baekhyun playfully suggested

 “Yeah, we should go to the mall” Chanyeol added, with a glow in his eyes

 “Yeah” “Fine with me” Everyone spoke
 
 “Sorry guys, I have to work” Heeyoung frowned and looked at the boys pouting faces. “Maybe the day off wouldn’t hurt, right?” She awkwardly smiled at the now 6 happy boys.

Heeyoung’s POV

 “Hey Heeyoung, I heard your going to the mall with the hotties” Jaehwa scoffed and rolled her eyes.

 “Yeah, I thought you like Sehun you, ” Hana hissed

 We were wall sitting at our desks, Hana and Jaehwa sitting on either sides of me. Their sudden cold attitude stung me. Why were they being like that, did they finally decide ‘Oh, I don’t like Heeyoung anymore, let’s be rude to her’ I don’t get it, I knew they weren’t sensitive but , I never knew they would be that harsh. I gulped and looked to my left and right.

I don’t like Sehun, do I?

 ‘Are you guys that mad at me? What did I do ?’-Heeyoung <3. I wrote on a ripped piece of paper and sent it to Jaehwa. She took it and opened the note. She rolled her eyes and wrote something on it quickly.

At this point I couldn’t focus on my school work. I had no idea what the teacher was talking about. I didn’t know what to write when he gave out the worksheets. My mind was occupied by my social life that was now going down the toilet. I heaved a heavy sigh

 “Ahem” Jaehwa said with the same piece of paper in hands, which was now hovering in front of my face. ‘The fact that you even did that is stupid, and your only making excuses for yourself. It makes you look stupid’ Jaehwa wrote with quick almost illegible writing.

 The clock ticked until the bell finally rang. When it did I ran to the bathroom and into the furthest stall. I sat in the corner sobbing , I ran my fingers through my hair and I stood up on my knees. In front of the toilet , I emptied my stomach.

I sat and thought. I guess today was a day of mixed emotions; laughter brought from new friends and tears brought from, the soon to be old ones.
