AN: Well..this chapter is a bit longer than the others.. Also the cat mentioned in the story is my kitten called Chi-Chi.. Sadly she's still pretty wild T.T

Key sighed as he was waiting for his doctor to call him in. He was really anxious. Suddenly the door opened and a kind-looking nurse came out. ’Kim Kibum, it’s your turn. ’she said with a sad smile. Everyone there knew him already. He was practically a lost case. Key stood up and walked inside, for once, his head was held high. He greeted his doctor with a small smile. Suddenly the nurse realized that Kibum has changed. He was wearing some colorful clothes and he looked happy. She sighed. ’Poor boy.. ’ she thought. ’I wish we had a cure for him..’ she added in his thought.

 Key was asked to take off his clothes. The doctor looked at him strangely. He was still pale but somehow he still looked better. Even as his ribs were clearly visible he seemed to have put on a very small amount of weight. Not enough, but  it was a good start. The boy looked like he suddenly had a reason to fight for. As he observed Key he also noticed that he was also sitting straighter. His whole posture has changed. Then he checked Key’s pulse and breath rate. The results were better than last time. Key was.. calmer. But the doctor knew that he was still sick. He was too thin and weak. His skin was really thin, he could see the boy’s veins. But.. in a way he was just like a painting. Beautiful in his own way. Even if young boys weren’t his thing, he still somewhat adored Key. He had lost his father at a young age and was diagnosed with the same illness. Poor boy didn’t have a chance to live  But now, he looked somewhat better. Somewhat. ’So, were your painkillers enough for you today? I know that when you wake up you’re in a lot of pain.. ’ the doctor said. Key suddenly giggled. ’I didn’t feel anything. I woke up early and quite cheery. ’ he added. The doctor blinked. He hadn’t expected this. He was already prepared for the boy to complain about how much his stomach or head hurt. Not tell him that he felt totally fine. ’I think we should take some blood from you, Kibum.’ Key paled. He absolutely hate needles. Of course before he wouldn’t say anything. But now, diva-Key was here. And he didn’t want needles. ’No. ’ he stated simply. ’I doubt you need to take blood, I had a blood-test two weeks ago. ’The doctor blinked. Kibum had never said anything like this, he would look down and endure the tests. ’I am sure that we have to take it,something might be wrong with you. ’ he said and he was truly worried, something might have happened to Key that made him like this. His illness’s side-effects haven’t been discovered yet, only a few of them. So sudden mood-swings and anger could be the sign of his condition’s worsening. ’Look, boy.  Something serious might be happening to you. So stretch your hand out and wait. ’ the doctor commanded. Key sighed and knowing that running would make it worse, he did as he was told. He winced as the needle was pressed into his thin skin and his blood was taken. He looked away. Finally the process was finished and Key sighed in relief. ’There, can I go now?’ he asked irritated. The doctor nodded silently. Key walked out, his head held high. He looked like a true diva. ’The results will be out in a week! ’ the nurse shouted after him

 As Key arrived home, he immediately looked for something to eat. This was rare, but he was really hungry. He found some cereal. He hasn’t eaten cereal in a long time. As he made a huge bowl of it, his thoughts wandered off to Jonghyun. ’I bet he’s having fun..’ Key pouted.

 Jonghyun indeed was having ’fun’. Can you feel the sarcasm? The poor puppy-dino was trying to find a suitable gift-a kitten for his Bummie. But there was so much to choose from. And many of them were pretty wild, while the tamed once just looked bored and didn’t seem to care about him. Suddenly a soft mewing sound caught his attention. It was a tiny, white kitten white black spots on it’s back. The kitty’s almost whole face was black, but it had some white too. And of course, somehow it’s tail was black – with a thin white ring at the end of it. Jonghyun reached his hand out to pet the kitten, but it hissed at him. It had a pinkish collar on, so Jonghyun realized that ’it’ was a girl. Whenever he would try to pet her, the kitty would hiss or take a few steps back. Jonghyun sighed. She would be perfect for Key, but she was so fussy. Gently he grabbed the kitten quickly. She started mewing and clawing at him weakly. Jonghyun tried to calm her down. After some time, his calming worked. The kitty laid her tiny head on his chest and seemed to smile at him as she purred. Jonghyun smiled. ’You’ll going to be the perfect for my Bummie. ’ he stated. As if understanding, the kitty purred at that.

Key sighed and felt really bored. He had already finished studying and was waiting for something to happen. He decided to open his diary and sketch something for the stranger. Key hadn’t really drawn in years, because he had lost his inspiration but suddenly, he had an idea.

Hey, stranger. You now, you were right. So this is for you x3

He wrote and started sketching. It was a puppy with huge, brown eyes and multi-colored fur. Smiling to himself Key finished the drawing quite quickly. And it looked really good. He quickly draw a collar on the puppy’s neck and named it ’Dino.’ He quickly put the book away and smiled. Suddenly his phone rang.  

Jonghyun finally finished getting all the supplies the kitty needed and decided to give her to Key now. So he called him. ’Hey Key, are you free now? ’ he asked. Key yawned into the phone. ’Yeah. ’ Jonghyun smiled. ’I am going over.’ he stated. ’O..Okay..’ Key answered and inside he was giggling.

 So Jonghyun picked the supllies and the kitty up and walked to Key’s house. Fortunately it wasn’t far away. He knocked on the door and soon Key opened it, with a confused face. Jonghyun was holding the kitten in his face. She mewed loudly suddenly. Key blinked then smiled widely. ’Who is this sweetie, Jongie?’ he asked taking the kitten. She immediately purred and nuzzled her face into his chest. She liked this boy. ’She is yours, Bummie. I thought that you lacked something. It was a cat. ’ Jonghyun said. Key grinned. ’Thank you..really..’ he said, still a bit shocked. He loved cats and he was really happy that it was his crush who gave him the kitten. It just felt like Jonhyun knew. The kitten demanded his attention with gently pawing at his hand. He chukled and scratched her ear, earning a loud purr. Key put her down on the couch for a minute and hugged Jonghyun tightly.’Thanks you..’ he whispered again and again. Jonghyun was pretty much shocked, but extremely happy. He hugged Key back and held him tight. ’You’re welcome Bummie..’he whispered.
